Back to blogging (continued, part 3)

This is part 3 of the back to blogging series, starting with events from June till now. I have not been blogging about the events and thoughts for the past few months. I feel that it helps when you want to review a couple of years later back what has happened today. So I make it a point to blog these things down, even though they sound trivial.

7 June 1st Korean class
Rushed down from work to Clementi MRT to chase the 184 to Beauty World. Nicholas got the lessons at Groupon offer. Met him and PG and off we went to study Korean!

I didn't know there was a Korean language centre inside Beauty World. And even more shocking is that, Bukit Timah area is almost like a little Korea, alongside with Tanjong Pagar. I could pinpoint out the Korean restaurants and there was a grocery mart nearby. ^^

Teacher was an ethnic Korean, but also knows Japanese language quite well too. She introduced us as 시아 and immediately we loved her teachings, especially when she said 가~~~!!!! Full of expressions!

Thursday class wasn't big: mainly consisted of 3 of us, Doris the 아줌마, 2 Malaysian girls, the couple in front us and the teen girl nearest to door.

So the first class was very very basic - introduced some consonants and vowels, how to pronounce and how to write.

After lesson, we went to the 文冬記 nearby for chicken rice dinner. Oh my, it wasn't cheap. $9 per pax. The only thing I found special was the shape of rice served. See pics below. Hehe...

8 June Last day of internship
I've written a post on this in a past post. Right now still considering (or put this aside first) about my future job with the company. But now here I only included the pictures. Haha. Thanks RX for her Japanese chocolate gifts.

9 June PG's birthday
Had a hectic time doing internship and yet need to handle PG's birthday preparation too. Luckily, everything turned out well :) Happy belated birthday PG!

Met HL and Sebastian to do last minute shopping at Daiso @ Plaza Singapura. Nicholas arrived later. And all of us wrote greeting words on the handmade papercards at last minute at the food court.

After which we went to City Hall to meet HH as he needed to collect the cake. Then we moved off to 7 KICKstart BREWiches @ Armenian Street to leave cake there before we came back to Raffles City to wait for birthday boy to arrive.

Then we made the trip to 7 KICKstart BREWiches again. This time round, we ordered the meals to start off with the celebration. I had some burger set, but I changed to chicken from beef.

Polaroid!!!

After the brunch, we went to nearby SMU for some saboteur and 三國殺 games. The day ended at Kungfu Paradise @ Bugis+ for a super simple dinner as we were not very hungry at all.

Yes, after today, the next one is HH's birthday. But this time round, it was a more hassle work because we need to hid from the birthday boy. Another round of preparation awaited me. Omg...
... to be continued.
