Morning was almost dead tired. Fell asleep after came back from cemetery for 掃墓 and before lunch.
Now? Physically exhausted (not yet to the 'tired' status) but mentally there are a lot of things to do before I can finally go to sleep. Haiz, will blog about 清明節 over the weekend.

Work: Day 23 & 24 + OT and more OT
Yesterday morning there was track fault at Tanjong Pagar and this was likely the cause the crowd at Lakeside to build up. Aigoo.. Luckily still can tap out at Dhoby Ghaut before 7.45 am
Training for the whole day, too much information at one go until I can't take in and soul wandered into don't know where when I'm physically attending the lesson. Zzzz... Means need to catch up le.
Left office a bit late due to discussions and trainings related to work.
Today it was at site, 7 pm then left and took public transport home... Aigoo, reached Eunos 7.30 pm, boarded the train around 7.40 pm and reached lakeside 8.30 pm. Home already 8.45 pm

Went to this restaurant to jiak bak kut teh just now to celebrate sis belated birthday. Sis helped to buy the Korean banana milk! Yang!
Ordered 3 set meals + 1 serving of vegetables for 7 pax. Not too bad, but a bit salty, now thristy le shuo.

Work: Day 21 + to be consolidated into weekly post + sis birthday
This whole week is training week, so no need to go out to work. Actually as the days go by, I really find things are turning in for the good side. So hopefully it stays in this way bah!
The new staff said she knows quite a few people whom I also know myself! Eek! That would be good coz there would be common topics to talk to.
And to alleviate the pressure of writing at least a blog post everyday, have decided to publish a blog post whenever there is sufficient content to cover that post. It may be a weekly affair or once every a couple of days. On some occasions, it could be a post everyday, depending on whether there are interesting things which are worth noted into blog.
Don't wish to come to a point whereby I just merely describing what I did for that day - yes it's still fit into the definition of a blog, but it would be jinja boring!
Today is sis birthday. The usual practice is to get a simple decent birthday cake and celebrate it!

La kopi + RT + Korean noodles
Saturday night went la kopi with Bay, however he was sick... Aigoo. Nonetheless, he still ordered one egg cheese prata and one iced milo to eat. I had one egg cheese, one kosong and one iced milo instead.
This time round we got to know the job that each other does much better now, especially for Bay, because after 1 month into job, I could roughly paint a decent picture out ds.
Damage: $8.90 (total $10.90)
Perhaps next time drive and make a detour to tour around NTU? Keke...
Sunday morning went RT. Now RT system has changed from colour tags to first-in-first-out basis. Quite good leh I think, can reach earlier and leave earlier and there no longer discriminate people from their weak stations. Even overweight ones also join in and everybody goes through the motion together.
Omo, did I see YZ at RT?! *Shrieking out loud ds!*
By 9.30 am I'm already out of camp ds, jin yang. Then 10.30 am reach home liao, never have tried to reach home from Sunday morning RT so early before.

Work: Day 20 + 1 month at work
Today marks exactly 1 month at work.
Morning while checking the ezlink card, noticed that the records shown for taking morning bus cost me 26 cents, double of what I expected it to. With this in mind, I now very particular about the amount left in the card whenever I take the bus.
Fortunately, the deduction made to the card was just 13 cents. So somehow the system haywire and put 26 cents there. Phew~ If not hard to get refund for so many trips (積少成多效應).
Lunch time at staff cafeteria. Saw this person whom I kept seeing him in NTU last time, KY(?) Omo, he's working nearby or even same company?
Today went site again, finished work at 5 pm, then went home straight from site. Jin yang! PG went out with HH, HL and Sebastian they all for dinner at Ichiban Boshi @ Taka.
Then PG talked about HH... Firstly, HH SSF, say he enjoying his Starbucks drink at Wisma after setting the mid-term paper at NUS S17 Level 8. *Crazy ah? Why go all the way from Pasir Ris to NUS to set paper?* Then wanted someone to go over to pick him up QS ds.
Then upon meeting HH in person, PG exclaimed he is more chao ta now due to the outdoor canoeing CCA lor.
Then HH described the two 靈異事件 he got. One was from the camp, another one was during the CCA lesson at Bedok Reservoir. Aigoo... He also said that he wears Fred Perry every Friday. Aigoo, please la, wear that only to become 'feast' for students' eyes lor.
Got once during lessons there were two students using vulgar words. Then HH asked them to go toilet to 漱口! Super ridiculous but yet funny at the same time. Haha!
After the dinner, they went to Toms Palette @ Shaw Towers. Then while HH was so engrossed in his talking, the ice cream dripped onto his nn! Omo!!!!!!!!!! Omgakkk! Lastly, he dabao two pints of ice cream home.
Came across this video on forum. With only 2 letters pop up after the default common letters R, S, T, L, N, E and the H, M, D, O selected by the player didn't get him any more chances. He still could manage to guess the THING! Very 厲害 loh!

Work: Day 19 + most expensive chicken rice
Today went site to continue with work. Lunch at Tai Seng's Food Republic. I had the most expensive chicken rice ever - $5.80! Omo~ Initially just wanted a middle-sized portion one because I saw price tag there put $3.80 as the smallest portion, so middle sized one was probably 50 cents more expensive. But I didn't know was $2 more expensive! And to be honest, the portion was at most $3 when bought at Hawker! Really jin atas wor.
Didn't expect females to say prefer site to office wor... What an eye-opener to me by this comment.

Today Xiaomi released the Redmi Note! Same price as Redmi but size bigger, better processor and solves quite a bit of problems and flaws in the Redmi. I guess I would want to wait for this instead of Redmi lor.

Very sway today: morning left house already 6.53 am liao. Then knew can't alight at Dhoby Ghaut, decided to drop off at Clarke Quay to enjoy free ride. Bus ride to office was 22 cents instead of 13 cents.
Then another very unlucky thing happened: the temp staff card broke! Really is can think of 破財消災 le.

Work: Day 16 + McDonald's free 100,000 Egg McMuffins giveaway + first time to tracks
Woke up at 5.20 am to wash up and left house at 5.55 am to get the free egg McMuffins. 姑婆 also tagged along. By the time we reached the nearby McD, there were already a substantial queue formed up. This time round McD decided to go with the queue number system after the horrendous incident involving Hello Kitty dolls last year and everything went super smoothly without any argument between public and the McD staff. A lot of people went to re-queue to get more McMuffins.
PG also queuing up, got 2 McMuffins for himself. Then he went Chinatown and got 3! Total 5, some of them are for lunch... SSF, need so many for himself for what? 吃一個還好，吃兩個三個……那個味道會膩的說。
Went Dhoby Ghaut to work. But before actually took bus to work, purposely made a small detour to McD @ Plaza Sing, trying to get more McMuffins. Town outlets were a bit different because there were aunties giving out pamphlets informing public about the event and kept persuading people to drop by McD outlet to redeem the free breakfast. And the perky part was that the queue was so much shorter than the first time - didn't have to wait for than 5 mins to get one. :) Of course some people just passed by without any interest in this free breakfast giveaway event. The situation was totally different from heartland outlets where those kiasu aunties and those kids woke up super early (during their holiday btw) to queue up for this SSF.
After got another McMuffin, proceeded to go to another outlet @ Parklane. Again, the queue was so short that I got the third McMuffin in less than 1 min of wait. The manager was strict about taking more than 1 McMuffin per person. Aigogooo, claimed 3 McMuffins, 今天是個很喜洋洋的一天！:D
Ate one and gave another to WK. The last one was splitted into two and shared between Raymond and me. 如果吃兩三個真的會膩喔！
Then went site. Morning can't do anything as there was power trip.
Suddenly, got people (ok, it's Barry) came over and introduced himself to me when I didn't meet him before!!! News definitely spread fast wor. OMGAKKK!

MP3 player Clip Zip served me well. Just now went to flash the Rockbox firmware to receive more functionalities. But Rockbox don't know do what, didn't install my theme and font. As such, the player couldn't display the East Asian characters. After a few unsuccessful tries, I gave up and restore back the original firmware. The only gripe with the Clip Zip is the slight offset of display and weird remaining battery juice display.

很久沒吃用maggi麵來炒的炒麵了，好好吃的說～～
Yesterday evening went out to see the light installations aka i Light 2014 around Marina area. Jam at Keppel Road which should be free on weekend evenings. Turned out that there were road works going on! Aigoo, maybe take MCE would be faster lor.
Astonishing to see the amount of people at that time, though I already expected there would be more people during weekends, but I didn't expect so many people around ds.

I feel that the year 2012 one is better than this year's one. Reached home already 11 plus pm. Legs were feeling exhausted!
For the past few days have been looking at options for a small-sized mp3 player with FM radio. *Put aside the plan to get Redmi for now* The J3 is too big to put in jeans pocket and cause a lot of inconveniences plus I don't want to dirty (if applicable) it at work. It's ok if I just bring it to office, but site is aigoo so bx - jinja dusty. If don't bring J3, I can rely on phone which is no problem for me. But the issue here is that I want to listen to FM radio which the Note 3 doesn't support!
One alternative is to use phone for mp3 and the Sony walkman FM receiver for FM radio. But it would be inconvenient too as I need to unplug and plug in earphones to change devices. So decided not to go for this option.
Another alternative is to get a much smaller-sized mp3 player. Thought of iPod nano. But the need to sync with iTunes also a bit mafan and it's ex! Other options include Sandisk Sansa, Creative ones, etc.
At the end, I only left with Clip Zip and Clip Sport.
Decided to go for Clip Zip because although I prefer the larger and higher resolution (128x128) display on the sport and gian the long playback hours, Zip is smaller in size and is $15 cheaper than Sport lor. In addition, read from the review that Sport has certain issues that users need to know, e.g. data management is separate for internal device memory and external memory card. Meaning, if I choose a song to be played, I can only change to another one either in internal or external memory and not from the whole list of both combined.
Contacted the seller at 3 pm and straight away met the seller one hour later. Saggy because the seller said the dealing location today is Tiong Bahru and not Clementi... Aigoo. Sag.
Went daiso to get pouches to keep my mp3 player when at work and also the phone when going to FCC, don't want them to get dirtied and keep scratches minimum.
Heng ah, the moment I reached home from outside, it started to pour!

Another alternative is to get a much smaller-sized mp3 player. Thought of iPod nano. But the need to sync with iTunes also a bit mafan and it's ex! Other options include Sandisk Sansa, Creative ones, etc.
At the end, I only left with Clip Zip and Clip Sport.
Decided to go for Clip Zip because although I prefer the larger and higher resolution (128x128) display on the sport and gian the long playback hours, Zip is smaller in size and is $15 cheaper than Sport lor. In addition, read from the review that Sport has certain issues that users need to know, e.g. data management is separate for internal device memory and external memory card. Meaning, if I choose a song to be played, I can only change to another one either in internal or external memory and not from the whole list of both combined.
Contacted the seller at 3 pm and straight away met the seller one hour later. Saggy because the seller said the dealing location today is Tiong Bahru and not Clementi... Aigoo. Sag.
Went daiso to get pouches to keep my mp3 player when at work and also the phone when going to FCC, don't want them to get dirtied and keep scratches minimum.
