Went out with PG today to Bridge Cafe for truffles fries. Cravings satisfied!

After that, went to Tanjong Pagar area to search for new eateries place. Chanced upon this Korean restaurant called Koko Rooloo along Tanjong Pagar Road. Had their 치즈 떡볶이 ($12) , 비빔밥 ($10), 어묵 라면 ($8).

2014-08-25 Monday
Nothing much at work, except for the bad news of going meeting everyday aigoo... Managed to take leave. 2 Jan is yang!!!

More yang is that HL totally bx over the Bangkok trip! Told her 'I yang! Can take leave from 21-25 Nov', she went on and said '您哪裡癢' v bx. It got worse by PG's 非常有畫面感的 'ajm scratched his back' 這個畫面太惡我不敢看更不敢想! Can only stay there and shriek out!!!

HL almost bqt Sebastian over the late response when I already told boss... Bx...

The whole trip will last from 27 Nov till 1 Dec, a total of 5 days 4 nights. Total fare air tickets and hotel only $426. Watermark hotel 4 stars seem very good deal ds. Room jin big ds. The couple very bx by saying me and PG taking one queen sized or twin single beds ds. Aigoo, 他們要上演去年AJM在香港跟我擠一張床, I think it's a very bx experience lor. But nonetheless, It looks like it would be a pleasant trip to me ds.

HL went total meltdown once she thinks of the trip. First she said she spent like $100 per day! Macam living like a queen like that ssf. Then the couple went on to say the cafés in Thailand doesn't seem so good. On the contrary their coffee tastes much better.

HL was exclaiming over the movie seat where we would be treated like a king and queen ds. But mula how much jek... Message is a must!!!! Keke~~ Those buffet and the authentic Thai food just made me feel so happy about that!

Then HL carried on saying and saying. The more she say the more she's exposed to the bx virus ds. Lol...



2014-08-26 Tuesday
Morning rain is a bit saggy but luckily it didn't last whole day. Heng boss came and save me in the meeting. If not... 罵到認不出媽媽的說。

Lunch with Joa and Barry. Me and Joa had dried yong tau foo ($4.50). Joa said the this stall's yong tau foo is special but may not fit in nicely to her taste bud. Aigoo, that's the nearest you can have it liao lo.

Then went to NTUC. Joa wanted to buy teh for herself. I bought pepero coz saw they selling melon flavoured one, $2.95.

Towards the evening, Barry and Joa were talking about sushi bar. Yep, that one at Far East tiagong is quite nice, but I haven't go try before. Then Joa mentioned Koh Grill, Barry also said quite nice. Then I chup ji kar in by saying, the Shiok Maki really nice! Then Joa already starting to go into bx mode. I told her can make reservation ds. Joa didn't know can reserve ds, so she asked me to reserve for her and her ahlao. At the end I managed to reserve! She totally 喜出望外，完全喜洋洋mode and said will buy 香港老婆餅 for me. Yang! :)



2014-08-27 Wednesday
Luckily I no need to go meeting today, but still the amount of work is T.T... I'm beginning to feel very tired and reluctant to continue at times.

Lunch with WK I think both of us were ranting about work lol. But I think I suffered more than him though I'm newer. Can't imagine the upcoming 12 system setups coz now currently those already running also giving me lots of problem :( And no experts to help me on the spot :(

Then went to attend course at Little India. Pra wasn't there I think he still at Kranji doing site work. In the end only GD and me went lor baituo... So meaning what, I'm alone doing installation works here?! Omo~~ *Shouting for help!* By 3 pm everything had ended and I went Raffles City to redeem the Chocoro from St. Marc Cafe then home. Aigoo...

Looks like mum phone's battery problem has been solved, will monitor it. I don't know what's happening but to have Android process running and taking up 76% of the battery use is very unusual. Did a few restart and disabled most of the sync settings, I'm expecting it to return to the normal battery draining characteristics.

Unbox!!! The new powerbank from Xiaomi performs quite well, it's a complement to the Yoobao I have but I'm going to put it at office-work use rather than personal use. Now it can have an input current of 2A so meaning charging time would be shorter le!

Evening WX WhatsApped saying he still at Genting and his phone was giving him lots of battery problem. In just 3 hours, the battery already dropped 40%!!! He said this happens when the phone is in roaming. Tried to restart it a few times and the problem didn't go away, I don't know what's going on.

Have to go for early rest. Next day is super long and sian day... 5 am need to be at Bugis for testing. OMG!!! I don't know how long can I last ds...



2014-08-28 Thursday
Longest working day for me. Woke up at 4.30 am to go Bugis, then realised that the test was supposed to be conducted at 7 am. Aigoo, could have slept longer ds.

Then meetings in morning and afternoon. After the second meeting, I was almost batt flat. MT and they all went Tiramisu Hero for hi-tea jinja nice lor. I jelly ds.

Worked worked worked until 10 pm then left office. It was drizzling outside. What's wrong with the weather nowadays?! But don't care, cooling can liao! Very tired...



2014-08-29 Friday
For once, I'm so grateful that I do not need to attend the meeting. Phew! I can concentrate on other stuff.

Asked Barry to come fetch me to go lunch after his meeting. But suddenly Pra appeared in office so I went lunch with him instead.

Left office at 6.30 pm with KK. Aigoo, it began to drizzle and when I near home, it was pouring so heavily that my shoes kena the water. Soggy!

Short meet up with PG

Was so reluctant to send email out until PG said to meet at town in afternoon. Only then I started to panic. In the end, only went out at 3.10 pm. Super late liao! Reached City Hall already 4.05 pm. But I didn't have strong craving to go out today ds.

First stop was Podi. This is my second time there liao, but this time round I'm going to try their cakes. Taking advantage of the chilled cake voucher, I opt for the Chocolate Rum Cake ($5.80)

Next, we went over to The Pizza Place, also taking advantage of the vouchers (3x $5 vouchers). Ordered their Cheesy Wedges ($6.80) and Thai Curry Chicken Baked Rice ($13.80) at first. Then they said no stock for the Thai baked rice so we changed to Chicken & Mushroom Baked Rice ($12.80) instead.

Then was instagraming throughout, PG saw this newly opened Bridge cafe @ Seah Street where it's just nearby only. But was total sag coz it was closed liao!

Then we went to Shine Korea before heading to the alternative choice - McD. Bought JJM ($4.90) and Korean snack ($2.30) there. JJM was a real steal! But left with one month expiry lor. PG suddenly had craving for the Korean Tteokbokki snack ($2.70) so without a single thought, he just grabbed one packet off the shelf.

Went McD to continue eating. Actually it's the last stop for us liao. Haha! As I didn't login to Wireless@SG for a long long time (I estimate got at least 4 years liao), I almost forgot what's my credentials le. After a lot of failed attempts, finally I can enter the network and enjoy free WiFi. Acutally not bad ds.

Sunday is a chill day. Even PG find the streets a bit 冷清 today. Of course lo, I myself would want to stay at home if possible ds.

Talked about taking leave. How should I maximise my yang-ness from that 12 days leave + 2 days off leh?

Week 34 review

2014-08-18 Monday
Just when me, Joa and Barry were about to leave office, then suddenly a newcomer appeared right in front of us. Joa suddenly was like the admin-in-charge and she cleared the table behind me. Sag! I want that table for myself for doing work please baituo lor.

On our way there, Joa talked about she and her bf went to the site to see for their future house. Aigoo, Boon Keng is definitely a good location! But the house can be more expensive lor. Baryy also looking at Boon Keng area. 全部都很有錢啊！喜歡就好……

Joa said she can't tahan her bf at times. Her logic is buy house is to stay there for good. Not stay 2 days and moved to girl's maiden home to stay for another 2 days, then move to guy's maiden home to stay for the remaining 3 days. QS meh?!

About 4 room flat, Joa said it's small and she prefers 5 room one. But if a couple has no kid, I think 4 room is pretty good too.

Meeting was ok. Quite smooth... until the end... where I got total sag, supposed to be done in less than 15 mins taking those logs, took me almost 1 hour! Sag sag sag! Joa and Barry can't wait and they left first liao.

Came back to send some urgent mails before I went for lunch - alone. Then conitnued to work with other stuff. Talked to the new guy for a while and briefly explain to him what me, Barry and Joa do. Worked until quite late, boss, big boss and big big boss still around at 8 pm aigoo. And boss told me don't stay too late, but the fact is I need to stay late to take cab so that I can claim mah and also I need to clear my work too.

Finally left office at 9.30 pm. Boarded a cab at 9.35 pm and then already home by 9.50 pm hohoho!


2014-08-19 Tuesday
Bad day.

Morning it started to rain while I was walking halfway. Meeting started late and didn't went as what I planned. Finally it ended very late - almost 2 pm too. Luckily I made use of the time to go collect as many logs as I can.

Don't want to argue with that taxi uncle. I already said can turn right and then turn right to make a complete U-turn. You kept insisting that you know the rules and know when to turn when not to turn, as if you are very pro like that, but you have no common sense at all! What if people who came from PIE (Changi side) and want to turn into MacPherson Road? Have to turn right after the exit slip road right? Somemore LTA put up an arrowed signage saying MacPherson Road, it means can turn what. You think LTA very free put sign there for fun meh? Nobody said traffic coming from MacPherson cannot turn back to MacPherson Road/PIE (Changi).

In the end, you drove towards the Upper Serangoon (the 2nd exit) and I saw that you some sort realised that you can make a right turn (again with an arrowed signage as the first one) but then it was too late and I ended up on expressway =.= Wasted my time and money on that. I just went quiet and don't want to talk and argue with that uncle.

I think LTA could further improve the signage. By all means, the road signs at this SG's most complicated traffic junction are already very logically placed, but maybe could make some signages bigger so people could see clearly.

*Hmm, that gossip may be true after all. Seeing the pattern also will know don't want to touch on software de la.

Went Pastamania @ Nex with MT for lunch. Lunch & high tea promotion $12.90 inclusive of a main dish, garlic bread, choice of two soup options and a drink. Not bad ds. But personally I still don't quite like the quality of their food. Could be further improved. Forgot to take photo! Anyway, that's about food. Didn't know she is also FCH wor! Aigoo, I thought she 2nd upper nia. But more shocking was that she got GPA 5.0 for the first sem! 哇！很厲害讀書涅！

Joa asked me to help her buy Starbucks to pass to MT. At first I thought she wanted to treat MT because we missed the opportunity to meet up. After that I realised is for her ah lao one. Aigoo, in whatsapp she jokingly said write 'WITH LOVE' on the cup, which I took in as her request for the drink lo.

Another sag thing, I should have brought the Starbucks card ds! Aigoo, lost one cup count!

MT said her new working place is at Corporation Road. Shriek! That's so near to my home! When can I change job neh? The amount of workload was :( Change to work somewhere near to my house would be good in future...

Joa hurried me to go back office coz everybody is waiting for me to celebrate Charlie's birthday. Aigoo, GD ssf, firstly he doesn't seem to know about selfie function on cameraphone. Secondly, he thought Raymond is Charlie's wife! SSF~ MCS? JM kept on taking photos, she's the real photographer here!


Gave Barry an overview on what I am doing now. His face and mood totally changed after my briefing. Mula if he regret come into my team leh? Haha! 話說回來，我的心酸誰人知？唉……

Continued to work work work until 10.30 pm then left office. Was so tired liao.

The only saving grace was that I saw my Xiaomi purchase got tracking number liao and what made me more xyy is the Taobao order reached SG liao. Not bad wor. Sis was shrieking out over iPhone casing, she said the colourful one isvery very nice while the red isn't as nice. But still she said both are nice la. On the other hand, the USB monitoring device is very useful! Have yet the time to test out the LG cable, asked bro to try out for me le shuo.

The new colleague went with us to the meeting today, hopefully it does not turn him away. Haha, then lunch at Nex with GD, Eric, Barry, WK, Joa and him.

Came back and boss talked about taking and clearing leave between September and December. I wanted to take some ds, but I don't think I could save it to next year le. Have to wait for HL's schedule ds. Haiz...

Yang when I saw the parcel box from Xiaomi. 2x earphones, 2x 5200 mAh powerbanks and 2x 10400 mAh powerbanks. Quite heavy at 1.209 kg wor.... But anyway good to see that the delivery is fast. Haven't start to use the powerbank yet as I need to get a case for it. 非常xyy的說！


2014-08-21 Thursday
Boss accompanied to the meeting. The new colleague called Ko Ko didn't come coz I don't want to scare him with the stuff lol. Barry got SIC course also didn't come.

Managed to clear off quite a bit of stuff, 感覺輕了少許。

Late lunch at the hawker centre behind office. PG was shrieking and sagging because his initial plan of visiting Whale & Cloud cafe with Nicholas had ruined - Nicholas went to ask HH out. Omo~ 會完全冷感去…… Heng I didn't say I want take leave and go. PG said Nicholas 很毒, go cafe liao then go home to mug, leaving him and HH behind Aigoo... 真的是跟ah lao度過美好的下午喔！In the end, they three went to find the pop-up, PG was so saggy coz he didn't manage to find the cafe and it rained! Aigoo...

Felt quite frustrated - can't do claim on the overseas call. $83.67 leh! Initially I already thought I cannot claim, then asked liao say take the bill then say. I also got no choice but to use own mobile phone to make call to Spain lo. You know cannot claim then say it out la, don't make it grey area. 結果這坨屎自己吃！Aigoo... Jin sad. Take it as an expensive lesson learnt.

Then also discovered I didn't submit the travel claim! No wonder I didn't get my money! I still thinking of transferring some money over to POSB to earn more interest. But now these two incidents make me feel very sian.

The late go off also add on to the bad situation. 怎麼感覺工作太多了，我又不是那種非‘今日事今日畢’不可之人，但真的太多太多東西做了。

Not a very good day also. But it's soooo much better than Tuesday IMO. I'll pick today over Tuesday anytime.

Ok, hearty time, PG leaked out that HH gave Nicholas the spare key to his hostel! Omo! It's now up to anyone's imagination what they two can do in that hostel!!! Even HL was omg-ing when I forwarded the info to her in the group convo between us! Eeeek!

Saw this photo, someone shit at the grassland at JE MRT there! Omo! Though doesn't dirty the pavement and is good for fertilising the grass, but it's not very good to the environement as it will invite flies and what-not and what a sight lor! Eeeeewww!

Conclusion: Not a good week for me.

Boss say I may move on to do 'other tasks'. I wonder what are the 'other tasks' he talking about, honestly being able to stay in office, i.e. no need to wear boots. 不是一件好事嗎？

Then HL very bx over Taiwan's trip kept on discussing the dates and its feasibility after I shared the Cathay promotion 2 days ago. WQBX ds...

Morning went meeting with Joa, Barry and Ko Ko. OK la, that one passed rather smoothly. Went Rokeby for lunch as recommended by Joa.

Had their Mushroom Aglio Olio ($14.90). Opt for mild spiciness level. On first impression, I thought they gave the wrong serving, the plate was so big until the food looks small servings.

Joa had their signature Cabonara Spaghetti ($15.90) while Barry and Ko Ko had Fish 'n' Chips ($16.90) - the presentation looked good!

After settling some stuff, went home to rest. Managed to catch short naps, but I wonder how I am going to manage the night shift! Yes, night shift on a Friday night when I want to catch up with my sleep!!! Haiz.

Went McD to find PG to pass him the Taobao stuff. Talked a bit on Taiwan trip - saggy because both of us think the timing isn't really perfect for us. Firstly, it's taking up a lot of time in Decemeber - the peak period where everybody loves to take a break from work, tidying up and say goodbye to 2014. Secondly, it's eating up a lot of my leave quota. Then, the $500++ price tag isn't really wallet friendly though.

PG, HH and Nicholas scolded Whale & Cloud on Instagram. Reason? For lying to them that the place wasn't the actual venue when in fact it was. Bad publicity I guess and I think the effect would chain up and affect their business ds. PG was shrieking out when he described after being partly drenched by the rain, HH went to sniff his shift and exclaimed he very smelly. Aigoo... So disgusting!

Reached Chinatown at 12 pm for MT's farewell lunch. Saw Pra and Amee exited just the adjacent door only, so near yet so far - they didn't see me leh. Meanwhile MW was the earliest, he already waiting at Chinatown point McD. Then together we walked towards Central from Clarke Quay. Weird why don't meet at Clarke Quay MRT instead?

We took a long time to decide on the food to eat. Alamak, that's the issue with a big group. But then again, companion is more important than the food.

Everything ended at 6.10 pm. Broke off from the main group and went to meet PG just inside Cathay aigoo. We kept on talking about runcamelrun when they met up for another food tasting event, and they high-five twice. Nicholas was a bit shocked ds lol... Rebecca Lim also there as well.

Went to Raffles City to redeem the prize for my clone and sis won from Instagram contest! Yippee! Then straightaway I used the Podi brunch voucher. Ordered their eggs benedict to try out.

XYY no need to pay a single cent lor. It did feel weird that we just leave the scene after finishing the food, no need to call for bill or something like that. Still not very full, went up to foodcourt and bought sambal fried rice ($4.80) ds, could be better if it's more spicier! Yang! PG was quite influenced and attracted by the fried rice that he wants to bring colleagues to go Podi consume the brunch voucher and then come here to have lunch ds.

炒飯好吃耶！

While on our way to check out Duke Bakery (PG said buy 3 breads got lifetime membership!), my sharp eyes spotted HL and Seb at the MRT control station there! Aigoo, stood there and chit-chat ds. Bx... couple thought I went to the 8DaysEats event with PG. But I was in town for something else ds. Then we talked about AJM mood swing and his body size/weight issue. 究竟他到底要不要減肥的？

我只能說他要維持現狀下減肥瘦身是100%不可能的，因為當初會胖到這個地步就是他現有的飲食生活習慣所致。所謂‘No pain, No gain’，沒有input哪裡來的output？他的飲食嚴重偏離正常人應該有的適當攝取食物的概念，只挑偏甜偏炸的食物。而且一定要喝牛奶才能睡，yoghurt飲料才能排便？！這些真的很有可能是增肥的因素之一二，因為睡覺前不宜攝取一些太過營養的食物或飲料——他應該在早晨一起床才喝牛奶啊！至於yoghurt飲料，還不如吃一些蔬菜水果，這些便宜又沒加工過的食物呢，一樣能通便，而且還有其他有益身體的功能啊！

我們怎麼說他都不聽，我也只能在這裡發牢騷……他都不聽他們的，幹嘛要聽他的？馬六甲/檳城之旅都不要叫他去了……

Talked until 9 pm before parted our ways. Reached home 10 pm. MT kept chasing me for food pictures. Aigoo, 給人家一些時間修圖才發出去好不好？

Very satisfied with today's event. But I prefer to go out Saturday and stay at home on Sunday to have some quality family time ds.

Karaoke with Bay

Morning bought 2x 5200 mAh and 2x 10400 mAh powerbanks from Xiaomi. As the delivery cost only be waived off if the order exceeds $50, decided to help Bay and LZ to buy the 10400 mAh while I wanted the small powerbank for myself lo. At the same time also get another small powerbank to see who I can give as a gift.

Went karaoke with Bay in the afternoon. $21 for 4-hour session. Bay taught me a new way to sing: adjust the key before I sing so that I can avoid being 'tortured' by the song just because I can't drag myself into high notes, especially during chorus.

Usually for female singers, I have to raise the keys to the max. Yes, it may appear that I have to raise my own key to match the tone. In reality, I sang with more ease because it's still acceptable if the singing note is one octave above or below the tune one.

As for male singers, just down 2 keys for some of them would make the singing more comfortable. Hard to explain in words but kinda interesting.

Insinc only won $2. PG won $7!

Didn't go out today. WX/PG suggested go JB initially but I thought it would be so tired after going out on National Day le. Decided to give myself a rest.

Bay came over and complained 天才 not updated yet, then said want go karaoke in afternoon, even if I said my dinner already being prepared, he also said lunch then go out then come back for dinner. 想到繁重的工作不得不拒绝他。Wanted to do some work in afternoon.

Registered at Taobao, going to start my shopping spree!!!

Went out at 4 plus to get the last drink from Starbucks. Shrugs should have gotten 3 drinks instead of 2 yesterday because I need to get minimum 2 to just fulfill the requirement which was just 1 cup count away from redeem the special edition card. Otherwise I need to spend more $ per cup to get just a cup of drink. Sis said the current promotion the drinks are the same as July one, just that that one is one-for-one, this one is one for $4.90. Haiz...

Went Westgate outlet as the Jem one had long queue. Sagged when the barista told me no more stock for the card!!! Went JCube outlet to redeem the card instead, wasting my time.... -.-

Cousin came over for dinner. Then she and sis yang-ing over Taobao. Having blues in evening. I now very cherish the time spent at home, even if doing nothing, that kind of feeling is just awesome!

Morning went meeting with Joa and Barry.  Actually to me I rather spend almost one full day at the meeting than to go meeting everyday. YL waw so quiet as what they described. Lol...

Joa very bx. Gotten the pass also never hand over to me. Jin du. Later exit from the place there also don't want to return me my driving licence.

Lunch at Plaza Sing food court. Indonesian Ayam Panggang set @ $5.80 was nice! But 印象中好像起价 30c的说，以前$5.50的。

Later went back to the place again. *shake head* Like that how am I able to do my work?! Wasting so much time settling stuff which I think can be easily settled in 30 mins when it took me 2 hours.
Went back office was close to 6 pm liao.

Saw James this morning at JE MRT platform, sag he can't get onto my train. But I thought he would be farther into eastern part of SG at that point of time leh.

Tot boss would go with me to meeting, but he said he only go tomorrow. Aigoo, should go today mah! Today still considered manageable, hopefully everyday is like that ba!

Lunch didn't join them. TBH, I was a bit jelly when they said they at Kovan food centre while I got to attend to job matters. Lunch at nearby kopitiam. $4 wanton mee XYY~

Whole afternoon was very busy with work.

Sagged when I saw Fedex updated the estimated delivery date to 18 Aug! If I was assigned to UPS, I would have gotten my set today! On the other hand, yang because the moment after PG made payment, the sellers sent out the goods. And the transit time is short too! By tonight or tomorrow all of the items should reach Shenzhen and then send it over to SG!

Left office at 7.45 pm. Reached home 9 pm. Took 154-66-99, quite fast leh!

Morning saw that email from Spain, almost fainted! Surprisingly the meeting went well and quite fast ds.

Boss was a bit stunned when I asked which do you like more - SG or Spain? LOL~ But after that he said he like SG weather because no need to vex over what to wear and he can wear T-shirt, shorts and slippers and then go out le.

!!! PG said his phone already arrived yesterday, somemore is Bro helped to take de!!! Aigoo! Where's mine?!

Aigoo, then went to Nex with Raymond to have lunch at Nex. Subway macademia biscuit jinja nice.

Left office at 8 pm. Again, last to leave. Very saggy leh!


2014-08-14 Thursday
一個字：累！

Whole day was at meeting. Morning meeting ended at 1.30 pm and the next one was at 2 pm. It got worse by the rain! Luckily, morning ate some biscuits given by the Malay AJM, so I could leave the bread for afternoon tea-break when I get hungry again. But I brought these with me, so relieved that under the time constraint I could still have bread for lunch.

Halfway through the meeting I was so stressed up that I had headaches. :(

Afternoon meeting again. Bombarded me with questions which I don't know how to answer. I'm still new ok! The warm water did smoothen out the headache a bit.

Reached back office already 6.45 pm liao. Saw Joa and Barry still in office. They also surprised to see me back in office lol. They sighed after seeing me so stressed up after today's events. Haiz, I need something warm to keep me going - finishing up whatever I can today so that I don't have to do so much work the next day. Left office at 9.45 pm. Reached home almost 11 pm because went site to collect logs. Sag!


2014-08-15 Friday
Yang! Morning everybody seemed to be quite happy about it - coz of the company event in the afternoon so it's an auto half-day off for us. But I have to go meeting with Joa and Barry in the morning. Ended 1 pm then we went to Suntec for lunch.

Went in to this Peperoni Pizzeria @ Suntec City. Ordered their Cabonana Pasta lunch set @ $14.90. Came with a bowl of salad and iced green tea. Not bad.

Joa was so fed up with the credit card unable to be processed. She said she was so embarrassed that the cashier told her that the card cannot be used. Feeling very unjustified and agitated at the same time, she called Citibank to inquire about it. The bank told her the last payment she hasn't pay up yet. Aigoo... To me, if the card cannot use, I don't find it embarrassing, just use another card or use cash lor.

Then we went to Millenia Walk for a short walk - she wanted to see what's there. Then boss WhatsApped her where was she. Aigoo... We had to cut short our happy relaxing hours and went to Flyer.

Looked like we were the last to arrive, the race event was about to start. Each of us was tagged into a group and given an Ez-Link card to travel around downtown line. The idea wasn't bad actually, but I started to guess if the unlimited travel could last for more that 1 day lol. A lot of questionnaires asking about landmarks/shops/information around each of the downtown line stations - I told them just use google to find the answers, don't waste time walk around to find the actual thing and answer ourselves. That would be stupid ds. LOL~

Towards the end, they started to tease me as the Doctor of Google! LOL!!! Aigoo, I learnt this in uni days jek. Anything don't know learn how to source the answers myself instead of keep asking professor for the answers. This habit also influence my personal lives, whenever I have questions regarding anything, I would google for it lor. Good what, isn't it? HAHA!

Dinner wasn't bad. Paula kept singing and wanted to dance. I said you want to sing and dance go up the stage la, one more time I guess I have to push you to sing, skally got 1000 points more? The whole group laughed. Haha!

Was very tired and closed my eyes to rest and catch some bits of sleep. Then suddenly JM slapped on my shoulder, startled me up. Aigoo... Xyy got the 3rd place in overall result - though I did not contribute anything to the FB lol... Not bad liao la. But I jelly GD RC getting first place and got $20 vouchers. Jin du!

The whole event ended at 8 pm nicely. Went home straight after that, don't even want to talk to anybody as bumped into GD they all. Thanks to the unlimited travel on the given Ez-Link card, I could get free rides throughout the day ds, even the trip to home. XYY~ PG has to sag pls.

National Day celebration

After a hard time at work this week, it's finally weekend! Already decided that I shall not do anything related to work but to enjoy and relax on National Day.

Slept late last night at 2.30 am then I got the lethargic feeling when I woke up at 8 am this morning. Aigoo... Heng the Whale & Cloud cafe is closed today if not I have to be at Little India MRT at 8.30 am according to the original plan. Now I only need to be at Bugis MRT at 9.30 am lo. But anyway was late by about 15 mins. Nicholas even more late - said he just left house at the point of time when I just met PG at Bugis MRT! It's quite rare for him to be so late ds. Then PG said he watch 中國好聲音 watch until 忘我境界 liao. Haha! Then PG told him to come look for us once he is at Bugis. We made our way to the first stop of our cafe hop - Artistry.

The cafe just opened its door for business for today when we reached there. PG wanted to get outdoor seats because the lighting is good for nice nice food photo

PG很毒，我在淘寶買什麼他也跟著買什麼。昨天教他幫我買LG數據線（聽說最近LG的新款手機所附帶的數據線超給力，能快速充電），看看用在給紅米手機充電方面好不好比較好一點。結果他自己偷偷加多一個下去！之前自己買的紅米手機玻璃膜還有手機套，他也偷偷跟著買！真的很不行咧！

While waiting for Nicholas we began to look through the menu. Honestly the first thing that attracted my attention was Artistry Crab Burger ($20). How on earth does the real thing look like? What about the taste? 還蠻好奇的。

But anyway we decided to go for this burger, Kaya & Butter French Toast ($14), Latte ($5) and Cappuccino ($5).

After the toast was served, we began to let the cameras to feast on it LOL. The two angmoh ladies (coined by PG as 小龍女 and 楊過) saw us (because our actions were too big and obvious liao), they found it quite visually attractive and asked us what was that. Omo... PG then replied that they should try it out. And they really tried them out ds. Very yang~~

About the food, the toast is full of comments from us. The coconut ice cream was very uniqle because I could find the real coconut inside! The breads were nicely toasted and kiap together with kaya. Nice combination!

The crab burger deserves a prize on its own. This is my first time eating a crab burger and the overall impression is good! The crab meat was cut into smaller pieces and lumped into a ball before frying, hence the exterior contained a layer of crispy crab meat. Despite being fried, I didn't get sick of the taste and it was very tasty. Three of us already mesmerized by the beauty of this burger. LOL... Together with the charcoal bread, it's a winner here.

What's even more yang was that they gave us truffle fries instead of plain ones. It's much better than the one we had at One Man cafe lor. Even Nicholas approved the fries ds. Would definitely come back for more!

We left the place around 11.30 am to shift to the next stop - newly opened De'Pop Culture Cafe at North Bridge Road.

Luckily Nicholas wore red so we were encouraged to redeem the offer the cafe currently is having - wear red and take a selfie photo, upload to their FB page in order to enjoy a cup of latte for free.

The girl saw that the uploaded photo got three of us, decided to give us another cup of late for free! Yang!

Didn't know JX got come until PG told me this morning. But because he just woke up at 10 plus, he said he will find us only at 12 noon.

Then so coincident to see PG's ICT mate at the cafe. But his clique left shortly after without getting anything.

Went with the girl's recommendations - had their De'Pop Breakfast Platter Solo ($18.90). Not bad ds but I getting full liao.

JX came and ordered French Toast feat. The Berries ($10.90) and a cup of Cappuccino ($4.90). But because of 1-for-1 beverage offer going on, we had the Kiwi Soda also! The Kiwi Soda exceeded our expectation - very nice and refreshing!

JX rented a 14-24 mm wide angle lens for $28, just to take nice fireworks photos with it today.

We then moved on to the next stop - Shop Wonderland Cafe. PG was high-ing over the green banana cake but in the end we went for Gula Melaka Cake with Kaya ($7.60), together with Popcorn Matcha Latte ($6) and Passionfruit & Mango Muddle Soda ($7.90). I was appalled to see only 2 popcorns included for that 20 cents more but was mire relieved to see that the drink got the taste of the caramel popcorn in it. Not bad la.

We didn't get to try out the passionfruit soda at the previous cafe so we managed to get it here. OK la I still find the Kiwi Soda 很给力 leh. As for the cake, I felt that the Malay styled gula melaka taste could be stronger.

PG shrieked out by using the F word when he saw JX took out the army water bottle used as his water bottle! SSF out of so many bottles he go use the army one. Immediately PG said he don't know JX this person. LOL! 完全不行～

Next we moved to Millenia Walk to redeem the orange matcha tart from Tart Blanc. On our way there, Nicholas cannot hold back his gossip nature and leaked out to us that HH's weight is 110 kg! His BMI would be 39.4, close to 40 liao. *shireking out* PG jinja let out his shrieks in a way that's almost like the F16 fighter jets zooming over the sky ds. And that's 6 months ago, we spectulate that he would probably weigh around 120 kg now le!

Then HH told Nicholas that he wanted to slim down - using the lazy and effortless way - to eat slimming pills. Haven't he learnt the lessons when he got scammed of $50 or $70-80 when he bought the pills online? Not to mention the potential health risks with these pills. They can say until got dragon got tiger that these pills can do, but who knows if the pills bring more harm than good? The best way is still through exercise and diet. But he lazy to move and insists on unhealthy food - fried ones and 120% sugar for Koi milk tea ssf. Just hearing it already can imagine how unhealthy it can be liao.

Before we actually settled down at Millenia Walk, we went over to Suntec City to take photos with the poster on MorganField's Sticky Burger just outside the mall. Xyy can go add my cup counts by treating myself and PG Starbucks drinks. Now left only 1 more cup to redeem the mini card le.

I yang when I told them that my trackers got updated. Then Nicholas went to check his record and found that his one didn't get updated - big sag! Called the hotline but nobody picked up and the service crew could not help him. Aigoo total sag now hopefully Starbucks can backlog compensate him le lo.

Nicholas and JX left around 4.30 pm to camp for a location for the fireworks while PG and me xyy lazying around at Starbucks because we don't have the tripod. Lol...

*I'm getting addicted to Taobao. Omo must hold up my addiction until 11 Nov. Cannot keep buying and buying and end up spending lots of money ds.*

We left the place at 7.30 pm. Seeing the time a bit late, decided to do away with videoing the fireworks later at 8 pm. Went to Shine Korea. Bought 2 cup noodles to xyy for $2.80. PG trying out the super spicy noodles ds.

Went up food court as I was feeling hungry already. Bought kimchi fried rice ($6). Not bad BT a bit oily IMO. PG had his claypot fix for $5.60. The crowd surrounded the area to view the fireworks. It was a great view IMO, but very limited to hold so many people lor. Anyway if want to upload fireworks video can use the preview one lol.

But as we were finishing the food, we began to feel pressurised because people would start stand around us eyeing our seat le. But then Nicholas and JX needed some time to pack their stuff and walk back to City Hall.

Began to call them as I felt both me and PG couldn't wait any more longer. I still went for 2nd round - 香味米粉 ($5) leh. Then JX responded that he lost Nicholas while walking back. In the end JX came back faster than Nicholas ds!

Didn't know they already had nasi lemak as their dinner. Sagged! They should have informed us about this so that we can meet again somewhere else mah. Save the trouble of buying 2nd meal and stuff myself with more food lo.

Anyway they didn't want to eat dinner liao, but bought cold drinks instead. JX insisted he want to have dessert, so he got himself the 海底椰甜品. We were talking about HH the body changes when suddenly we heard a loud bang - a bowl of noodles was dropped onto a floor and the contents splashed out. Immediately after that I saw this woman wearing those 'cake' shoes (the one noticed by PG sitting on the table and shoes placed on the chair in public) storming out of the premise with a guy following after her. 感情糾紛最終吵架？
I got kena by the mishap - some of the noodles soup splashed onto my flippers and feet. Sway... And also what a way for that guy and lady to remember this day ds. JX still say haiyo if they never leave the place then can see drama. Aigoo, I don't know what they will do next. 不想做池魚之殃咧。

As for the photos, JX a bit regret that the lens he rented was too wide angle liao. The fireworks appeared small on the photos leh. I felt that the location was already saggy ds.

Called it a day when we left at around 10.40 pm to go home.
