Reached NTU 11.30 am and just nice the morning convocation was about to finish. Didn't wait for long for people to come out.
Suddenly HH whatsapp at 毒舌婦 saying he lonely at Starbucks and asked people to find him. Then he private whatsapp PG asking where he was. Aigoo, think he knows got people coming to attend Nicholas's convocation ds. Then after PG bursted out our whereabouts, HH immediately flew here. Saw him on the stairs 東張西望 lookong for us 就覺得不行去, took a picture before PG told him to come down.

Nicholas said meet at SBS lobby instead. Weird that Nicholas's mum doesn't want to take photos at outside auditorium? Anyway we went there lo.
Nicholas, his mum and HH don't know do what, but apparently both me and PG went to take food first. Yang to see that all food was available given that the rate of food disappearing is very fast at convocation ceremonies. Couldn't find a place to have the meal, so we moved outdoors to the wooden benches there.
It was my first time seeing Nicholas's mum. She commented that HH has slimmed down liao when deep in our hearts we think HH has gotten fatter. Then don't know PG or Nicholas went on saying that maybe it's the black polo that HH wore today lol. 全場大笑的說……
Went back to take those we thought were the nicer food, found out that almost everything was wiped out by the crowds! Left 米粉 and the crossiant + sausage combo aigoo... HH managed to come up with some egg tarts and brownies somewhere, 我走了一圈都看不到，不懂他哪裡弄來的？

After the meal, we went to have some photos taken at SBS lobby before moving inside the TCM clinic. Over there I was surprised to see Hwee Yeng there - she also attending her bro's convocation. Nicholas also know her bro though. 世界真小啊！
After that, Nicholas continued his second convocation ceremony which was internal one. Me, PG and HH went to Starbucks to chill. Enjoyed their offer of getting a free caramelised walnut cinnamon swirl with purchase of their new venti-sized Fizzio beverage. So bought a Fizz Yogurt Mango Juice ($7.10) - quite light and refreshing, definitely the opposite of the usual dark mocha frappe I always had. PG had his usual matcha latte fix - but this time's cold. HH bought some passion fruit tea thingy, but he complained that the system didn't capture his cup count. Went to ask the counter and they told him to write email to explain instead. Aigoo, HH was so sagged about it lol. For me, I couldn't care less about the cup count hitting 8 to redeem the mini card. HH has so many Starbucks liao, still need to collect more for what? Aigoo... And I feel that the money could be better spent elsewhere getting healthier activities lor. Those Starbucks drinks aren't very healthy to begin with.

Both HH and PG quite interested in getting a Xiaomi phone. PG wanted to replace his aging Samsung S3 phone - use until the screen protector can drop off baituo while HH was considering to get the Redmi 1S for his godmum.
Sat there till 2 pm then we moved to NIE to send HH off to lesson at 2.30 pm. Was shocked to see ‘腰痛’ at Student Services Centre. She was coming out of the building when we were about to enter it. Then she was also shocked that she couldn't say anything. I asked 你的腰還痛不痛？she couldn't answer me LOL! What a funny sight. But I think she wanted to have a bigger and shocking reaction but I guessed she got a male friend following her along, so everything had to be 收斂一些。拜託～～
Spent some time at the printing room there. Asked HH to help me print the Raffles City instagram contest letter. Then ‘腰痛’ reappeared again, after calming down and then asked us what were we doing there. It would be so funny when we said 來看你咯！她會完全不行去～

Then we went to the NIE canteen - which was the second time after I last visited there in year 1 sem 2 to get the Japanese level 1 teaching book. Aigoo, 時光飛逝. The canteen didn't change a lot. Still remembered had my first meal there - the western spaghetti! Not bad ds. Were sagged by the aunty when she said teh bing sold out. Aigoo~
We then went back to Starbucks as PG wanted to get a second drink. But the moment we sat down for less than 5 mins, i.e. after plugging in the Samsung charger which HH lent to PG to charge his phone, Nicholas said he was done with the convocation and asked where were we!
My reaction was just '!!!!!!'
Without much rest, we moved out again to walk back to SBS lobby. There we had our second part of buffet. The fruit tart was jinja nice! And the tuna with the crossiant too! Loved these two! But again, even though this one is internal convocation ceremony, 食物掃光速度一點也不輸給外面的咯！After finished my plate of food, went back wanted to get more fruit tarts for PG to try, to my horror almost everything was wiped out cleanly ds!! Baituo! 也太誇張了吧！Left some 蝦餃 and samosa lor which HH would HD!
Then went to help Nicholas to take more photos before me and PG shifted ourselves out to sit in the main SBS lobby. HH whatsapped over saying his class has finished 10 mins before 3.30 pm. PG was surprised. What's so surprising neh? This is NTU style wor, lesson usually ends 10 mins before the timetable time de.
We sat there waiting for the 4 pm crowd to come, so that those catering aunties would open up the covers for the public to take food lol. The afternoon one was different from the morning one and we get to enjoy both! At this time, HH came over and PG helped him to take the remaining 蝦餃 from the TCM internal convocation one, because HH doesn't want to go in and take by himself. 拜託，要吃卻不要擺動身體，搖進去拿食物的說。The second time, HH followed PG in to take more 蝦餃 but as Nicholas was inside, Nicholas helped him instead lol. *facepalm-ing, learnt from the passer-by guy who said facepalm moment lol* SSF, HH really took a lot leh. 哎喲喲，吃醬多蝦餃，那個膽固醇不懂有幾多咯。 Hoho, the goreng pisang wasn't bad!
Then Nicholas was done with his activity at SBS lobby. HH was super undecided whether to sleep in hall today or to just go home. I said better decide fast fast coz Nicholas and I need to go town chill de. Somehow the conclusion was that either way HH needed to go back hostel to get the passport hohoho! 越來越厲害料hor？！竟然都會帶護照去宿舍的說！So I said might as well go hostel and 參觀參觀 there and then make use of the time taken to decide lor. Aiyo, 醬簡單的說。We then took red line shuttle bus to Hall 1.
My first impression of the room was that it's not bad! The room is quite big until got space to put a mahjong table or at least sleeps at least 2 more people. But the bed size is so small! Even smaller than the single sized bed I have at home! Omo, imagine HH sleep on it, 不用轉身了咯！HH complained that he sleeps on super single at home ds. LOL~ The shared toilet wise isn't too bad, at least can lock on either side of both rooms.

Anyway, he was 碎碎念 on his hostel stay there la - lamenting from the small bed size, to spring cleaning, to don't know who's the guy who is sharing the toilet with him - HH hasn't seen him before. Perhaps maybe NTU hasn't start school yet ba.
Just before we left the place, HH asked who wants to use the toilet can use and he is the one who will clean up the toilet afterwards. Then PG jin du say coz HH is the one cleaning, so can anyhow use the toilet. HH 完全炸掉去……哈哈哈！
其實住hall還蠻不錯選擇的，如果時光能倒流回去大一或大二，我還真的會慎重考慮住一個學期的說。
We took the green line shuttle bus which goes to Pioneer MRT. PG dropped off at JE to meet WX to go Bukit Merah, got dinner with his army friends. The remaining three of us went to Raffles City to redeem vouchers. HH rolled eyes when he knew almost everybody took part in the Instagram contest and won some vouchers! LOL~ He was so sagged by it! Learnt from the concierge that the capitaland vouchers only can be redeemed at the end of the month. Aigoo, why go so much when you can issue the vouchers to us straight away?! Waste of resources IMO.
Went to The Cathay. To our dismay, Assembly Ground was closed today! Aigoo, jinja saggy and disappointed. I should check out the opening hours of the cafe beforehand lor. Anyway, Nicholas saved the situation by saying he got craving for Popeyes fried chicken. Went for the weekday specials. $3.90 for 2-piece chicken meal, complete with a $1.50 topup of Fanza drink.

Had some HTHT talk. Both me and Nicholas were quite curious about HH's financial status. Though he's earning more than me, it seems to me that HH has totally no financial planning. Look at how he allocate the money for savings and expenses, I can only shake head. 你要花這樣多，可是你也在存那麼多，哪裡來的錢給你花啊？給你多少錢都不夠花啦，因為你都會花在一些很奢侈的東西上。
I was shocked to hear that every Monday he would go Bedok Mall to get something good to clear his Monday blue off, every now and then he would buy gong cha! Eeek!
Then everyday he spent about $2 on two handrolls (he said that's the only food he eat in school coz the rest he doesn't like) and about $2-3 on drinks. He said that last time when his office was on level 2, he forced himself to drink plain water because canteen is 'far' away in the sense that he needs to climb up and down to go canteen. But he explained that he cannot survive on plain water, so after his office seat was shifted to ground floor, he goes to canteen to get flavoured drink everyday. Aigoo, like that one day easily $10 in addition to transport cost liao lor.
Then he revealed that he spent about $30-40 on the gong cha for every student in the form class! $2.80 per cup wor. Then for the capsule pens, he said it cost him US$0.20 each and he ordered 300 pieces. But because of the time, he chose the fastest shipping available but didn't know that fastest shipping option was so expensive! Wow, that's a lot leh! But even so, it was not enough to distribute to every student he teaches before. SSF ds... 以前我老師如果是最後一天也就這樣過去，他還蠻會花錢一下。
I advised him to discipline himself by setting up a spreadsheet to track his daily expenses - one would be surprised by the amount he would have spent in a month under these 'daily expenses'. So don't look down on it just because it's just small amounts of money buey yao kin la!
He also wondering when he can earn more money, i.e. the promotion. I myself also wondering the same question. Haiz, 錢真難賺啊！
After the dinner at close to 8 pm, he went home and both of us walked back to City Hall. On the way, it's my turn to rant about my job. Aigoo, 家家有本難唸的經啊！But I guess the Nicholas would be far worse off, so why the need to compare leh?
Was quite yang when the orange tart was presented to us. It's very unique because I haven't tasted such tarts before elsewhere.
Damage: $0 (claimed it at $1 on sugar app!)
Went back to City Hall MRT before we called it a day! PG was already home by 9 plus lo.
