2nd last post for 2008...
Today is 30 December 2008. Emo post again.
Well, this year is the same as 2007. About 75% the same.
Has been doing night shifts throughout the whole year. The month which left the deepest impression was actually February.
I'm those people who value Chinese New Year a lot. Mainly because I don't get to see relatives that a lot, they're all in Malaysia. Then CNY is a festive period which will last for 15 days. During these 15 days, I will just eat drink play (poker cards and mahjong hor... 打机 do not attract me as much) and receive ang bows.
But this year Feb is unlike 2007 (when I'm still a recruit at that time). They messed up my schedule. What Chua promised didn't come true at all! And some people - MG and SK went to take leave. Local take what leave... Priority should give to foreigners like me, SY and SH etc to go back to countryland to celebrate mah.

To tell a truth, human are always like that - they will never treasure what's around them and when one thing leaves them, then they will know it's too late.
For me, I just ORDed, yet on the one of the first few civilian nights at around 1am+ before I closed my eyes, I kept thinking what would I be doing at night shift right now.
Is it standing?
Is it walking?
Is it resting?
It is a combination of the 3 mentioned above. It's now then I realised how exciting it can be. If given a chance, I would want to go back to the 3 places where I did my night shifts just for 1 night each. It's not as if anyone can enter the 3 places and I would want to revisit them!
Talk cock sing song is very fun to pass time de. I will never forget the resting times we sacrificed just to chit chat. It just to forge and improves the friendships I have now.
Now everything is over, 2008 is coming to an end. It seems that I've gotten used to the life I had back in 2007 and 2008. Not that I can't get used to the life now, but I'm just too used to work work and more work. Now I'm jobless... Hope 2009 gives me good luck to everything! =)

MRT rosak?
Today went down to Keppel there to interview a stocktaking job which will last 21 days from 2 Jan till 23 Jan.
$6/hr. 7.30am to 5.30pm.
Mon - Sat. Sun handpicked those hardworking ones, double wage.
Additional $200 for 100% attendance.
Sounds good? I don't know... Given the economic situation now, jobs are really hard to find. Either they will give you a call if they need you or they just don't care about you. (sounds nicer than don't give a damn...) At least inform me mah so I won't waste my time waiting waiting waiting. Might as well go be a waiter =.= Haha, I know it's lame.
The aunty there was quite correct on the timing. Now most companies won't employ more people because they might either clearing some stuffs prior to CNY. So maybe after CNY then I look for another job again. Oh well, can earn experience lor.
Then went cartel to hoot the student meal, after that went to find YS. Haha... we hid ourselves and called YS... So fun playing hide-and-seek game la. And when we reappeared ourselves in front of YS, he still can't locate us. WTH
And those ORD in Nov and don't want to work until now... Might as well exchange ORD dates la, I want to earn more $$$...
On the way there by MRT... After this particular train arrived at Commonwealth station and picked up passengers, it didn't move. Despite after closing and re-opening the doors a couple of times, it still won't move. It was quite crowded at that time.
Then the PA system announced 'Next stop, Queenstown'. There was this aunty sat besides me suddenly got up and very anxious to get out of the train even though the train didn't move an inch at all! And she got out in the end =.=
Then the train driver announced that the train had some problems and will be delayed. He continued to use the doors closing and opening method but to no avail. After that he made the 2nd announcement requesting all passengers to alight the train and take the subsequent ones.
After all passengers disembarked from the train, the doors closed and the train started moving again! So was it really spoilt? I don't know. Then came in the next train, everybody was stunned by the unexceptionally crowds forming up at the platform. I think they didn't know what happened. Not all passengers can squeezed in the next train. LOL...

Sec sch gathering
Thanks to Yee Loong as the organiser of this event.
Record of 15 persons attended:
1. Me
2. Mrs Siow (left early)
3. Yee Loong
4. Melissa
5. Chin Chin
6. Hui Xian
7. Jesslyn (left early)
8. Yuan Sheng
9. Pui Han (left early)
10. Sin Yi (left early)
11. Mun Ying (left early)
12. Nancy (left early)
13. Wei Tyng (left early)
14. Joel
15. Vincent
Huaian in China now. YB had an appointment. Sharon got singing lesson. Other males got NS duties to do. LOL~
Had dinner at Shokudo (yeah it's shokudo again!). But this time round was the marche style shokudo at Raffles City.
Ordered this Japanese style western grilled chicken set + thin crust rectangular pizza + strawberry ice dessert. The latter 2 shared among Sin Yi, Pui Han, Mrs Siow and Jesslyn.
Even it's after 4 years, one thing still remain in place was the cliques appeared during the 3-01 and 4-01 times.
1. Yuan Sheng and Yee Loong mixed up with Chin Chin gang
2. I mixed up with Sin Yi, Pui Han, Jesslyn
3. Joel and Vincent mixed up with the rest
The topics, well, ranged from NS and A/E maths curriculum changes then and now to recovering memories and universitiy lifes & options. Heard that Maths curriculum had became harder and what is PROVING GEOMETRY?!
And 1 thing I noted from those studying uni now is that they enjoyed a lot. Haiz... turn bad liao... haha
And Wei Tyng said me of having the Malaysian accent and hospitality. So I don't know whether it's complement or criticism... =.= Nothing wrong with that accent what... I believed I spoke without knowing it. American accent or British accent which one is the standard one? Singapore is just following China where mandarin is based on the dialect spoken in Beijing.
And the hospitality, I guessed this one is more on complement. Haha, she said I'm too extrovert. I think it's because it has been a long long time since we last met lor. LOL
After the dinner at 9pm. Some of them went home early while others continued the night with yumcha session at a HK 茶餐厅 in Bugis. There I learnt more about the job Yuan Sheng had and the NS life he is living now. Interesting though.
Express 502 back home. But it's not express at all... Cost me $2.20. Might as well take MRT then walk home. Nothing can replace the 185 as express service.

Nothing much today
Today nothing much
Went Malaysia
Visited the new checkpoint
Quite fast
Just that I don't like the high humps
Came back the route was so longgggg...
Why make a big U-shaped detour?
The next time I go Malaysia...
Going to get a Malaysian pre-paid card
Looked at my phone bill just now.
$32.60 when it should have been $15! T.T
Now have to see which to pick: Maxis Hotlink, Digi prepaid or Celcom X pax...

Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas to me
Today nothing to do
Just 扫歌 over the net
Supposed to have card games with dominic they all
But no news after dominic's sms asking where to play the games in the afternoon
Dinner at IKEA
Cheap and nice western food, value for money la!
Went around IKEA to see their furnitures
Saw this wall/floor lamp quite nice
But too bad it's a little too big to be hung onto the wall in my bedroom
These few days have been chionging the drama Just In Singapore

Painting...
Today is painting day!
Had living room and my bedroom room painted
Also fixed some cracked cement and holes at ceiling
Super tired! Basically I did the 2nd most challenging task (the most challenging being using cement to cover up the hole at the ceiling and paint white over it), i.e. paint those edgy parts whereby you cannot use roller... 60-70% of the time I'm on a ladder...
Next time post pictures out

Converse warehouse sale (no more Yes man outing)
Supposed to have Yes Man outing
3pm at The Cathay House
But just before I reached Douby Ghaut
Dominic called and asked me to go over to Plaza Singapura to buy tickets from Golden Village while he took his own sweet time coming
Q was long
I didn't see a single person who is supposed to be there
Anyway, they are (effectively ones were in bold)
1. Me
2. Dominic
3. Bay
4. Jia Yun
5. Kenny
The friendly staff told us there's only the front row of seats left for 3.40pm slot
or we could buy 4.25pm de
Then Jia Yun don't want and Kenny was not very keen
He got something on at 6.30pm at Orchard
Then the outing was cancelled
Here came another outing
The Converse warehouse sale - recommended by Bay
Only me, Dominic tagged along with Bay
And WTH with Bay la?!
Never do his part on researching the route to the place
and he wanted to go liao...
Harriston Road
Who knows where is it unless he look up the street directory
Anyway, it's me and Dominic who guided Bay to the warehouse sale
On the bus Dominic was overwhelmed by the IPPT advertisement card hanging on the bus horizontal bar
=.=
But it's quite easy actually, don't know what Bay is thinking
Like that how to go on tour overseas?
Haha
The warehouse sale was really warehouse sale
Everything was cheap
But those shirts, shoes, jeans were not to my likings
It's the design
Somemore I jobless
So should spend less
The green polo shirt reminded me of Edwin!

Kbox with Chee Chuan and Yida
Supposedly 1.45pm at bus stop outside the demolished cinema (McDonalds there).
I reached there at 1.43pm. 185 was damn fast, I treat the bus service as express service. 99 is just too slow.
They were late. Not the 1st time I nagged at them because they were late liao. But please la... 2pm start leh! Must make full use of the 5 hours there, not cheap also. Each of us paid $27.60. And I'm jobless liao. Sacked by the government.
For the type of songs they sang, Chee Chuan still stick to Jay Chou while Yida chose Mayday songs. Nothing wrong with that. Personal preferences only.
On their impressions. Yida slimmed down significantly, thanks to BMT. Chee Chuan has know how to dressed up smartly. But that 'sports' bag and the shoe spoiled the whole image. For me, I rather bring a nicely looking paper/plastic bag. Look smart!
Dinner @ sumo-house, continued our chat there. Well I've learnt more on telemarketing and surveryors these 2 types of jobs. Not to my liking. Luckily I could able to get away from it at 2nd day.
Now even Peng Guan wants to quit. Chain effect... See how tomorrow lor.
For now, I just put an analysis from a personality test website (http://www.ipersonic.com). It was recommended to me by Bay. But I didn't post it out at then cos I was in MY. Since I see so many people posting their results from this particular test and commented it as super accurate. I shall put lor.
For my case, it's quite accurate, at least 80% true.
Determined Realists like to bear responsibility and welcome challenges. They are stable, reliable persons. External contacts are very important to them; they mix well and are very active. They are excellent organisers and are very happy when things are done correctly and punctually; they can quickly react impatiently if others are not as conscientious, orderly and dutiful as they are. They prefer structured work which produces visible results quickly to abstract, long-drawn-out processes. Determined Realists have no problem with routine as long as it serves efficiency. However, they very much dislike unexpected and unpredictable occurrences which mess up their careful plans. Once they have committed themselves to a cause they do this with dedication and are willing to make considerable sacrifices for it.
Determined Realists do not avoid conflicts and criticism but face up to them and look for solutions. As they have a keen eye for the errors and shortcomings of others and are often quick at expressing criticism, they sometimes rub people up the wrong way especially when they lose their temper and jump to conclusions. Due to their marked sense of justice they are quickly willing to correct themselves and never take offence if someone speaks to them frankly. You do not have to seek hidden motives with them; you always know where you are. Determined Realists are often found in executive positions as they combine commitment, competence and the ability to assert themselves. In their spare time, they often also accept responsibility in clubs and other institutions.
Traditions rate highly with Determined Realists. They attend every family event and never forget a birthday or wedding anniversary. Family and friends are very important to them. With their open, communicative manner, they find it easy to get to know people and have a large circle of friends and acquaintances. They are never superficial, but reliable and loyal friends who are always there when they are needed. Determined Realists take their relationships very seriously - they dream of finding a partner for life. In a love relationship, they seek above all stability and loyalty and here, too, they are willing to invest a lot in a harmonious togetherness. Determined Realists master crises or difficult phases with composure; they would never think of breaking a promise given. As a partner, one can always rely on their support.
At work...
As a Determined Realist, you are one of the extroverted personality types. You enjoy working in a team as a colleague or a team leader. Because you have an outgoing nature, you approach others easily and openly; working in solitude by yourself would be punishment for you. You know how to appreciate a harmonic working climate, but the relationship to your colleagues is not as important to you as to some of the other personality types. For you, the task always comes first and your colleagues and/or superiors are second. As long as everybody is working as disciplined and determined as you are, everything is just fine.
However, if you sense that the work is suffering from irrelevant disputes or private matters that have nothing to do with the job, you have no problem expressing your criticism, and making your team toe the line. It would never occur to you to sacrifice a good result in your work on the altar of personal moods, or in favor of a conflict free environment. On the other hand, you are one of the personality types who is best at handling criticism, and swallow negative feedback without brooding or sink into depression. Consequently, you also can hold your ground in professions where the climate is a little rougher and more competition oriented.
You are an excellent organizer, and a genius at planning and maintaining a workflow that is precise and on time. You enjoy dealing with details and facts, developing rules and guidelines, and establishing standards. Here, your natural sense for systematic and love of order prove to be advantageous; as well as your acute aptitude to see the most efficient of all possible approaches.
In love...
Your personality type belongs to the most loyal and most faithful types. Even though you are able to fall in love head over heels if the stars are properly aligned, recklessness in dealing with your feelings, and those of others, is totally foreign to you. A relationship is a very important obligation for you. You take it very seriously, and give it a very important place in your life. You are not scared off with sentences like “until death does us part”; on the contrary.
Security, responsibility, and stability are very important to you, and you strive for a permanent personal relationship. For that reason, you are very comfortable in the established traditions such as marriage and family. Once you make a promise, one can be sure that you’ll do everything in your power to keep it, and this especially applies to matters of love. Especially in the “tough days” of a marriage, you turn out to be your partner’s invaluable harbor. You expect the same from him/her. Unfaithfulness and flightiness are going to hurt you more than most other types. Just remember that when the time comes to choose a partner, because not all personality types are as consistent as you need your partner to be.
Determined Realists like you are well grounded, and are much too sober and smart to think that in a long-term relationships, everything is going to be rosy. You are aware that highs and lows are a part of love and life, and difficult times are not going to make you unsure or discouraged. Instead of unending passion, trust, and a deep and continuing friendship between you and your partner are important to you because you know that these feelings are better suited to weather the turbulence of everyday life. Your contribution to the relationship primarily are continuity, and absolute devotion to your partner and your family. Your sense of purpose, and your need to take charge are also evident in the way you deal with your partner. You are probably the organizer, manage most of everyday life, and are in charge of your social contacts as a couple or family, as well. This does not mean that you want to be particularly dominating; you just have a pretty good notion of how things are supposed to work, and you just implement them without hesitation.
Adjectives which describe your type
extroverted, practical, logical, planning, direct, structured, conscientious, responsible-minded, self-confident, critical, honest, orderly, reliable, controlled, objective, able to concentrate, resolved, purposeful, communicative, with a sense of duty, tradition-conscious, stable, able to deal with conflicts, solution-oriented, relationship-oriented, efficient, impatient, warm-hearted, competition-oriented

Happy Birthday to Weilong!
First of all, I sacked myself from my 1st job
2 reasons
1. I didn't know it's telemarketing! I didn't like telemarketing in the 1st place and I didn't look up at telemarketing vacanies. It just put it as customer service assistant.
2. After trying out for 2 days, at the 2nd day of my work, I affirm that I still don't like the job, so what if the salary is high? I still prefer stable pay vs commission-based pay.
Happy 20th birthday Weilong!
List of who went the dinner:
1. Me
2. Weilong (Birthday boy)
3. Leon
4. Zheng Yang (left early)
5. Edmund
6. Bay
7. Geraint
8. Dominic
9. Samuel (dinner only, left early)
10. Zhi Jian (came late, left early)
11. Yun Zhen (dinner onyl, left early)
Well, after my 1st day at job. I can say I'm quite tired. So what for the comfortable environment whereby you can sit down for the whole 9 hours and making calls? You still feel shoulders ache, back ache, leg ache when you reach home...
Woke up 10.30am, still tired. Spent most of the morning using the computer. Then went out to take 174 to Weilong's house. It's a long way from my house la! Along it went pass Yun Zhen's, Jansen's and Geraint's houses lor.
I was the 3rd person to arrive after Leon and Zheng Yang. Had lunch there before we started our game 'Little Big Planet' on PS3. Nice game there. It looks real realistic while preserving the cartoon feel to it. Then came the rest.
The whole afternoon was the 'little big planet' session with Weilong and Zhi Jian la~ I just love the game and I just got higher and higher that I just got nearer and nearer to the big TV... LOL... that mines level was damn classic la~
Then took 77 to Orchard. Heng, I didn't drive. Nono, it's I didn't have the chance to drive I mean. Dinner at NYDC. Ordered mushroom ham pasta and shared mushroom munchies with Zheng Yang. It's a very mushroom meal.
Sang the birthday song super loud la~ until the whole outlet and hear our singing. Cake was super delicious and of course... ex... Birthday boy was happy, if not, I'll think I'll 伤脑筋 liao.
Took super random pictures la... Instead of taking the christmas tree as the background, they used construction planks as the background. Weird taste they all...
Then I travelled back home with Zheng Yang, got the car, then headed towards Geraint's house and the later part of the programme began. Those labelled 'left early' by me left and went back home. They played poker while I played katamari. Yay! I managed to roll up the whole Earth!
*Dominic: Dun be so surprised when it's my 2nd time doing parallel parking after 9 months I passed my TP test ok?
Went out to Bukit Timah Beauty World area to buy supper. I didn't know there exist 24hr kopitiams la. Chicken rice going for $3.80, even the packaging is 1 notch above the others, used 'ration plastic box'... Bring back memories... OMG...
Then they played truth or double truth, a spin-off of the game 'truth or death'. I really don't know how to answer 'what's my darkest secret' when I'm like no secret to tell (or should I put this: you all already know my secrets?). I gave up on this part. And they have no chance to ask Yun Zhen questions on me. Neh-nee-neh-nee-poo-poo lol. 3am left the place. Tired.

1st day at job
Well, it has been a tiring and boring day for me. Spamming 200 phone calls in 4 hours. Now my shoulders ache.
Even PG also complained the same thing and we think alike!
Shall try the job for about 1 week, if really can't earn money. Then I'd think I just leave. No point taking $380 when you can earn $1000 in an admin job...

Job interview
Yesterday after Peng Guan recommended me this job, I decided to try my luck. OMG, they were so fast! So I went down for interview today. YS also went.
Basically I think I know the rules and regulations, as well as the wage calculation. But I just feel that at least there must be minimum wage, the commission rate is just too high. What happens if there is no customer? Eat grass loh!
All 3 of us got accepted. But I a bit worried there's no customer. Even 1 customer each day is good enough for me le. I don't expect much. As long as it hits the $1000 target per month can le.
Went to central mall. Looked nice... but not much crowds leh, like very quiet like that lor.
Post this video up, quite interesting!

12 Dec
A hectic day. Nice weather. I don't wish to ORD in a rainy day lor.
After much going up and down, I finally gotten back my IC.
Well, it's time to move on.
After sending Kim off at Ngee Ann Poly, I rushed back to have lunch. Then went to buy ice cream @ King's factory sale. Freezer full of ice cream now.
Rushed back home, cos uncle needed to go down to train station to fetch them.
Then I slowly unpacked and repacked everything into the field bag and then into the duffel bag.
13 Dec 累下
Went Sentosa. Had the fun luge ride. Other than that, nothing much also. Coz had been to all attractions already. But cousins went to chase the peacock and the peacock slided. It was so funny la!

Dinner @ Shokudo Pasta & Pizza Citylink
We exchanged present
My present gave to Meng How
And I took Yee Loong's present
Chatted a lot. Long time never see YL and Huaian le. Huaian working for his father. YL jobless. Meng How yet to ORD. Jesslyn and YB are enjoying their holidays.
Twilight
This movie was nice. But some parts draggy. It's already good enough to show the love between the leads
Was expecting more fight scenes - too short! No subtitles also, had a hard time finding out what they talking. Fortunately the plot is easy to understand, and with my logical brain, I could figure out the story myself. It's just the ang-moh version of 我和僵尸有个约会lor.

Went sleep @ 2am after I can't notify MINDEF about overseas trip. Morning woke up then realised that there is no need to notify if trip lasts less than 24 hrs.
List of who went:
1. Me (BC OIC)
2. Peng Guan (BC 2IC)
3. Jordan
4. Yong Sheng
5. Wiyatno
Jordan, YS were late. The moment I met up with Wiyatno, I started souring him non-stop throughout the whole trip. Wahaha! YS got a new W980. Nice... *When is my C905?! T.T*
Walked across causeway there. Fun. But it took them 30 mins to clear at Malaysian customs. I could have walked around then come back la. Just went City Square only. Had lunch at Marrybrown they were so crazy about the rocking seats. RM9.
Bought a shirt cum T-shirt for RM59.90. YS also bought the same shirt but different size. Then got a T-shirt for RM19. Good deal.
They all 扫货 very siong. PG and Wiyatno didn't even inform the 3 of us and they just went to 扫货 while we still take our own sweet time window shopping. PG even broke la! No $ to have dinner lor. OMG!
Dinner at HK Kim Gary restaurant. Had curry fish fillet spaghetti $14.80. It was great! But the dessert mango snow flake I felt they could have put in more mango jam. I made so much lame jokes, until Peng Guan went sot, Jordan and YS went speechless and Wiyatno wanted to throw me utensils and plates. LOL
Took 160 home with Peng Guan. I realised it was just as fast compared to the MRT. Somemore, I could change to 157 or 185 at JE and continue my way home. Reached home within 1 hour.

Went down to Rec Exp JE, then realised that they didn't call me yesterday! Sian 1/2. (But then later in the day I found out it's from Rec Exp Orchard)... Paiseh paiseh...
Met up with Dominic at Cathay House. He was late again. And Jia Yun 放我飞机!SMS at the very last minute said not going, I was at City Hall MRT station then. I almost exploded at that point of time. Seriously I don't know what happened to him and Kenny. He can pangseh Dominic and me just for Kenny's sake... What the hell.
Anyway, shan't comment on that anymore. Today went to watch Bolt. OMG, I didn't know Dominic booked the 3D version of the movie. $10 instead of usual $6. Nevermind, it's a first for me.
Wow, didn't know the effect was good! Worth the $$ la...
About the movie. A different genre from Twilight. A good mix of laughter and emo. As far as I know, they designed the dog to be a german shepherd. But I see the dog very fierce like that, not very like german shepherd leh.
Story line is ok, not draggy. And the thing is the dog is the main lead, same as Kung Fu Panda, not the girl!
Spoiler ahead!
The movie roughly went like this: the female owner and the dog went to shoot film, gain popularity. Until one fine day, he was accidentally transported to somewhere else and he needed to find his way back. Luckily he met the cat and the hamster who helped him a lot. They also teached him what's the jobscope of a pet dog. At last, the dog saved the owner from choking of CO2 gas as fire broke out at shooting place.
I think the message this movie wants to send across is as the animal spent too much time living 'artificially' or 'human world', they will lose their natural ability to survive. If one rears a pet, it's better don't abandon them, because they won't be able to survive in the outside world, let alone the wild.
Rating: 4/5
Had 担担拉面 as lunch at some chinese restaurant. $5.80 not bad. Dominic don't know how to eat la... the noodles can spilled out of the bowl. =.= After that Dominic still got cravings for sashimi, so we went to Nibon Muri lor. After that 174 home sweet home.
Yay, I managed to 50% secured a temp job! Hope the interview tomorrow would be a success one. It's customer serivce assistant, same as Peng Guan. Recommended to YS and he also kena roped into the interview tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Honda Odyssey

Jansen Tano
Zar

ORD!ORD!
Ong Shan Ying, Edwin
Honda Odyssey
Lim Yun Zhen
Jansen Tano
Zar
Shi Hao
Saravanan
Ong Jun Xiang, Joseph
Francis

Regimental Policeman
Soh
Jing Xian
“你很up!”
Understudy Kennel Master
Moon Kiat
还有half-day off
Kennel washing
Thomas
Max
K9 BBQ
ORD dinner
Jing Xian
4. ORD dinner
Wei Hao=.=
Bay ZZ
Max
K9 Kenny T
伟大到=.=
Chua TK
Lim YZ/Joseph
Uno
Lim YZ/Lee ZH
Lim YZ
Lim YZ
Lim JS, Lim YZ, Cheung Jie, Ong SY, Lim SK, Zheng MG, Sara
Lim YZ
K9 Rommel
Kennel Master
Sgt
Soh
K9 Tan ZY
Zheng MG, Zar
Geraint
Temasek Club Edwin
Edmund
K9 Lim YZ, Jansen
Kennel Master

2008-12-10
WEF January 2009...
To all Employees:
Effective January 2009
Dress Code
1. It is advised that you come to work dressed according to your salary. If we see you wearing Prada shoes and carrying a Gucci bag, we assume you are doing well financially and therefore do not need a pay raise.
2. If you dress poorly, you need to learn to manage your money better, so that you may buy nicer clothes, and therefore you do not need a pay raise.
3. If you dress just right, you are right where you need to be and therefore you do not need a pay raise.
Sick Days
We will no longer accept a doctor's certificate as proof of sickness.
If you are able to go to the doctor, you are able to come to work.
Holiday Days
Each employee will receive 104 personal days a year. They are called Saturday & Sunday.
Compassionate Leave
This is no excuse for missing work. There is nothing you can do for dead friends, relatives or co-workers. Every effort should be made to have non-employees attend to the arrangements.
In rare cases where employee involvement is necessary, the funeral should be scheduled in the late afternoon. We will be glad to allow you to work through your lunch hour and subsequently leave one hour early.
Toilet Use
1. Entirely too much time is being spent in the toilet. There is now a strict three-minute time limit in the cubicles.
2. At the end of three minutes, an alarm will sound, the toilet paper roll will retract, the cubicle door will open, and your picture will be taken.
3. After your second offence, your picture will be posted on the company notice board under the "Chronic Offenders" category.
4 Anyone caught smiling in the picture will be sanctioned under the company's mental health policy.
Lunch Break
1. Skinny people get 30 minutes for lunch, as they need to eat more so that they can look healthy.
2. Normal size people get 15 minutes for lunch to get a balanced meal to maintain their average figure.
3. Chubby people get 5 minutes for lunch, because that's all the time needed to drink a Slim-Fast.
Thank you for your loyalty to our company. Remember we are an employer of choice and we are here to provide a positive employment experience.

Management

*Thanks to those who complement on my fast typing of Chinese characters. Have no choice but to learn... Sometimes I do feel that I type chinese faster than english. LOL...
Well, today was a carefree and emo day. Woke up 8am, set off to work at 9am.
Saw the people there 1 more time. It's a cruel fact that I have to part with them after 12th le, even though there are baddies.
Looked for clay at Popular in IMM. Don't know whether the clay is suitable for use to make paw print or not. $2.60 for 500g.
Then walked to West Mall to look for some dog treats. Bought a packet of biscuits and chicken sticks. $25 OMG... But it's a once-in-a-lifetime kind of thing, so cincai la... I bet the dogs love the treats! =p
*love the chicken pie from Polar! But too bad never get...
Had a look at C905 dummy phone at Hello! shop. It's so nice to hold, push up, open up camera lens cover. The display is one of the finest in market, if not the best liao. But singtel don't want to drop the price. $598 is expensive lo. I hope to get around 400+/-...
Then this Peng Guan was telling me he was so emo after he got the song 顺时针 by 梁咏琪, so much so that he changed his blog song to this. Even more emo than me... But I guess I would get more emo on 12th and 15th ba~ Wahaha, wonders of music...
After reading his blog, I guess I shared the same sentiments with him even though we are from diff units. It's the same for most of the NSFs I think... Only a minority would not even think back.
I haven't write my NS report. It shall be a super long post one... All at one go... At least the next time I come back to the old posts, it's easier for me to link up everything. Dateline: 15th Dec. It's the day when my batch's legend ends. I'm quite attached to k9 life ok?

Kbox outing
Today rained for the whole day! Damn nice to be able to sleep whole night. Guess what? It's 25°C around 9.30pm! No need to on air-con to sleep... Actually I seldom on air-con 'cos I sleep alone in room.
Today was public holiday... Was on 185 to Clementi when I saw this truck with a sheep inside. Was wondering why a sheep on a truck? It took me about 3-5 seconds to realise today is Hari Raja Haji. LOL...
Following is a list of people attended:
1. Me (birthday boy)
2. Sharon
3. YB
4. Jesslyn
Kbox was crowded with people going for 2-7pm package. Luckily Sharon booked a room yesternight. And the good news was that it's free! Supposed to be my 20th birthday present haha!
Surprisingly sharon didn't pick a lot of Stefanie Sun's songs! Haha while there were a few songs I didn't managed to pick too. Wonder why the 5 hours pass so fast! Now the kbox had got the system to lock up everything when time's up. Sian...
After the kbox, went Jurong Point's Men-ichi Ramen restaurant for dinner. YB had a crave for it lor. I had salmon teriyaki ramen ($12.90), Sharon had spicy tonkotsu ramen (according to Sharon, it's 豚骨拉面 @ $10.90), YB and Jesslyn had fried rice ($6.80 each). We shared crab + mushroom omelette ($3.90).
Go in sequence...
The salmon teriyaki ramen. Well, the soup has sort of washed out the teriyaki taste from the salmon meat. The salmon was ok, it was fresh. Ramen came in big serving. Haha, so it's well worth the $12.90. Came along was some pickled vegetables. YB said it was seaweed.
The spicy tonkotsu ramen was similar to mine, only the salmon changed to tonkotsu. It felt like pork, just that it's a bit softer. The spicy soup completed the meal. Nice.
Fried rice was the thing I found it not too worth. Could get fried rice cheaper elsewhere lor.
The omelette was nice again! Haha... But the combination made me felt like there's oyster or 'lala' inside - the mushroom looked like it. =.=
Walked home after dinner. Chatted about where to go for tour. The previous time we had the same conversation. We realised that - the KL trip in May. This time round we got greedier - we wanted to go HK or Taiwan. Auto meant more $$ is needed lor. Haiz... I'm poor le.

Danesh's 21st birthday
Happy belated birthday to Danesh on 1 Dec.
Wait, list down who attended the outing:
1. Me
2. Cheung Jie (left early)
3. Bay (left early)
4. Jia Yun (left early)
5. Kenny (left early)
6. Francis (left earliest)
7. Weilong (left early)
8. Edmund
9. Leon
10. Dominic
11. Nigel
12. Jason
13. Samuel
14. Danesh (birthday boy!)
Well, wouldn't think I would get this kind of celebration when I turn 21 years old in June next year. Reason? I don't expect my parents would organise such event lor. But if there's one, I would gladly appreciate it.
The celebration was held at void deck of Blk 167 @ Yishun a.k.a Danesh's house. Supposed to start at 7pm. Was the 1st person from K9 to arrive. Others took public transport except for me and Nigel - we drove.
Weilong was smart enough to bring poker cards and they played bridge. Bridge is so fun to play meh? Big2 is not even that difficult hor. This one you have to think who is your partner, think what to bid, have to see, have to this have to that! At the end of the game, also have to calculate. But I don't know what to calculate lar.
The fishing poker game also needs calculation at the end of the game, but the gameplay is very simple. Have means have, don't have means don't have. Straight and clear.
I had a hard time figuring out how to play after being taught by Shi Hao. Even Shi Hao had given up hope on me liao. I sweared I don't play bridge in my whole life...
Games aren't designed to kill time de meh? They're supposed to be simple what. Last time those gameboy games or pacman, they were simple to play. Look at the games now, lots of controls and a lot to remember. MMO and those FPS are good examples. Perhaps my simple mind can't keep up with the times lor.
Enough of the games. We were called up to made fun ourselves with some silly poses and dancesteps. But when the whole lot 13-14 people do it's not silly at all. Seriously.
Food was nice. But I preferred chicken to mutton anytime.
After the whole event. Those wanted to leave, left. Then the rest went to Orchid Country Club nearby to play pool.
I think I'm the most tyco player of all.
1. I don't do recce and calculation.
2. I don't bend down to aim properly (kena complained by Dominic).
3. I wait for miracle to happen.
So much so that I thrashed the pool pro Edmund by hitting the black ball into the hole and the white ball also went in after that as well. Perfect ending. Everybody was shocked by my performance. I swear I don't play pool.
I don't know whether there are photos. Will upload them as soon as I got it.

Last duty!
I now officially announce that my last duty is over!
Well, it certainly changed a lot from day 1 I started doing this.
And when I finished it, I had mixed feelings towards this. Don't know should feel happy or emo?
Happy - no more overnight shift for me!
Emo -
Yup, a lot of people would say "you stupid ah, of course should feel happy la!"
But then it's another whole new feeling when you want to ORD lor.
Right now, I must find some time to do a write-up report with data and statistics. Must record down so that after 5, 10, 20, 30 or even 50 years (when my mind is still clear, I still know how to use computer =p), I know what happened during my 19th - 20th year of life.
