Outing with JX and PG

Yesterday went out with JX and PG to Bugis for a chillout at cafes to chit chat and update each other's current situation.

1st stop: Stateland cafe
This small cafe was scouted by PG *don't know where he got to know this cafe from*, it is just a few shop lots away from Choo Choo Chicken. When we entered the shop at around 2.50 pm, I found out it was so small that it couldn't accomodate more than 30 patrons - much alike to Choo Choo Chicken.

Aigoo, the topic of conversation here was so R(A) rated until I cannot disclose here! Baituo! It's about one of the JX friend ds...

Had iced mocha ($5.90) for myself and a Belgian waffles ($8.90) to share.

Overall a nice experience.

2nd stop: Mean Bean & Wicked cafe
It was 4.15 pm in the hot afternoon. Again scouted by PG *also don't know where he got to know this cafe from*, this cafe is located at The Plaza, behind Parkroyal Hotel. Location is a bit ulu. Over here, we had the following to share while continuing our chat:

- Seasalt caramel chocolate shortbread ($5.60)
- Ovaltine cake ($7)
- Lemon meringue ($5.80)

Damage: $0 (thanks JX for the treat!)

3rd stop: Bugis Junction
PG went back to JE for his JC dinner gathering @ Niam Niam while me and JX decided to take a walk around Bugis Junction. JX bought a microUSB cable for $9.90 then he realised Challenger store is also inside Bugis Junction where he can get his cable for 1 dollar less. Baituo... I guess Daiso also got sell, $2 can also do the job!

*Saw someone whom I thought is Henrick at Bugis Junction and I think he got look back at me omo~

Then also visited Sony store. JX wanted to try out the QX10 camera add-on lens by pairing it with his HTC One. He's thinking of getting one for himself. Not cheap anyway. Don't know why but the pairing failed. In the end, he gave up trying lol.

4th stop: Choo Choo Chicken
After the shopping at Bugis Junction, we went to Choo Choo Chicken at about 7.45 pm for dinner. As I always wanted to introduce people to this restaurant which was opened by my 선생님, this time round managed to pull JX along to try out authenic Korean fried chicken!

A pity that 선생님 wasn't at the restaurant on that day. The Korean waitress wasn't around, and replacing her yesterday was a local instead.

Ordered 8 piece spicy flavoured fried chicken ($16) and choo choo cham chi rice burger ($6.90). Both dishes were kept the same standard as before which was just... GOOD! Needless to say, I did enjoy my stay there. Even JX also gave a thumb up for the freshly fried chicken! The special Korean way of coating the spicy sauce definitely caught him hehe~

Damage: $11.50 (total $22.90)

After dinner as we were rather full, decided to take a walk to City Hall. JX wanted to go to the Leica store @ Raffles Hotel, but saggy is that the store has been closed for the day. The thing ended when we went home by MRT from City Hall.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yesterday's news were quite epic.

1. MH370 plane went 'missing'
This is something out of ordinary. It was supposed to reach Beijing yesterday morning 6.30 am, but it didn't and the reports said that the plane vanished from the radar some 40 mins after it took off from KLIA. Now, they suspect the plane might be found in South China Sea and search has begun.

2. Vehicle dashed across Woodlands Checkpoint.
Saw a video on this yesterday too. The Merc just dashed across the barrier, but the barrier failed in stopping the car. Officers were nearby and they did nothing. In the end, the car drove off!!! Omgaakkkkk~!!!
