Anyway, this post is the last post of the year 2007.
I must say 2007 is the year whereby I'm supposed to undergo major changes.
In the past, I used to be a student for 15 years (1 year in nursery, 2 years in kindergarden, 6 years in primary school, 4 years in secondary school and 2 years in junior college).
Now, you're telling me to go for National Service.
No books, no uniform, no teachers, no exams.
Change for the better? I don't know.
A lot of people say NS brings a lot of changes to a person who goes through it.
For me, during these 13 months of enlistment, my answer is yes and no.
Emotionally, I'm still the same old self. But in view of experience, I must say I gain quite a lot of experience. It's a bit like studying in social university. Learn how to deal with people. Learn how to solve problems using different methods. Learn how to live in this harsh world.
But never mind, I still left with about 50 weeks to ORD. That's about 350 days in equivalent. Looking forward to 14 December 2008. Much more important than today or tomorrow.
Today's nothing much. After completed my last OD for year 2007, went over to BBDC to top up my class 3 account! So scared that I couldn't book any of the practical lessons in January. I estimate about 5 more practical lessons to complete my whole driving lesson. 1 Feb is the TP test. Don't know will pass or not. LOL
After that, went to Raffles City to get donuts. Suddenly drool over it. LOL... They had introduced 3 new flavours recently. Not too bad.
Felt awkward on the way home. It isn't the time to go home! I should go home after the countdown then correct ah...
Oh ya, this section is very important, MUST BLOG!
1 week ago, had 'booked' Chuan to go out today. All the details have been ironed out the night before today. Until this morning I received a SMS saying that Chuan needs to work the whole day on the last day of year 2007!
The feeling is like you've studied very well for the exam and felt very confident after the exam but in the end you failed.
But never mind, as what my NET friend 奇幻海豚 said once: 看开点啦！Suddenly, I found this sentence so true. Even before this, I already knew actually we no need to vex for anything little thing and make life miserable. Now, just enjoying life as much as possible.
So I told him I'll have my own plan and carry on with his plan and wished him a happy new year ahead.
And thanked Yida for his christmas present.

這些一簇簇白色的小花，主要是生長在塑料垃圾桶、鞦韆橫杆、佈告板、凳子以及鐵柱子的表面，它們在不用泥土的情況下，就這樣攀附在實體平面上滋長，而且多不勝數，乍看之下這種天然植物真的很奇異。
經過仔細觀察所得，優曇婆羅花雖然是長有根和莖部的植物，可是並不像似一般的花朵，擁有艷麗的花瓣和青翠的綠葉，每朵優曇婆羅只有一個花蕊，直徑只有區區1毫分，形狀就如一粒小小的圓米飯，呈現淡淡的米白色，一旦久了以後就會逐漸變黃。
花莖細如蠶絲
此外，優曇婆羅的花莖細如蠶絲，長約3公分，隨風輕盈搖曳，至于根部則有如一個個小圓圈，非常堅韌地黏附在沒有土壤的任何物體表面，支撐整朵神奇小花。
根據記者向該俱樂部的守衛和辦事處行政人員查詢，他們並不知道隔壁草場的兒童游樂場地出現過優曇婆羅花，並且對于這項“新發現”也感到半信半疑，頻頻向記者追問這種奇花的來源。

Went out with Chee Chuan on Christmas Day after my OD on Christmas eve.
This was the only alternative way since he wanted to book me on 24th Dec when I happened to be busy on that day.
Ok, the moment I arrived at Clementi MRT station, the first thing I saw on the LED board was that train service from Woodlands to Kranji (towards Jurong East) was disrupted. My thought was that it must be something happened at Marsiling station.
Before that, SMSed Chee Chuan that just wait for me at the platform. But never expect that he didn't receive the SMS due to network jam. Heard from Chee Chuan that the lag started the previous night and it took a few hours for the SMS to reach to M1 users.
Billy Bombers vouchers can't be used on eve of public holidays and public holidays! No wonder they give out vouchers like free sauce...
Okay, since the north-south line confirm got lots of people stealing to take the trains, we decided to get off at City Hall. Decided to eat there. Decided to window shop there, though my legs were 'sour'. Decided to wait for Yida there.
Had lunch at Carl's Jr, what what BBQ chicken burger. Got 88 Q number, nice number lar~~ But I felt that the floor mat made me wanted to slip and fall rather than don't let me fall. But good thing was that drink was freeflow type. Inform me earlier mah! I could have bring a 1.5L bottle to fill up.
After that went to see some PMP Chee Chuan wanted to buy. Rich la~ Everything also want.
Saw a Creative Zen don't know what model, aiya... model name not important la, important is the price. 60GB for $499 Christmas special price. Then saw another samsung PMP, NEH~ the one with 2 speakers... for the deaf ones la... that one 4GB for $328. Don't know Chee Chuan in the end choose what la. Anyway, he not buying for me.
As usual Yida was late... haiz... Told him to go Orchard than to come City Hall find us, because we walked finish the whole City Hall liao.
Orchard also nothing to see la~ That part of Orchard Road in front of Takashimaya was closed to traffic, people can get onto the road. Messy. Walk here walk there.
Then went Cineleisure to walk around. Yida wanted to use his Adidas 10% voucher, bought a pair of shoes, but not my cup of tea. Hehe... Then went to buy Uzumaki ice cream with $1 off. Nice taste of blue berry.
X the road to Heeren, nothing to see there. Sien~
Had dinner at Cartel at PS... Ordered a deep fried meal meant to be shared by 3 people. Aiya, don't know what was it called la... Then ordered dessert, consisted of waffle, ice cream, peaches and banana... Ok la, divide out each person only need to pay $16.
Trivial matters:
1. Saw Chin Chin and a male friend at Suntec City Mall. Who is this male friend?
2. Saw Yin Boon and her female friend at Marina Square. Who is this female friend?
3. Saw MRT door kiap people 3 times. Aiyoh, not I want to say they deserve it, but hor these people hor always like to all together squeeze at the door nearest to escalator. Don't want to spread out to other doors. Out of the 24 doors on each train, they especially like this door, wa... enter by this door can tio 4D lottery meh? Then I saw the other doors, so many space out there.
4. =X Saw someone wearing smart 4. Yer, who would want to wear that on public holiday neh?
5. Please don't believe the following statement: "Had lunch at Carl's Junior, and saw a weird phenomenon took place, my fries moved by itself, WoWwWwW~ and formed a word like these"

重点是那个夜班害死我

但是千一晚还去乌节路赏灯饰，感染圣诞气氛
我都没得去，又有点气
好可惜
虽然不是说很重要的一件事
但是对我来讲亲属还是比较重要jek
又不知下次他们几时来了咯

见了海豚后
就是轮到我出国的时候啦
12月10日
一早就起身了
又要刷牙洗脸，又要收拾行李
因为前晚回到家很迟了
都没时间收拾
大伙儿大概8点多出发
不过又有状况发生——新加坡关卡出现讨人厌的车龙
不过好才通关快
好消息是大马关卡通关更加快:P
先到柔佛士乃(Senai)吃早餐
点了咖哩面 + 奶茶
够味，够辣，好吃！
再起程到古来(Kulai)接外婆
是想选南北大道北上云顶的
不小心跑过long古来收费站
没法咯，只好走到下一个出口处
在巴莪(Pagoh)休息站歇息
离古来有大约100km的路程
到达休息站时我直接喊屁股痛
都是啦，整车人而且后面坐4个人
我屁股都坐平掉咯
1点多抵达位于森美兰芙蓉(Seremban)大姑家
吃午饭
菜肴丰富下
有汤有菜有肉
吃到好饱
2.30再度出发
离云顶越来越近了
一切路程都很顺畅
只是在吉隆坡第二中环公路(KL's MRR2)塞车一下子
在半山打包炒饭上去酒店当作晚餐
到云顶已经5点了
云顶真的很冷
听说早上就下雨到现在
不过我都打算在住宿期间都呆在套房里
做宅男
原因：
1. 太幼龄——不能入赌场
2. 玩到显——不想去玩那些坐着冲的飞的
原来宅男不难当
而且蛮过瘾的
哈哈
12月11日
早餐是杯面，Koka的叻沙
不错吃
过后就一直呆在酒店里面
又看我猜又听歌又吃东西
一直翻找薯片、加椰角来吃
都已变成不折不扣饕子
没事做都得找东西做嘛
午餐skip掉直接出去吃晚饭
晚饭是煮炒，白饭是任拿任吃的
11人吃掉RM155
吃饱后又跑回去酒店
大人继续他们的赌场大搏杀
我继续当宅男
12月12日
check out日
把行李搬上车后，大人又继续他们最后搏杀
我就自行走马看花
eh，竟然给我找到大头贴的地方
不过拍一次要RM30
合折后还是贵过新加坡的
但是毕竟那里是度假胜地，是全马数一数二的旅游景点，什么东西都贵咯
可能以后走到显了，可以去那边拍
两点开车
途中可看到马路很斜
短短路程可是高度下降很多
还可以看到长长竖立的钢管混凝土的柱子在支撑整条马路
壮观下
驱车到半山吃饭
都是叫粉吃
过后一段2个半小时的车程就开始了
走旧路上霹雳美罗(Bidor)
一路上很多风景看
甘榜的原来风貌、市镇的大兴土木
都能看到
在美罗歇息
原来另一班车的人没有吃午饭
就叫云吞面跟芋角
我就吃肉干跟芋角
都好吃啦！
这时候发现车子的右前轮有一点扁扁的现象
就去轮胎店检查咯
原来是碰到螺丝！
还是很大的螺丝咧
几时弄的都不知道
幸好可以及时弄回
这种事情很普遍的
不好大惊小怪啦！
去到冷甲(Langkap)都整6点了
冲个凉
精神多了
晚餐去屋子前的酒楼解决
叫菜吃
当晚卡拉OK开场咯！
跟表姐大唱一番
点了一些男女对唱跟梁静茹的歌曲
哈哈
真是爽
又不用给钱喏
chuan，你看到这段不好羡慕咯！=p
又过一天了
12月13日
早餐去对面马路的小食档吃
原来这里的文化跟新加坡不同
你点了‘云吞面’，来的却没有云吞的
也没有汤、没有菜、没有叉烧肉
更加惨的是，如果你一时忘了加料
就只是一整盘面罢了咯
我观察到的另一点就是我觉得乡下（不是那种喝山水与外界隔绝的甘榜啦），如新村，小镇……他们的人民都很大方很客气的
跟他们讲话都可以畅所欲言
好像我在这便认识的朋友都很有趣，谈吐又不失幽默，而且什么都能聊
邻居们可以自由进出串门子
又不用大门深锁起来
自己打开大门自己进来
不像新加坡那样，进了屋子就锁上铁门关上大门，少了一份热情
下午出发到怡保玩
一路上也是很多风景看
霹雳最出名就是大马半岛的山脉
很壮观
去三宝洞那边
看乌龟+拜神
过后去怡保Parade shopping
那边超多鞋店
据说有几十间
哈哈
也是很多服装店
形形色色，应有尽有
什么office装、爆走装、最in装
都可以找到，看到眼花缭乱，走到我脚软掉
东西真的很便宜
潮流进度不输新加坡
新加坡的鞋子卖S$90以上
那些鞋子才卖RM80-90
是不是真货还是赝品就另当别论
RM1就能停车一整日
新加坡相信应该找不到了
新发现！
那边有一摊售卖整个用拉链缝制的包包
很得意下咯
不过没有问价钱
忘了拍照
过后我们驱车到附近的芽菜鸡食店吃芽菜鸡
基本上跟新加坡的海南鸡饭有些不同
怡保的选用甘榜鸡，鸡肉结实肥肉不多
新加坡的用农场鸡，可能打针或者是饲料加料的，所以鸡肉软软的
在怡保吃芽菜鸡可以选择叫白饭（不是鸡饭），或者是叫干河粉/河粉汤/咖哩河粉
我只能说那边的河粉棒极了
河粉超软，带一点QQ口感
再来就是豆芽
怡保的水都是源于山水
所以这里的豆芽都是粗粗的
然后咬下去脆脆的
很好吃
好吃到都能做成一道菜
吃饱后就回返冷甲了
怡保拥有4样东西而闻名
1. 芽菜鸡
2. 美女
3. 柚子
4. 山洞
其中有3样是自己亲眼看到的
我在怡保待一整天
发现到怡保的女生的皮肤都蛮白皙的
长相也不差，都蛮美的
看来他们讲的怡保生产美女之言是真的咯
睡觉前还听到老鼠的吱吱声
12月14日
早餐是外头打包回来
米粉/面 + 一点辣椒 = RM 1
不错吃
然后还有加椰角(RM 1)
椰桨饭好像RM 1.20
都是好吃啦！
午餐自己煮
说好去椰壳洞(Gua Tempurung)跋山涉水的
但是去到那边涉水的项目已经结束了
没关系，隔天再去
二姨丈带我们走小路去瀑布(Lata Kinjang)玩
还没到那边，在横越南北大道的天桥上就可见到瀑布了
美不胜收啦！
到达瀑布脚下就忙着拍照
拍到够本就上阶梯到吊桥那边继续拍
哈哈
过后到安顺跑下街
又拍照又买东西
晚餐又是在酒楼解决
那盘菜很有创意，一种菜两种做法
12月15日
一早就借小型巴士一齐去椰壳洞
在Air Kuning吃云吞面
原来小地方也有很好吃的东西
这云吞面我就觉得不错
当佐配的酿豆腐更是棒
超喜欢炸圆
重点是云吞面RM 1.80罢了又好吃
一路上大人讲大人的
小孩讲小孩
到椰壳洞，发现需要穿包鞋才能玩有水的
变到我只能走干地
一些就下水，大部分就走干地
没关系，看看里头的岩石也是不错
那个马来导游很pannai下，又讲马来话，有英语一下，又华语一下的
不错，而且什么岩石部分都能被讲成像某某东西酱
原来这个洞早在1959年就有人进入了
那时候因为联邦政府打压共产党势力
而那些共产党分子就躲起来不给政府捉
过后，大伙儿到督亚冷(Tanjung Tualang)小镇去吃那边的鲜虾
虾子是淡水的，肉质鲜甜
很好吃
傍晚就南下芙蓉
然后隔天16日就回来了
都是我亲手写的hor

往女子腋下那边擦然后又往女子额头擦汗
还很自然酱

文明的社会里还能看到酱不文明的举止
又是在旅游胜地wor

雨停了，行路！
行到瞭望塔那边
又落雨来，真是的
那时就快中午12点正
就犹豫不决要哪里吃饭
后来决定在subway解决午餐
吃饭后看到太阳出来
吃饱后看到下起雨来
后来决定返回怡风城
走走看看

话题可说是越聊越劲爆

然后又大条，又伸手进屁股反复抓抓爽爽下

他就有物色他的水瓶，结果徒劳无功
在那边碰见到WL
我都够低调，全程他都没看到我
哈哈！

一样可以把死气沉沉的一张照片
弄到靓靓D咯！
我跟海豚很投入地把照片填上公仔、星星、有趣的图案
谁比较pannai画画？都各有千秋咯
我直接拿内置的图案加上去
而海豚就自己亲手画pattern
诚意十足！
过后chuan的大头贴毒瘾发作
他讲又要再去拍wor
我跟海豚当然“随时奉陪”啦
过马路到位于heeren 4楼的大头贴店
据说是全新加坡首家大头贴店
怎么说都是鼻祖啦~
没有它就没大头贴好拍jor
又掏出10元钞票换金币
然后一个一个把金币喂进机器
看了都心痛
哈哈！
最近手头紧啦！
然后又重复刚才的动作
讲真的，不好连续拍两次咯
会显的
就酱，$20飞走咯！~
到位于5楼的Billy Bombers西餐厅共享晚餐
那个侍应生的英文我都听不懂的
很奇怪的发音
哎呀，自己的英文差就不好唱衰人家
认命咯
我点了'Ole Fish and Fries'，海豚也是点同样的另加柠檬茶
而chuan就作风大胆点——点了naked gun burger wor!都不知那个汉堡长成什么样子的
好才没有惊喜，不然还没吃就全城轰动jek
哈哈！
Billy Bombers所售卖的餐点茶点都是很大分量
因为它是一家美式连锁餐厅来的
西方人都是吃比较多喏
我都建议skip掉早午餐，空着肚子装满这个大份的晚餐
肯定值回那个价钱的喏！
吃完后，还有抽奖wor
配合圣诞节跟跨年新年节日所准备的
每人都有份
都是一些本店餐券来的
以后可以用的
过后我们一路行路到街上
街上车水马龙，人潮汹涌
人人争着跟圣诞树照相
顿时圣诞树变成偶像wor
我们也跟风，拼命照相
反正不用给钱的
当然拍到够本啦
海豚死命叫我们摆古怪的pose
又一下躲在人的抽象雕像下，又一下站在喷泉蹲着拍，拍出来都像在洗屁股喏
好心，我都不想成为笑柄啦
再来我们到这个俗称‘榴莲’的滨海艺术中心
也是终点
影相睇夜景
但我们带来的都不是专业相机
又没有三角架
所以照片没有几张可以见人的
哈哈
回家路上
大家都累
不过都可以看得出大家玩得好开心
一直笑都没有停过
这是我跟海豚第二次相见
上次是在2005年12月
只是聊了一个钟就离开了
这次就玩得比较久
一整天
还带她到处玩
总算有招待她咯

因为它是一家美式连锁餐厅来的
西方人都是吃比较多喏
我都建议skip掉早午餐，空着肚子装满这个大份的晚餐
肯定值回那个价钱的喏！

Even more stressed
This week is the worst week ever since 15 Dec 2006!
Firstly, is the implementation of a new routine system w.e.f. 2008. Nobody likes the change though.
Then, got people do stunt. Now still don't know what's the consequence. But one thing for sure, he can't do OD.
Subsequently, people keeping coming up and showing the powerful letter which disallow them to do OD.
Who suffer??? Is me liao lor...

First official lesson on driving an auto transmission car
Today is my very first lesson on driving auto transmission car. On the car exterior, you can't tell whether it is an auto transmission or the manual one. But once you got inside the car, there are 3 differences you can notice straight away.
1. The gear handle. Obviously...

It is a lot easier to drive the car, since you don't have to do the coordination of footwork. I liked the experience.

Nevertheless, I spent my dismount day visiting the exhibition at Expo. Today is the last day of the 4-day event, but still, I could see lots of people either vexing over which to buy or busy queuing up to buy their IT products.
Based on my previous experiences at computer/IT show, the best selling product is actually memory cards. Because almost every technology product requires memory card, e.g. mobile phone, digital camera, PSP etc.
The second and third best selling product could be computers and harddisks respectively, but could be interchangeable.
Few days before prior to the event, Bay asked me if I was interested to go down with him. I agreed, but in the end, he didn't want to go 'cause he said 'nothing to see there, very sian'...
Never mind, the next person I had in mind was Chee Chuan. So I smsed him at about noon time, asking him out. But he told me he had today's programmes lined-up already. So again, never mind.
Aiya, just go there myself la! Yes, alone.
Anyway, I got my sights on some of the harddisks. WD, Seagate and Maxtor. WD's prices were the most competitive. But the casing looked cheap and quite crippled physically looking as if it is going to break apart any time.
I like the Seagate's black with light orange combination. The combination is similar to Sony Ericsson's solution to Walkman series. It looks cool as the orange light glows when the harddisk is operating.
Not sure about Maxtor, but it has the newest line up. Since it has been bought over by Seagate, it, too, also offers 5-year warranty. It has the most expensive harddisk out there, a 20 buck heftier than the Seagate counterpart. So I asked the salesboy what is the difference between harddisks from Maxtor and Seagate. So the salesboy explained lots of things bla bla bla.
In the end I gotten one Maxtor 80GB harddisk for $109. Initial price was $129. LOL
Ironically, the MRT was even more crowded than the exhibition itself. Worse than any other MRT stations during any time of the day. Blame on the frequency of the trains. But partly because there were also other big events going on.

Most of the time I go out, confirm will bump into someone I know.
Like yesterday's trip with Chee Chuan to Novena Square, saw Sin Yi coincidentally.
Oh ya, we went there just to have dinner and to buy Chee Chuan's favourite 公仔. But the shop was closed until the end of the business hours stated on the board. Then there hang a notice which states that the owner went out for a while and will be back in a jiffy.
Maybe the definition for 'jiffy' differs from person to person, so shan't comment any further.
Then we went over to the animal shop to buy Chee Chuan's 物色已久的皮夹子. $59 plus 10% discount = $53.10. Not bad for the design. Very practical also.
After which we decided to head down to City Hall 走马看花. Great things on sale, but those shops were 宜看不宜进，宜进不宜买... Poor liao, don't have so much money to buy la~

Never trust this kind of business
Recently there are some discussions over some business models, such as Multi-level Marketing (MLM).
While MLM can remain legal, it is often difficult to distinguish it from those pyramid models or Ponzi schemes. The latter 2 are illegal as money is earned directly from the downlines not by selling products to the others.
Take for example, a pyramid model, whereby each member is required to recruit 3 downlines and each member is required to pay $1000 to join. Then he or she has to stay in the system for a period, during this period, he or she is not allow to withdraw.
The table below shows how all the money goes. In this table, the money collected is then divided by the total number of people. It's the most ideal case. But in reality, this is not the practice because the "cheater" would then use the money to distribute the promised high returns to those joined earlier so as the whole scam is not to be found out so easily and to convince them to invest more.
The system collapses for sure when the "cheater" has problems finding enough money as returns for the members or when the flow of money in slows down or when the "cheater" runs away with the money he has.
By simplify the expression for the amount of money each person gets for the nth level, it's not difficult to see that one cannot get back his $1000 unless n is big.
This model has its limit - no. of people joining in. The world population now stands at 6.6 billion. Connect this number to the equation above you'll get n = 20. It cannot go beyond 20 levels.
So I wonder why people can be easily fooled into the system. Never believe in earning while doing nothing or earn money quickly. Chinese has a saying 天下没有白吃的午餐, it means that we need to work in order to earn that money.

Trivial: Prior to this post, I actually had problems coming up an English word for the term 神奇. In the end, I had to ask for help. Finally I found a word for that term which is called extraordinary. Looks like my English is worse than expected.
The most extraordinary number is 142857.
It might look normal to you. But wait! Please continue to read. Why do I say it's the most extraordinary number leh?
Let's multiply it by a range of numbers, i.e. 1 to 6.
142857 X 1 = 142857
142857 X 2 = 285714
142857 X 3 = 428571
142857 X 4 = 571428
142857 X 5 = 714285
142857 X 6 = 857142
It's the same number, just that the digits are messed up.
How about multiply it with 7?
Surprisingly, 142857 X 7 gets you 999999!!!
Also,

Believe it or not, Honda W.O.W. stands for Wonderful Open-hearted Wagon, and this small minivan concept caters to Japan's dog-loving fraternity.
The W.O.W. has three rows of thin designer seats mounted on a wooden floor. Six people can ride in style or the two second-row seats can transform into a flexible dog cover. Honda has also built another (small) dog storage bin into the left side of the dashboard.
Slightly smaller than a Civic, the 157-inch W.O.W. has front and rear sliding doors on either side and a pair of big commercial-style doors at the back. Honda provided no engine details, but should the W.O.W. make it into production, it would likely have a 1.5-liter four.
An innovative canine brain receiver (CBR) allows dogs to pilot the W.O.W. by looking in the direction they want to drive. A brain-wave transponder reads the image the dog sees and transposes it over satellite imagery to plot a course using GPS signals. Honda claims the liability issues usually associated with this fledgling technology are mitigated by having a dog at the helm--canines can't be sued.
