Morning collected the LCD monitor. As I slept around 4 am just to change cheese from snowball to gingerbread once MH tournament was over, I almost overslept in the morning. Then the deliveryman was shouting and insanely knocking the door outside my house. Gosh, didn't expect them to arrive so early in the morning though I agreed to the timing 9 am - 1 am.

Manufactured in Oct 2013, that's 2 months ago! Definitely a new set.
大到感覺桌子開始窄了
The installation was super easy! Just one action - slotting the stand to the monitor's back to join both assemblies together. It's the easiest installation I've seen liao.
Nonetheless, the monitor is huge! It's bigger than I've expected though I've used the 23" Apple cinema display before. The image looks so beautiful and crisp. Nevermind about colour accuracy first... Just by looking at the size already makes one happy. ^^
Due to the display ratio of 16:10 being close to the golden ratio of 1.618, the monitor definitely looks pleasing to eye physically. Till now, I still find 16:9 looks weird, kind of flattened as the height is a bit short to my liking.
But I suppose as this belongs to the mid-range of the product lineup, certain quality issues remains to be resolved, such as the gap between the casing. It was worse than the previous LG monitor I had where the top right side has a gap that's slightly larger than the top left hand side where the assembly was perfect. It is thicker too, for some reason which I do not know. The older LG had a slimmer profile which is nice for my computer desk.
Another thing is that it's cooler than the previous monitor, so power consumption isn't a problem at all.
Lastly, when opening a webpage, this 24" monitor wins hands down! See a lot more information could be displayed by it compared to 1440 x 900.

果然不一樣喔
而且IPS視角真的比TN大
相對而言在Dell屏幕上色偏不嚴重
幾乎可說是無色偏
The old LG had been passed down to sis and she's quite happy with it. Coming from a 18.5" 16:9 monitor, in terms of technology, it's a downgrade. But when comes to size, it's definitely an upgrade!

URL: 45 Singapore Cafes to visit at least once in your lifetime
Ytd PG shared this article on 45 cafes one must go at least once in a lifetime.
Looks good. But I only went 9 out of the 45 listed cafe (or 20% done).
#2 - Group Therapy
#8 - Food For Thought
#11 - Kith Café
#17 - Forty Hands
#20 - Paris Baguette Café
#33 - Chock Full of Beans
#39 -Wimbly Lu
#40 - Oriole Café and Bar
#41 - D'Good Café
Of course, I did visit other cafes which aren't mentioned by the article as well and they are equally good as well. Examples include I am cafe, Drips Bakery cafe, etc...
After getting a job and when I want to relax, this list would probably serve as a good suggestion where to go to relax myself and spend the weekend afternoon with friends.

Yesterday HL sent this through WhatsApp. Today Bay also shared it through the same channel.
Apparently, this has been circulating around the Internet and gained lots of discussion as well. Must be some rich family wanting to find a nanny cum driver to take care of a small child. It's a stay-in job. At Sentosa Cove. Pay is good. And there's a car to drive!
Compare this to NSF job. Also stay-in. But it's in camp where no nice scenery around. Pay only around $500-600. No car to drive and worse still, there's IPPT for you to clear.
Really the best job one could find in SG liao.
