女: BMW代表be my wife嘛
CJ: 买纸的咯，然后戒指放在里面，烧完料戒指就出现，够浪漫啦！
结果我们笑到没有力，我还飙泪！

动物园同性恋企鹅偷蛋育子女

据英国《每日邮报》报道，中国哈尔滨一家动物园有一对同性恋企鹅，为了过把“父母瘾”，竟然从一对异性恋企鹅那里偷蛋，而且不止一次。一气之下，管理员在上个月将这对同性恋企鹅与其他企鹅隔离开来。不料，此举遭到参观者的抗议，园方最近决定把其他企鹅下的蛋交给它们孵。
　　
这两只同性恋企鹅的偷盗过程很有意思：它们先是用嘴把石头扔到企鹅夫妇的脚上，待企鹅夫妇把脚挪开，它们趁机将人家的蛋偷走。管理员发现这种骗术后，将这对3岁的同性恋企鹅从企鹅大家庭中驱逐出去，防止它们在孵化季扰乱其他企鹅的正常生活秩序。

哈尔滨南极乐园的管理员解释说，尽管它们是同性恋伴侣，本能上却想成为父亲，“对雄性成年企鹅而言，其中一个重要责任就是照看这些蛋。虽然从生物学角度来看这对夫妇不会产蛋，它们的本能愿望依然存在。我们必须把它们分开，否则整个企鹅群在孵蛋时就会受到骚扰。当然，这不是歧视。”

但参观者们表示，这样对待这两只企鹅是不公平的，园方不应该剥夺它们成为替代母亲的权利。园方接受了参观者们的建议，将其他孵蛋能力很差的企鹅生下的2只蛋交给这对同性恋企鹅孵。现在，这对企鹅证明它们是园中动物中的最佳父母。

动物界有许多同性恋事例，但是这对同性恋企鹅还是引起了参观者的注意。德国一家动物园曾试图让一群雄性同性恋企鹅和瑞典一家动物园的雌企鹅交配，结果引起同性恋组织的抗议。这些企鹅也拒绝“变身”，对想要成为它们“配偶”的雌企鹅不感兴趣。于是，他们不得不放弃这个计划。2002年，纽约一家动物园的一对企鹅在一起8年没有产蛋，管理员发现它们都是雌性企鹅。

BlackOut!

Just now there was a blackout which lasted for about 2 hours. The whole cluster of blocks was blackout. Even the street lamps were not spared. But the lucky thing was that my block was not affected!

The electricity returned at about 9.30pm.

Latest update! Blackout again around 10.30pm... Looks like they gave them 1 hr to bathe before 'cutting the supply' again. LOL~ By 11pm it was partially restored. By 12am, still the same, only Blk 441, 443, 445, 447 and the street lamps were still on blackout.

A couple of photos. Seriously N73 cannot take night pictures, it will turn out reddish! Even the 6110 Navigator performed better. =.=

Tour around Singapore

Yesterday was a tiring day. Let me explain why...

1. Went Chinese Garden MRT station to get ICA application form from Peng Guan
2. Interview for the stocktaking position at TTSH
3. Interview for JTC admin position at Ngee Ann City
4. Went to look for photocopying shop to photostat my 'A', 'O' and NS transcript for the ICA temp job position near ICA there
5. Went City Hall's Funan to find Yong Sheng
6. Walked to the Chevrons House for another interview
7. Went home first, then went out to Tiong Bahru Plaza for another interview again
8. Then walked to Chinatown where outing held

1. 1st interview for the stocktaking job. 给他炸到没有话讲 =.= 1st thing he asked me to tell him more about me. As I didn't know what to say to him, I suggested to him why not you ask some questions, I'll answer to them. Then he replied "that's why I'm asking you to tell me more about you" Super =.=!!

2. 2nd interview for the JTC job. I have hopes for this one! Hope I can get in! Though the pay is not very fantastic, but it's the JTC that I like! Working location is near to my home also. Keep my fingers crossed.

3. ICA. Heng, I managed to find a hardware shop which also provides photostat services, if not my trip to Lavender was wasted. Dropped the application form then I zao!

4. City Hall chatting session with YS. LOL~ Seems like he is doing quite well lor. Also started to ask Jordan out in the evening.

5. 3rd interview for admin job. Nothing much. Just that I got a conclusion: everybody seems interested in my vocation. =.=

6. Went out to Tiong Bahru Plaza with Peng Guan - to interview for an 'admin executive' job. 2 interviewers per interviewee... LOL The funny thing was asked me to introduce myself and my family in mandarin. The most shocking part was that they called me half an hour later, more-or-less confirming me liao! Once confirmed, start work tomorrow. So fast?! I haven't had the time to consider about it. So I asked can put me in holding list first, before I give an answer.

7. Outing at Chinatown. Peng Guan's idea for this. Jordan quitted his job as he don't like it, another big news for the day. After dinner we went touring the night market there. Walao, so many stalls selling Taiwanese mochi! Is this in Singapore or Taiwan??? Jordan also tricked into buying 2kg of mochi which could cost him $36! Heng, we pulled him off in time. And that Peng Guan finally show his true colours liao... 狐狸终于露出狐狸尾！Went around the stalls to take advantage of the free samples baituo... 鼠贼过街... Thought his skill is so 登峰造极, but apparently he almost 被缠身 and I thought he 脱不料身. But ta da! He made it! 有惊无险. But 食髓知味, got the 1st time, there's always 2nd time de lor. And he's high over it, 良心给狗吃掉料！Baituo, my appointment as OIC 差不多要退位让贤liao. Then had ice cream craze at McD... Only stupid ones would go for the ice cream at the night market. $2 vs 70c! OMG!

Morning visit my camp to attend to some matters, then at the same time to visit my superiors, colleagues and friends there. By the time I reached the hill, it's already almost 1.30pm.

Chatted with tang tang tang tang~ and quek quek, about that matter I attended to and citizenship. OMG, enough of that incident la... And I repeat myself again, the reason I don't take up the pink IC is due to unforeseen circumstances. Kim kena "char" by the beloved "ajnos". Heng, it's just superficial wound. What a day la!

Then went Kelly Services to submit my application for jobs together with Peng Guan. Then head down to Redhill to recce for a warehouse sale job. There, I met up PG's friends, Reason and Zhi Wei... LOL

The lady, named Amy, interviewed us was funny. What boyfriends do we have??!! And what see girls during BMT??!! Baituo...

Ponyo On The Cliff By The Sea 悬崖上的波儿 + Little Nyonya 小娘惹

This morning received 2 calls from tang tang tang tang~~
Chatted a bit, but the main point was to settle my personal thing.
Actually it's a small thing. It's a total misunderstanding!!! Do they have to make a big fuss out of it? Just explain everything it's ok liao.

A really nice and simple movie. From the big Japanese director 宮崎 駿.

I came across his work when I was in Malaysia 3 years ago. My cousin played the Spirited Away (千与千寻) VCD. That's how I know him.

This movie depicts the love between a 5-year-old boy and a mermaid (who later became a normal human) called Ponyo. It also emphasises kinship. No matter how the things might turn out, one must face it optimisstically.

Throughout the flim, the director also stress on the damage done to our Earth by us. This was brought across during Spirited Away too. No computer aid was used to make the movie, all images were hand drawn.

Overall, it was a nice and heartwarming movie.

Also, Little Nyonya had its ending today. Ending was only ok ok for me.

The biggest no-link was 陶姨！Survived for 4 generations and still alive and kicking?! Even longer than 月娘... Where's the logic behind it?

Also they didn't account Paul and 刘一刀. I would like to see how the Huangs doing after they got back the house. Apparently, they didn't account this properly also. What happened to 安琪 after her Ma Ma died?

But overall, it's a good show. =)

树上牧羊

山羊们居然爬上了树，真的令人难以置信。

照片上类似橡胶树的ARGAN树产于摩洛哥，结出橄榄状的果实，可以榨出ARGAN油。所以当地人把羊群赶上树，让羊吃树上的果子。然后他们就等着羊儿排便。

之后他们把羊粪收集到一起，除去粪土，将里面的果子榨出ARGAN油。ARGAN油可用以按摩，食用和催情。真奇怪，难道这种果实一定要经过羊肚子消化一下，才能榨出有效果的ARGAN油么？

Japanese Bicycle Parking Machine

According to Danny Choo, the eco-friendly bicycle is the main form of transport in Japan. With so many bicycles roaming the streets, parking has understandably become a concern.

To address this problem in heavy traffic areas such as parks, Giken has created this unique automated bicycle parking system. Able to store up to 144 bicycles underground, this machine is also able to park and retrieve the vehicles in under 10 seconds for 2,600 yen/S$41.30 a month (1,300 yen/S$20.60 for students).



If only parking our cars could be just as easy...

Mahjong + Countdown

1st post of 2009! But content is 31 Dec 2008.

Wish everybody a happy new year!

Had a mahjong session with SY, SY's BF and PH. Learnt quite a lot from them. LOL... at the same time, revive my rusty brain on mahjong. SY's BF was so high throughout the session. Had a quick dinner at Boon Lay before heading down to Vivo.

*Woah! Didn't know that the stretch of road outside Boon Lay Place was closed!

Reached Vivocity slightly later than 9pm. Went window shopping with YS a bit. Saw Vincent but didn't greet each other. It was not until 10pm then we entered the Amphitheatre. Heng, I got YS to ask the security officer there whether we could enter the premise by express lane as we had the tickets on hand. Other members of public had to queue up for the tickets there.

Fortunately, there're still available seats. A little bit late we won't be able to find a seat to sit down liao. Not an ideal one, but can see something... LOL Saw PG and his friend Ryan at the centre lot. LOL... The show started at 10.30pm, but I don't know who's the so-called coordinator. =.=

Basically they had this project superband show + 心花娘惹PK赛. What's wrong with the superband show? I guess their publicity was not high enough thru out the year, that's why they were asked to perform almost 50% of the show. Would prefer real bands from Taiwan like Mayday to come down Vivo and perform la! 欧萱 had the loudest cheers for her among the 艺人 there. And that 莫小玲 actions so much, but the camera didn't shoot her. LOL

The strange thing was that last train left City Hall at 2am, yet there were no feeder bus liao. =.=!!!!
