先不总结2009跟2010的愿望先

从23日到30日
天天都出门
累死我了

23日
下午拿半天假
跟Jeysthur那班人去vivo的那个secret recipe hi-tea
然后傍晚去bugis跟PG去吃晚饭

24日
跟Chee Chuan那班人出去K
其实这个时候K很贵咯

还不如去其他地方还便宜点
还有很久违不见的朋友
叙旧叙旧下咯

25日
跟PG还有YS出街City Hall吃饭
我们这三人组要相约出来吃饭很难的
所以实属难得

26日
表妹来新加坡玩4天
所以这一天就是留给表妹的
带她出去Bugis逛街
还看到颖芬、表妹男友
然后雪玲也来
掺在一起吃饭吹水酱

27日
约好WC还有Jeysthur出来互酸 + 吃饭
一个两个废到～

28日
James, YB, Sharon, YL, Jesslyn, PH一起出来庆祝YL的生日
先去打保龄球
看来我要努力学正确打法了
然后再去吃火锅
饱下

30日
Joseph家housewarming
全部人都去
唯独Edwin人在中国，没有来
大家都还是一样咯
不过我发现大家都有胖了少许
Joseph的狗几可爱啊～
之后就K歌整一个多钟
12点大家也就各散离去了
下一个是几时呢？
个人希望等Edwin回来再办一个

2009年回顾
真的，好坏参半
好事就有ORD了啦，做工赚钱啦，结识新朋友啦等等
坏事也有发生，虽然很不愉快，但我当作是吸取教训吧

2010新愿望
不敢奢侈太多
1. 1st class 1st class，希望给我拿到！
2. 坐飞机（虽然这个听起来很白痴，可是我就是没钱坐啊！）
3. 改善跟某人之间的友情，表再添不愉快的事了
4. IPPT，希望给我pass吧！那个RT会噩梦的
5. 身体健康，表有大病缠身

本来还想写个桃花的，但总觉得自己没有自信，况且未来日子更艰巨……到时再打算吧！

风云2

Had this movie outing with Yun Zhen and Hui Ying (新认识的朋友) yesterday. All Yun Zhen's treat haha! Thanks Yun Zhen ah~

First went for dinner at this 新旺茶餐厅 as proposed by Yun Zhen since he paid for the tickets mah. So he can speak the loudest liao. We 三个人看 menu also want to 三八 and 酸 each other =.= HAHA! Had this baked rice, but personally feel that JB one is slightly better.

And Yun Zhen, stop talking about school work to me!!! >.<

Then the movie, oh well, the story was super predictable la. Then came one part on this naming of the 步惊云's sword, Yun Zhen ask me what is it. I told him I don't know. Indeed the movie also says don't know haha! 这个很废下……

Then shortly after that Yun Zhen asked me that guy is 郭富城 is it? I totally kena bombed by him lor... 4 heavenly kings leh, also don't know! =.=

Personally, on a serious note, I feel that if the movie is depicted in cantonese dialect, I guess there is more feel to it, after all this is a HK movie. The dubbed version one is a bit fake.

Oh well, about that girl, quite chatty lor, same JC as YZ. Always see both of them 酸ing each other. LOL, super funny la~

过去新山一日游！

首要任务就是扫原子笔！
然后发现那边的计算机便宜整10多块马币！
啊，早知道去那边买……

Then就是逛街吃东西就回家咯

12月4日

回camp看人看狗
只能说2009年是个很不利的一年
够力咯
狗狗一个个走去
很无奈

然后去打羽毛球
很久没有打了
虽然不是很厉害打
但是随便打啦，玩玩下
很好玩

12月5日 - 12日

槟城+怡保+芙蓉

哈哈！
首先去冷甲
头一天驾了540km
很high下
但是途中发生小状况
我在跑着110km/h
一辆罗厘在我车前突然轮胎爆炸
一个boom巨响
但是没有吓到我，依然镇定继续行驶

这次开那么大辆的车走超窄的路
对我这个开车新手而言
心里想是有一点点挑战
但事实上什么挑战都没有
还很容易呢

听闻冷甲开了一间KFC
晚上就过去街上看下
哇，比新加坡任何一间KFC都要大
O.O
一个小镇做到酱大zomok
=.=

槟城
个人觉得不错
很像新加坡
那些路窄窄的
而且市区的路都是单程道
走到尽头不是左转就是右转

重点是食物好吃！
在新关仔角(Gurney Place)那边有一档卖类似印度‘rojak’的
那个印度人很搞笑
会跟着音乐节奏切然后捞的
快歌就切快点
慢歌就捞慢点
很可爱一下

哈哈
那边的人，就算是小孩子
都是讲福建话的
跟吉隆坡和怡保的广东文化有差

天气很热咯
没下到一点雨
表讲雨
连一点乌云都看不到
真的名副其实的‘阳光普照’

在槟城住了两晚后
就南下怡保
shopping比较有东西看

然后徒步去吃芽菜鸡
对面的店在那边炸客家歌
笑到我
其实还不错下，尝美食又有歌来娱乐下

然后就是下芙蓉
这次尝到马来西亚的KFC
只能说新加坡的KFC输很多
人家的cheesy fries的cheese真的很够味
炸鸡也是超热超新鲜

然后就shopping下
没东西买
晚上去酒楼吃大餐
我还是第一次看到酱大条的鱼！

因为我也是拿考试而拒绝出来见面
但最终我还是让步
有人认为不应该拿考试当借口
因为见面这种东西真的很难得的

在新加坡压力真的大
学业虽然重要
但朋友也一样重要咯
当你有困难的时候
你会发现，连最烂的朋友都有机会变成很好朋友
对我而言，你们要把我排在什么类型的朋友其重点实不在我这边，而是你们的态度
我的态度向来都很好的
没有偏心偏爱
真的，谁的态度差，我对他的态度也跟着差

还有
大学学业忙碌，没时间出来见朋友
难道就是说现在你只有大学的朋友，之前交的都当作废的咯？
等老了以后，才来投诉没朋友？

令他大感失望（摇头ing）
也颇为不敢恭维
B君就叫C君去
C君就以牙还牙不理不睬
给B君感受下人家的难处

例子三：
讲得出 做得到！
话说D君有outing点子先
然后告诉E君
于是E君就主动去筹办
结果outing当天D君打电话来说不能去了
因为有project要做
E君唯有取消整个outing
E君跟F君都大感失望
但F君很不明白明明E、F、G君都可以出来见面
zomok要取消掉？
当晚E君大吐苦水给F君
F君的心理想“你自己以前也是一样，半斤八两啦，现在知道主办者的苦衷难言了hor？”

你们到底什么心态来的？！无言……

所以这帖的主题是泛泛之交还是诚心之交？
之前我都很乐观的
我个人认为我跟他们都是诚心之交
我是真想跟每个人都做好朋友的
不理他来自什么背景

但听过dominic的‘投诉’后，我看该检讨下了
到底这些看似的‘诚心之交’，有几个是真的诚心之交？
有谁是互相利用，尔虞我诈？
有谁是hi-bye类型的朋友？

This week is the 2nd slackest week (yet most stressful week) of all. Exams are coming next week! Ouch!

Mathematics I: I must get A+ for this..

Computing: WTH, deleted qn 1?!

Econs: no lecture for this week

Effective communication: excellent for reflection paper, but not so good on brochure work

NTU Year 1 Semester 1 Week 11 review

2 more weeks and we are on our own to kill the exam!

I realised that some people are very vulnerable to external influences and have a special way of dealing with stress. Well, it's up to them; I won't encourage this way to de-stress. It's just not worth it.

As hands itchy, went to do some past year paper questions on Physics and Maths. Surprisingly, I can do Physics I without attending any of the lectures.

Physics II: as usual, nothing much

Chemistry: Quiz next week... Stress...

Mathematics I: as usual, skipped most of the lectures V.V But I slipped for the maths quiz... no full marks liao! But I believe my concepts are correct.

Computing: I understand array better, but I need more help for pointers!

Econs: econs quiz, well i just expect 75-80% for the quiz, and lecture 11 was difficult to understand!

Effective communication: felt nice after the speech, I was nervous!

Lab: make up lab on C3, which was easier than C4 V.V

What I've been doing recently...

Saturday 24-10-2009

Had a mini karaoke + dinner session with the fellow secondary school classmates:

1. Yin Boon
2. Sharon
3. Sin Yi
4. James
5. Yee Loong
6. Pui Han (dinner only)

Oh well, Yin Boon and me were late lol... No la, actually we did not late, just that the other group went to buy some drinks lol!

On our way there, we chatted about handphones and computers... LOL... We were eyeing the iphone 4G. The current 3GS didn't have the WOW factor to attract us and I hope Apple to brush up their products, the iphone is super fragile!!!

Sharon keep emphasising that very long time never sing with us liao. But then hor, I remembered we just had a karaoke session back in August lor!

According to Sharon, Sinyi's voice is suited for oldies - this I kinda agree. Some of the songs she will just automatically self-high one!

On the other hand, Jesslyn, did not change much. The childish voice still as 逗趣 as ever, but one thing I noticed is that when she sings duet songs, her voice appeared to sound much clearer when compared to singing solo. LOL

Yee Loong didn't choose the song 选择！

James chose those Jay Chou songs, a Jay fan!

After the karaoke session, we went to Orchard by the bus 106. Had some talk on this 'controversial' topic on dialects. Nothing wrong to learn and speak dialects. Interestingly, the course Sharon is reading requires the students to learn the pronounciations of the tones in those dialects under Cantonese + Hokkein family.

Dinner was held at Pasta Waraku @ Heeren. Pui Han came and join us. Poor girl only slept for 1 hour the night before...

I didn't patronise this restaurant before, it was an eye-opener for me. Look at the menu! OMG, the variety was a lot a lot. But the basil pasta I wanted was not available - they ran out of the wafu cream! Never mind, I will try it next time.

In the end, I chose this prawn 'creamy' pasta. It was made 'creamy' by the egg yolk la! So instead of having the easy-sickened cheesy taste, the egg yolk actually neutralised it. It didn't taste as 腻 as purely cheese, instead, it tasted a bit sweeter which I think blended well with the pasta and the prawns. $14.80.

Then I shared the strawberry sundae ($2.80) with Sin Yi. Not bad, the vanilla ice cream was exactly the same as the McD 50 cents ice craem! But I liked Yin Boon's peach sundae!

After the dinner, had a walk from Heeren to Raffles City, just to drag the time and chit chat along the way - it's 难得 for us to get together haha! We gave the chance to Jesslyn to show that Orchard and City Hall are not far! It's walkable distance. But then yesterday night's weather was a bit stuffy hot. =.=

Home sweet home at 11.30pm

I really cherish each gathering and I hope more are coming up! Next one is the 4-01 class gathering cum gift exchange session. Well, I hope as many people attend as possible, but then I understand that due to work/study/NS committment, it is not possible to ask the whole class to come. Haiz...

And when is the K9 outing???!!!!!!!

25-10-2009 Sunday

Went to JP library and pair study with Yat Kan. He helped me with my Econs queries while I reminded him of the shortcuts when doing partial fractions. Also I taught him how to work with finding roots of unity (complex numbers).

* Now I have better idea of lecture 1-4 liao! Thanks Yat Kan!

Had nasi lemak + otah as lunch ($3.20). I didn't like the otah, no taste at all. No comment on the nasi lemak, but the chilli given was a bit little. Could have given more.

I thought the coffee Yat Kan drank was actually teh! Look at the amount of condensed milk added=.= The colour just looked exactly like teh. Suddenly I miss the Malaysian thick coffee... Ahh~~

In the end, he gave up faster than me lol...

Physics II: as usual, nothing much

Chemistry: i tried to make myself love this subject.

Mathematics I: skipped most of the lectures V.V

Computing: getting more and more confused!!!

Econs: the tutorial questions are getting harder and harder... i'm dying

Effective communication: shit loh, next week present speech!

Lab: public holiday = no lab... but need to make up 2 lab sessions loh =.=

Physics II: lectures topic are getting more and more familiar which I learnt in A levels. Nothing much to comment. But I wonder what grade I would be getting in exams.

Chemistry: interesting on alkanes, alkenes and alkynes. Oh ya! The quiz... zzzzz....

Mathematics I: tutor went to zap copies of my quiz solutions to distribute to the whole class =.=

Computing: getting more and more confused!!!

Econs: the tutorial questions are getting harder and harder...

Lab: easy practical work, hard discussion questions >.<

NTU Year 1 Semester 1 Week 8 review

Results of some quizzes are out... =X

Physics II: I like the lectures. Getting more and more interesting :)

Chemistry: Pon the lecture. Had the quiz this week. Well some incidents happened during the test, shall elaborate on this later.

Mathematics I: Pon the lecture also! Haha! The lecturer loves sound effect wor

Computing: 30 mins cover 50 slides... Damn fast... =.=

Econs: I like the topic on unemployment :(

Effective communication: assignment 1 was marked and handed back. Now handed up assignment 2, 2 weeks later hand up assignment 4 and then there is assignment 3! Wah, fierce leh...

Lab: attended art lesson ;)

Regarding what happened during the chem test. Had 3 incidents.

1st one happened during the test, this FT raised up his hand and asked the tutor if he could borrow a Chi-Eng dictionary - he don't know what is the chinese term for ammonium... =.=

2nd one happened before the test, the tutor has mentioned a lot of times that do not turn over the paper until said so. So this FT immediately turned over the paper after received it and saw the questions. =.=

3rd one happened after the tutor has shouted "STOP!", then this FT (from the 2nd incident) still struggling and don't care what the tutor has said... until the tutor snatched the paper away. LOL

Ok, some updates...

Congrats to Mr Yeo (my F maths teacher) having a new daughter (I suppose) born. Also congrats to Ms Goh is pregnant! Hope to see them soon... awaiting more info from Wee Chong.

Then James and Yee Loong is now organising a new 4-01 gathering event. Wow, so high over this! Play games nia...

When is K9 outing? I wonder...

This recess week is damn sian... School starting soon =x

NTU Year 1 Semester 1 Week 7 review

Hell busy week for me!

Physics II: not too bad here, but how to get the thing moving is a big problem... Oh ya, the quiz... T.T

Chemistry: enjoyed the tutorial lessons every now and then. Lectures are fine.

Mathematics I: part 1 of FE1006 has been completed. Wonder how's part 2 going to be like.

Computing: Quiz die lo! No lectures for whole of this week.

Econs: Erm, still manageable. But I still worry wor.

Effective communication: We managed to survive on the deserted island!

Lab: no lab, OT OT OT for the formal lab report out.

Very true for me with 3Mbps shared among 5-6 computers

NTU Year 1 Semester 1 Week 6 review

I will always remember 18-9-2009. 8.30am to 7pm. Thanks har...

Physics II: the quantum part is over, now comes the topic of electricity. So far so good.

Chemistry: physical chem is over too. Now comes the topic of organic chemistry. Not too bad la, I hope to do well for this module.

Mathematics I: suddenly went crazy and completed all the tutorials as of now. The latest tutorial contains 12 pages of my answers. =.=

Computing: part 2 of computing! The fastest pace of lecture I've seen! 67 slides completed in 1.5 hours lor... My friend don't even know the lecturer has skipped so many slides liao.

Econs: the lecture is the easiest since the 1st one... Hahaha!

Effective communication: keeps my fingers crossed, hope I do well for Assignment 1.

Lab: lab report to be due 5 Oct!!! Who has the template for me to refer??

Mixed feelings now

Attended Geraint's farewell party last saturday. It was well, enjoyable with the food, the beers, the dancing and the hokey pokey. Most importantly, I can get together with the fellow seniors and juniors and chit chat everything under the sun.

Sorry if this post is dedicated to Oldo.

Was a bit dismay upon hearing something happened to Oldo's hind legs, they can't move anymore. I think this is due to the age - Oldo is really old. The problems just come and visit Oldo. 年迈高龄，老毛病总是很热情地找上门来，而且是长住……

Today, was a bit shocked to hear that he was put to sleep. Reason? As mentioned above. Well, it's saddening and depressing to hear that now he cannot move as freely as he can be. He can't stand at all!

If you call him out, he will just 'leopard crawl' towards the door. As if someone is being wounded or handicapped but trying to get a very simple thing done. 无助时往往最令人怜悯的，但除了眼睁睁看它这样，我们还能作出什么来帮助它呢？

And all the pee-pee and poo-poo are done on the spot. Since he cannot stand, he would be lying on these pee-pee and poo-poo all over the place. Imagine the high chance of getting eczema? 排尿排便都是往自己身上解决，看了都叫人心酸……

However this is happening so quickly! I was thinking of whether to allocate a time to go back and visit him for the last time. Luckily, as a consolation, I went back last month. The memories would be quite fresh. 时间就是这样，不按牌理出牌，要让我们领悟到遗失的美好吗？

We shouldn't be over saddened by Oldo's death, maybe Oldo is more optimistic to see death than us wor! So, we should offer our blessing to Oldo when he's in heaven...

And this is my message to Oldo: "You have completed your service, it's not a waste! You brought laughter and joy to us, you brought friendships to us and the fellow doggies... You better don't be so fierce to Ranger liao hor, must friend friend with him and you all will make the best dogs in the world!"

我们不应该为Oldo感到太过伤心，说不定它比我们任何人对于死更看得开！所以我们应该祝福在天堂里的它啊！

还有这是我要对Oldo讲的 “你已经完成你的使命了，真的没有白费！你带来欢乐给大家，你带来友谊给我们也给其他的狗狗们。从今以后你不好对Ranger凶巴巴的，你们两个要做好朋友，这样就能成为世界上最好的狗狗啦～！”

NTU Year 1 Semester 1 Week 5 review

Quizzes are coming up!!! Oh no!

And for you, 不好突然间偷袭我，想吓死我咩？

Physics II: Don't intend to launch a personal attack here, but I find there can be improvements made to the lecture notes, perhaps in terms of formatting. Now, the notes are just too confusing. Luckily I have reference book for back up.

Chemistry: Same as before, the best tutor I've ever seen. Lectures are fine.

Mathematics I: one of my favourite topics - derivatives, is going on here. Was so high over the questions that I finished almost everything in the tutorial in 1.5 hours (plus some slacking of course =) )

Computing: Starts to get complicated now, with all the !, &, = appearing all over the place. But today the lecturer shared some stories with us with regards to the subject.

Effective communication: Oops, I pon-ed the lecture. For tutorial, I didn't expect to get good remarks for our group discussion exercise because our work was considered the shortest compared to other groups. But yet we could hit the target with least number of words! Short and sweet is the key here. Haha, quite happy about that.

Lab: This is called lab work for this week? We used computers to draw out the chemical molecules then from there, we answer the questions.

Just finished 'chasing' this new HK drama in HD format. Very funny from the partner duo 黄子华 and 佘诗曼.





Not only it's a comedy show, but it also teaches me some of the economic terms:

合理化烟幕
A very commonly used trick even in our daily lives. The example used in the drama is bowls of noodles. Suppose a bowl of noodles cost $6, then it would cost $24 for 4 bowls of noodles. But now consumers only need to pay $20 for 4 bowls of noodles, i.e. top up $2 for the 4th bowl.

To the consumer, he thinks he can save down $4. But the actual fact is that the captial for 3 bowls and 4 bowls of noodles are more or less the same, yet the hawkers can earn $2 more.

葡萄藤行銷法
This means the words from mouth are very powerful tools. Whether the public is spreading the correct message, it can affect the company very greatly.

This is called 'catfish effect' in English. The story comes from Norway. In Norway, people like to eat sardine fish and they prefer those live than the dead ones. Hence, the fishmonger cleverly put catfish into the boxes. The catfish starts to swim around. When the sardine fish see the catfish, they start to get nervous and swim around and around. In this way, when the fish arrives in front of the customers, they are alive.

In economic terms, this effect is used to spur up the workers' spirit in their work.

It's known as Pareto principle (also known as the 80-20 rule) in English. Roughly, it means that 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes. It was named after Italian economist Vilfredo Pareto, who observed that 80% of the land in Italy was owned by 20% of the population.

NTU Year 1 Semester 1 Week 4 review

I can sense the things are getting more and more complicated liao. It's time to pay 101% at lessons!

Physics II: Today has the most difficult subtopic covered - Principle of complementarity! Based on my conjecture, > 90% of the lecture group is lost! OMG... die liao...

Chemisty: The tutor is my favourite tutor now! Not only we played brain teaser game, but also ice breaker during tutorial. On the other hand, I could see he really put in effort to teach us. So in return, I would spend more effort doing the tutorials la. The lectures are fine this week, even though I don't like the ionisation with whatever weak acid/base and its conjugate salt... Hin...

Mathematics I: Oops, I forgot to add this in... So far so good now, but I can't wait for the lecturer to go on talking about derivative.

Computing: As usual, not much problem now... But unpredictable in future as more and more terms are introduced now.

Effective communication: The most boring lecture for this week!

Lab: The most difficult of the 3 mechanical experiments!

Today is teacher day.

Honestly, it has been 3 years since I last celebrated teacher day. Now, I'm back as a student. They don't have this as school holiday liao... Sad.

Actually is I nothing to write on blog la... just create something to write haha!

NTU Year 1 Semester 1 Week 3 review

I would probably say honeymoon period would probably end this week or next week.

Why do I say so?

This is because the first few lectures introduce back those stuff which I've already learnt in A level 3-4 years ago. Except for computing though.

Coming up... New topics and knowledge will be taught and it's time to put 101% attention during lectures. No more ‘魂不守舍’ liao... Haha!

Physics II: Optics has ended. Personally, I found the lecturer quite nice. He really articulate well, simplifying looks-chim concepts so that we can understand better. Also, his general knowledge also great. He used these to 'entertain' us at times so that not to let us fall asleep. The new lecturer, erm I can understand 90% of his chinese English...

Chemistry: Still the same. Am I going to re-learn the stuff, which took me 2 years during A level, in just less than half a year? The good thing is that they are testing on concepts, not on memory and accuracy... 早讲啦！弄到我给人家笑……

Computing: In chinese, 又爱又恨！Love and hate it. Reason being computing is very logical, yet I can't find my error in my program write-up! Very sian when this happens.

Effective communication: Same as week 1. Shan't comment too much here.

Lab: This week's lab work was fun! I had the chance to enjoy what's being 'frictionless'. Haha!

NTU Year 1 Semester 1 Week 2 review

A stressful week it was! Had 2 make up Physics lectures (= 3 hrs). So practically except for Wednesday, it's 100% full day for me for this week. Peng soon... =.=

Physics II: The lecturer is another self-high type - likes to side track and get high over famous people and those general knowledge information. But overall, the lectures were good I would say. Voice was loud and clear, this one I like as compared to the maths lectures. At least it keeps me focused at lectures.

Chemistry: Still revision on A level stuff. But the good news is that no tutorial for this week!!! Oh yeah!

Computing: OMG! I think I'm going to die because of this subject. The tutor I had (I'm not saying bad about her) had a very ang moh English accent, which I could grasp 60-70% of her words only... Die liao la

Effective communication: At least the lecture for this week was quite interesting. The German lecturer went high again =.= Can't be said for tutorial tho.

Lab: Nothing much to comment. Very A level styled. But now the WS gets longer.

NTU Year 1 Semester 1 Week 1 review

Here's my conclusion for this week.

Physics II: No lecture for this week! OMG, going to die with make up lectures! And the notes, see liao I hin...

Chemistry: Beginning to like it and it is all revision to A level Chemistry. The periodic table gets more detailed. Example, molar mass for 1H is 1.00g back then. Now it becomes 1.008g. Precision is the key here.

Maths I: Now I realised one thing - I've never regretted taking up Further Mathematics during JC. After seeing year 1 maths, most of the content I could digest without much problem. Just went through some trigo stuff, function stuff, exponential stuff only. The lecturer is bo liao also, self-highing over clickers. Ask stupid questions confirm get stupid answers de mah.

Computing: Not much comment yet, but it looks manageable as of now. Not sure if I can take on programming. All those programming languages! OMG~

Effective communication: The worst module IMO. I don't know what the lecturer wanted to express. Perhaps using more real-life and concrete examples would be better than using those very chim + abstract terms.

Principles of Economics: Looks okay as of now. A bit interested in this topic too.

Lab works: No lab works for this week.

Today met up new friends. They were friends of Yao Dong. Luckily me... If not I would be alone for today liao...

Then went out with them to SIM for lunch. SIM looks very modern and office-like. The whole building is air-conditioned and this adds value to it. No wonder the fee so expensive la~ And then parking is free!

The western food there not bad leh, price is affordable yet serving portion was huge! Even the guys couldn't finish their chicken cutlet set. But I wouldn't advise to have it very other day.

Regarding the textbooks, I see some people are really kiasu! Just wack all the textbooks up! =.= For me, at least see how the progress la. If it's easy then textbook might not be needed at all. If it's difficult then textbook might help along. Exclude those compulsory textbooks.

1st day @ NTU!

Finally, this day has come. Should I be happy or emo? Afterall, after 2.5 years of working, suddenly ask me to go back to school to study is quite abrupt.

Went to collect the clicker and matriculation card as well. Luckily I got it in time.

The very first lesson was Chemistry. Seemed okay. But my chemistry isn't that good, I think I have to consult Yat Yat haha...

Then next was the Effective Communication. This one I felt bored. The content seemed very complicated. Shall try my best to understand more.

After completing my day, went to crash Jia Yun's lecture. OMG, all the content were so familiar. Haha, learnt it before. So it's like a refresher course for all the incoming students.

Hoot hoot hoot for the NTU!

Busy getting the stationeries for school. OMG! School starting soon! Can't imagine it's happening to me now, after 2 years and 8 months of rest. Haha! But my brain hasn't died yet. Realised I still remembered most of the maths and 50% of physics concept. But my chem... must work extra hard for it lor..

Look at the most expensive hoot of all the stationeries!



It's a mechanical pencil, looks pretty normal enough. But what makes this stand out from the rest pencils is that it has a self tip rotation mechanism. That means I don't have to put up with blunt pencil lead anymore! $7.10 a bit heart pain.

一周大小事

Recently have been plagued by unknown illness... I felt heaty yet I don't have fever. Then followed by sore throat. =.=

Last day of work (4-8-2009)
Well, to think back, people at KIE were not bad, especially Angie, Haegen, YouHwa, CJ they all... I gained a lot of them. Had a farewell meal at Taman Jurong there. CJ drove a Camry to bring us there. Wow, felt like a king like that. Haha!

Then immediately after work, went to Bukit Panjang Plaza to meet Peng Guan and Yong Sheng. There they managed to solve one mysterious Physics question! Oh yeah!

NTU freshman ceremony + batch dinner (5-8-2009)
Managed to find Yat Kan to attend this event together. But I was surprised there was another person tagging along - Yun Zhen! Only thought both of us going only, really unexpected lorr...

The ceremony was simple, yet boring. The goodie bag contained a M-sized jacket, a 2GB thumbdrive, a monthly schedule planner, a torch and some other leaflets. Personally I find jacket and thumbdrive useful only.

Then this batch dinner at 镇发活海鲜 I don't know who was the organiser - Shi Hao or Yun Zhen at first. On the 4th's morning, smsed Shi Hao informing him I might not be going without any reason given.

Then afternoon I had 2 missed calls from Yun Zhen?! It's a super rare moment he actually called me, but I don't know the purpose. Then came in a sms from him trying to persuade me to go. Another unexpected thing. =.= So the organiser is him la!

Then this morning I smsed back asking what does he want (based on previous experience, his words a bit hard to believe liao). He replied whatever he said it's false la bla bla bla, then said if don't care about me, he wouldn't contact me. Saw liao also don't know what to reply.

After that, I bumped into him. OMG! I cant run away liao. He kept asking me going or not. I answered see my mood first. But deep in thought, could see that he really want to meet our batch guys up through this first ever outing by him. Couldn't bear to disappoint him also.

Then while walking back to south spine, I told him why I'm pek cek with him. I didn't angry with him though. If it's true, then I will try to avoid him, better for us. If it's not, then I just don't know why he wants to make such comments. It's tragedic to have the feelings being fooled.

Then he reasoned out that words from mouth are shit la, must use eyes and feeling to judge bla bla... Not wrong in any sense but problem is it involved you and words come from your mouth ok? Don't believe you then who should I believe liao?

Ok, he can have his reasons.... which I find it a bit awkward to fit into the problem. But nonetheless, it's good to clear things out.

Then at the restaurant, everybody was shocked by Jansen's new hairstyle - rebonded hair! Haha, I wouldn't deny it doesn't look bad on him. Haha!

The food was average which I think you can even make your own steamboat. The sushi was loose imo. SK their steamboat seriously got 'contaminated' by chlorine. The smell was so pungent.

K9 visit (7-8-2009)
I thought this already died off. But morning received msg from Bay saying meeting later at Clementi. Haha

Anyway, only Bay, Jia Yun and Jonathan Chua went back. Upon reaching the place, saw Chionh! OMG, he already started his ICT! Wa, that's damn fast lei.

Then ascended up the hill, all faces were very stranger. Went in to check out the dogs... Charlie didn't change much, still looked very excited upon seeing food. Some dogs had changed, like Jackie. Well, it's always delightful to see them. Compared them to the dogs which I did my volunteer work, it was a great difference.

NTU timetable out liao!

Seen my first ever NTU timetable... Well, no surprise there. But 19 AU is not light at all lor. Someone from Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering got 16 and then it's 4-day week. Hope my labour would pay off!

Went K with 2 kinds of friends. PG from BMT and Sharon, Chee Chuan and Yida from HYSS. Gd that they match. Then came in Pei Sing. Wow, she sang very well! Haha

But don't really like the kbox service, the shortest K duration ever! 2hr 45mins =.= Isn't it supposedly to end at 10pm?
