PG这个衰仔，那么快就放弃又被CDRAMA卖的音乐专辑吸过去了

还走阴的，把专辑里头的歌曲歌手抄进手机
回家找

后来找不到就走去四马路去找
找来找去都找不到，原来得悉周末闭门休息……
真的是白跑

The content of the ad is roughly like this: A NUS student looking for girlfriend with $200 monthly allowance.

A few days later, this ad was reported in a Chinese language newspaper with the NUS student referred to threadstarter!
So this forumer opened another thread saying that the reporter did not verify the facts before report it in the newspaper...

Billy Bombers Outing + Street King Movie

Today was a hectic day... Shan't talk about it.

Well, this post is a long post. Beware!
Morning went to work and saw a parked Fiat Punto, it must be KDJ's rented car lo. Not bad huh.

He rented this car for the much anticipated outing which has been discussed for more than a week already. He wanted a Billy Bombers outing which is to be held after the payday. So I volunteered to join lor.

KDJ is kind enough to think of renting a car to ferry those attending the outing! In regard to this, I up for him! But too bad la, OSY also drove his car today. Surprised too. In the end, it turned out to be more seats than the people going. Never mind la... KDJ that car was channel 5 frequency while OSY channel 8 frequency.

Surprisingly YLA also went...

小闹剧在门口上演。

This KDJ actually came out of the car later than me, in hoping to return the car pass. I asked him (as I'm surprised)if he's going to eat in that outfit, he said of course not. Heng ah, how am I going to have a meal with people with that outfit?! And he's so cheeky to said that he wanted to take back his identity card faster than me! And he succeeded! OMG~ Two childish adults squeezing and pushing each other for the exchanging of passes and cards... LOL

We took PIE, heading for GK's house first, before heading to downtown. I always have the impression that GK is damn rich. At last, it proved my point that he is that rich! A three-storey house, just newly-renovated with a modern look, situated at Bukit Timah, very near to Nanyang Girl High School. His bedroom is at the top floor: toilet with a bathtub, a projector TV, LCD TV connected to Xbox 360 and Wii. See how rich he is?!

After that, we headed for The Cathay House, which is located besides Plaza Singapura. OSY actually told me he's never been to Orchard before. I was stunned! But luckily, I told him I roughly know the way there... Okay, everything was smooth except that he showed stunt by going straight instead of turning right at right turn lane... Phew, no TP around...

Went to buy movie tickets with OSY. The movie is rated NC16, i.e. only those > 16 years old can be allowed to watch. The receptionist requested to verify our age by showing our student passes to her. Okay, we replied that we're under SAF. But still she insisted that she wanted to see student passes on us, so I handed my ez-link card to her. She held the card with both hands and looked at the card with lots of curiosity and claimed that she had never seen this before! $7.50 per pax.

WTH? The card is green and the words on the card suggested that I'm already 16 years old. In fact, I'm turning 20 in coming 2 months. Me and OSY LOLed.

Soon, the rest of the bunch came. I had Fish 'n' Fries ($12.68 with a 25% discount before GST and service charges, a total of 17% extra charges, U.P. $16.90). Not bad, but I feel that the fish can be better as compared to Fish 'n' Co. OSY had Fish 'n' Fries also. GK, KDJ and YLA had Honey Stung Crispy Chicken. Looked good too. Not sure about the real taste? LK (not lame king ok?) had 'Route 66'. It's a burger.

We chatted and joked along the way. Keep saying the power of the pass we have! Everything will be smooth and success... lol What a lame excuse!?

After which, went to nearby "Gammaphone" music + video store. KDJ wanted to buy a $200 earpiece. This means that he had to give up 6 similar outing le lor! LOL

Went to a skin mask shop. OSY was quoted $46 for a single front-side PSP masking job and $60++ for double sided PSP masking job. Quite expensive but the catch is you can really customize the design you want and the workmanship is good too. Then, GK and YLA left. Now only 4 of us taking care of each other. LOL

Ok, go straight into the movie. Not many people were in the theater yet we were given 'The Grand Cathay' theater! Ironic lor.

Movie wise, the story is not bad but the plot is easily predicted.
Graphic wise, not much of using the computers for sci-fi effects but the mock gun injuries and blood did make up for this. Also the gun effect is mocked-up to look very real too.
Sound wise, not much of impact too. Basically, throughout the movie, mostly comprises of the conversations and the gun sounds.

After the movie, we went separate way with KDJ driving alone. OSY told me again that he doesn't know the way out of the downtown! OMG, I told him this time round I'm not very pro le. But I told him can go by Grange Road, followed by Holland Road. However, I saw Bukit Timah Road signage and we decided to follow this road back to Bukit Batok.

Fall out at Bukit Batok and took a bus home~~ =p

Solving simultaneous equations using Matrix method

The previous topic I discussed was Maclaurin's Series. Now I'm going to discuss "solving simultaneous equations using Matrix method".

I know a lot of people would think solving simultaneous equations would be an easy task. There would be three methods, by subtracting, by substitution and by graphical method. I would not recommend subtracting, mainly because it needs some thinking before you execute operations on the equations. But once you have successfully executed operations on the equations correctly, you can get the answer straight away.

Substitution would be a better way for all of us to use. Just take one of the two equations and make one of the variables the subject and then substitute the subject variable with the expression you obtained. You'd also get the same answer.

The easy-to-see way is by graphical method. Plot the two lines and/or curves and get the intersection points and you also get the answer straight away. But the catch is it's troublesome whereby you need to get some values before you can plot.

But the above illustration only involves equations with two variables. How about equations with more than two variables? How to we solve it? Of course you can have substitution method, but that is very tedious. The only way we can solve this is through Matrix. That's why we learn Matrix!

I came across this question on a forum:

3x - y + 2z = 0
2x + y -4x = -9
x+ y + 3z = 6

By using the conventional subtracting method, we'd have

3x - y + 2z = 0 - (1)
2x + y -4x = -9 - (2)
x+ y + 3z = 6 - (3)

Add (1) to (2):
5x - 2z = -9
5x = -9 + 2z
x = (-9 + 2z)/5 - (4)

Add (1) to (3):
4x + 5z = 6 - (5)

Put (4) into (5):
4((-9 + 2z)/5) + 5z = 6
-36/5 + 8z/5 + 5z = 6
-36 + 8z + 25z = 30
33z = 66
z = 2

From here onwards, solve for x using (5) and then solve for y.

Substitution is even more for people who won't want to spend time thinking. Won't show example here.

In subsequent explanation, the matrix mentioned here refers to a standard 3 x 3 matrix.
For Matrix method, there are 3 sub types with first being idiot-proof method, which we know that you need to obtain an inverse of a matrix, multiplying it with another matrix in order to get the answer. But, it's tedious to get the inverse matrix by hand.

The second being Gaussian Elimination Method. This method is the simplest to be solved by hand and is the standard method for solving them on computers. Basically you just have to do operations on the row of numbers, called row echelon operations, starting with first row, then using it to subtract/add the other rows then put the new 'row numbers' into the row.

For example if you multiply the first number on the second row by 5, then subsequently you have to do the same for all numbers on the same row. The objective of row echelon operations is to reduce the matrix into

(1 a b)
(0 1 c)
(0 0 1)

The other method is Gauss-Jordan Elimination Method. This method you must reduce further the matrix into the reduced row echelon form using row echelon operations, but this time round take first row subtract/add the second row then subtract/add the third row before putting it back into the first row:

(1 0 0)
(0 1 0)
(0 0 1)

Note that, though this method looks like an extension of Gaussian Elimination Method, it simply display the answers simultaneously. Also, this method is used to find the inverse of a matrix (won't touch on this topic).

For Gaussian Elimination Method:

Write the augmented matrix.
(3 -1 2 | 0)
(2 1 4 | -9)
(1 1 3 | 6)

In row-echelon form,

1/3R1 -> R1 (1 -1/3 2/3 | 0)
R1 - 3/2R2 -> R2 (0 -5/2 8 | 27/2)
R1 - 3R3 -> R3 (0 -4 -7 | -18)

(1 -1/3 2/3 | 0)
-2/5R2 -> R2 (0 1 -16/5 | -27/5)
-8/5R2 + R3 -> R3 (0 0 -99/5 |-198/5)

x - 1/3y + 2/3z = 0 - (1)
y - 16/5z = -27/5 - (2)
-99/5z = -198/5 - (3)

From (3): z = 2 - (4)
Substitute (4) into (2)

y = -27/5 + 16/5 * 2
= 1 - (5)

Substitute (5) and (4) into (1):

x = 1/3 * 1 - 2/3 * 2
= -1

For Gauss-Jordan Elimination Method:
Write the augmented matrix.
(3 -1 2 | 0)
(2 1 4 | -9)
(1 1 3 | 6)

In row-echelon form,

1/3R1 -> R1 (1 -1/3 2/3 | 0)

Hence, x = -1, y = 1 and z = 2.

Isn't it a lot simpler and clearer?

1. Teaches you how to be zai in using UFO claw machine



Techniques shown in video clip #1:

* Targeting an object close to the pit and using one side of the claw to push the object sideways instead of picking it up.
* Other objects close to the pit can be pushed into each other to create a slide effect.
* Stuffed animals that are too large to simply slide into the pit should be gripped by the claw at a specific point, which is often the neck.
* Prizes that are inside boxes usually have an area on the box that is easily gripped by the claws. The figure shown in the video can only be properly picked up when it’s container is facing upright and the indentations on its side are targeted.



Technique shown in video clip #2:

* Certain types of UFO Catcher claws open and close in a way that is well suited for gripping cardboard boxes. If you encounter a machine with a claw like the one shown in the video, you can use it to pick up boxes by targeting the intentations or gaps in the box. The technique can even be used to pick up two boxes at once!

后来经接待人员讲没有厕所才没提升巴士服务，订25-30座位的巴士

全部房都是两张单人床

地点不错下，靠近金河（Sungei Wang）还有时代广场（Time Square）

加上搭地铁也是可以
所以还算OK
茨厂街就比较麻烦
因为在市区心脏地带，比较乱
不懂怎样去
剩下的走路都到啦！

然后叻，我在网上看到有人推荐谷中城的Annalakshmi：

昨天真的跑去吃了,有兩種選擇,Buffet或Ala Carte
我和男友選了buffet,滿不錯的,雖然食物選擇不多.
感覺好像在吃Banana leaf meal,當然還有其他食物,
如:炒飯,印度炒面,capati,prata,水果,特別的curry pok,甜品,pulut,resam,mango lassi,炸餅,咖哩等等.
真的很不錯,都很合我意.
付錢時是自願的,看你愛給多少,就多少.
我們付了RM30,他就另外向我們收取5% government tax,所以我們也再給一次RM1.50.
那裡的人真的很不錯,雖然他們都是voluntary的,但treat我們真的好像貴賓似.

也不知道谁偷的，难道鞋子会长脚自己跑路了？

回家后还给人家笑
隔天，这位仁兄的哥哥为打抱不平
跑去工厂找回鞋子

结果找到鞋子了
我个人听闻之后觉得这是恶作剧咯
整个故事的笑点是可能那个人打鼾很大声，人家不爽就恶整他一下。哈哈！

（雪蘭莪‧適耕莊）週二（1日）是愚人節，連老天爺也來愚弄凡人？

適耕莊A村一名農民聲稱，他週二（1日）早8時13分正在田裡工作時，看到天空出現2個太陽，他立刻以手機拍下來有關奇景。

該農夫說，當時陽光十分強烈，他正在田裡工作，就望上天空，結果發現2個一樣的太陽，同時發出刺眼的光芒。用肉眼看上去2個太陽，同樣令他的眼睛感到刺痛。

他說，2個太陽處在一個平行線上，有一段距離，天空也十分美麗。但2個太陽的現象一瞬間就消失了。

他說，除了他一人以外，當時也有很多的Ａ村村民都目睹這種難得一見的景象。

Northbound train services disrupted due to rail incident

SINGAPORE: Northbound train services from Yew Tee station to Bukit Gombak station were disrupted for about 50 minutes on Monday morning.

SMRT said a man was hit by a train at Choa Chu Kang station at 8am. He was subsequently pronounced dead by paramedics.

The police have classified the incident as unnatural death and investigations are ongoing.

A bus-bridging service was deployed between Yew Tee and Bukit Gombak stations as trains were made to turn around at Yew Tee, Bukit Gombak and Choa Chu Kang stations.

SMRT said train services resumed at 8.52am.

Passengers who were unable to complete their journeys due to the disruption can claim a full-fare refund from the Passenger Service Centre at any SMRT station.

All claims must be made within the next three working days.

Sharon点了港式河粉（虾跟蚝都好大，不错吃）+ 哈密瓜西米露（这个好甜）
YB点了澳门炒饭+龙眼杏仁+鸳鸯奶茶

Sharon拿出她的‘教科笔记本’
跟我们分享这位学生是何方神圣
哎呀，13岁的小孩子
难免会害羞不讲话咯

這是摩托羅拉公司招考新員工的測試題，其中的一題：


你開著一輛車，在一個暴風雨的晚上，你經過一個車站，有三個人正在等公共汽車。一個是快要死的老人，好可憐的! 一個是醫生，他曾救過你的命，是大恩人，你做夢都想報答他！還有一個女人(男人)，她(他)是那種你做夢都想娶(嫁)的人，也許錯過就再也 沒有了！
但是，你的車只能坐一個人，你會如何選擇呢？請解釋一下你的理由。


每一個人的回答，都有他自己的原因......
老人快要死了，你應該先救他，然而，每個老人最後都只能把死，作為他 們的終點站。你先讓那個醫生上車，因為他救過你，你認為這是個好機會報答他。同時，有些人認為可以在將來某個時候去報答他。但是，你一旦錯過了這個机會，你可能永遠不能遇到一個，讓你這麼心動的女人(男人)了。

Volvo B10M Mark Two Last Day

I know this bus served service no. 170 when I was communting between Johor Baru and Singapore. Then, there was no proper queue system and whenever the bus was here, people would squeeze and rush up. Once, I saw the crowds actually tore down the rubber strip between the doors. =.=

Today marks the end of the Volvo B10M Mark Two service in Singapore. The last buses will be retired from the roads today. Yesterday was unofficially the last day of operations, although there are no exact information as to whether they are in service on today itself, as their road tax expires today.

Volvo B10M Mark Two are brought in in 1989 originally as non-aircon buses. They were fitted with Duple Metsec and Alexander bodyworks. The buses were registered in sequence from SBS1696L to SBS1895D, a total of 200 units.

The bus had a good record in Singapore, and was once the likes of bus captains who find that the speed exceeds many other similar age models. The only bus lost in service is SBS1824J, which caught fire at Punggol around 2004. The rest of the buses lasted till their de-register date.Buses SBS1881T to SBS1895D will officially be de-registered tonight at 2359hrs (LTA), after which the chapter of Volvo B10M Mark II in Singapore and Asia as public bus will draw to a close.

假设我自行买票订房
更便宜咯
旅行社也要赚=.=
