Saturday woke up rather 'early' @ 8.30 am. Ok la, it's not that early because I could have slept more given that it's on weekend and I didn't have to work... But this has always been my habit whenever got guests staying overnight at my house. Hohoho... Blame on the habit lo.
So the activity for Saturday was to visit Gardens by the Bay. Left house at 12 pm. Only one car going there first, sis and cousin went there by MRT. The weather wasn't very forgiving, quite hot. Heng everybody got apply sunblock lotion I bought from Korea *yang*, if not... CHAO TA liao! Aigoo. By 3 plus already finished most of the attractions there, sitting near to the entrances of the two air-conditioned domes, waiting for the rest to arrive.
The previous visits to Gardens by the Bay always ends up without going over to the neighbouring Marina Barrage, which I think it's a very nice place on its own with the greenery grass patch with vast blue sky - great to enjoy outdoor activities. The hindering thing is that it isn't very accessible from outside unless with a car. But this time round, with some time to spare in the late afternoon, we were able to pay a visit to Marina Barrage! ^^ Uncle's family also arrived not long after.
The place was super windy! Perfect for flying kite or to enjoy the scenery around Marina area. The wind was blowing almost constantly and we couldn't take photos for a few times due to the wind messing up our hairs. Nonetheless, people seem not to care about the wind and continue to enjoy their late afternoon there - the place was quite crowded too.

Omo~
I guess at night it's also a good place to watch the night skyline and to oversee those lights on ships off the coast ba.
Aigoo... Accidentally parked at bus designated parking lot, didn't know the bus driver heard us talking about the lot.
Fortunately, we were about to leave and the lot was available for it. 6.30 pm left the place.
Went MBS and parked the car at the open carpark. *They should build a multi-storey one* 停車都麻煩啊!!!The queue stretched from Bayfront Avenue to Marina Boulevard! Luckily Aunt's car managed to squeezed into the road junction but in turn caused a little bit ofobstruction. Aigoo~~
Sis they all went to queue up to buy
Was surprised that we arrived just in time for the water musical fountain show, which started 30 mins earlier than the expected 8 pm!
Omo~ But by then, the audience stage had been filled up and we could only watch the show some distance away. 每次來看內容都是一樣的* Lasted for 15 mins only.

The day ended with a dinner at Blk 492 there.
Damage: $0 (total $139)
2 March 2014 (Sunday)
The programme for the second day of the weekend was to go Sentosa! 孖仔 wanted to have fun in SG - shopping or sightseeing don't seem to suit them, guessed Sentosa was the top choice for them when they visited SG ba.
Fortunately parking at RWS proved to be a lot cheaper than elsewhere on the island with the charges slapping onto visitors so easily as though there is no limit to it. Entrance charge one time, parking charge another time, even taking those rides also need $$$$. Everything is about $$ on Sentosa. Heng the buses were free to take, so that's not so bad. Otherwise $28 parking fee is almost RM73,
Went to take a few pictures around the USS entrance before going over to the S.E.A Aquarium. The weather was a perfect sunny!
We then looked for a place outside 馬來西亞美食街 to sit down and jiak nasi lemak for lunch. After that then go buy the tickets, upon reaching the counter, we then realised for foreigners there's a 10% off if they could produce passport. But relatives didn't bring along passports with them and all the passports were left in car. In the end went back to the car and retrieved them. Sag...
After much troubles and hassles, we finally entered the aquarium ($38). Only me, sis and all the relatives went in. Bro said he got meet with friends at 4 so he not going. Parents also not going and they will wait until promotion when price is cheaper. The aquarium wasn't too bad if viewed it solitary but the Busan Aquarium also almost 100% same as Sentosa one and it's only about half price. Omo, see prices are so inflated in SG...
Another thing was the amount of crowds. SSF, the whole place looked like wet market with people talking, shouting, squeezing here and there and everywhere. The exhibition glass was only this big, but people are 爭先恐後 to catch a glimpse and taking photos with the marine animals. That giant Pacific octopus must be jin sian and embarrassed because so many cameras were in front of it and the flashlights kept on flashing, which totally isn't its nature environment.
Oh ya! There was a video being repeatedly broadcasted onto a big display describing a species where a mother cichlid fish would hide her children fishes in her mouth when a danger is present - first time knowing this. The speed of hiding all of her children into her mouth is so fast!
Exited and left the place at 4.45 pm. Waited for relatives as they were making a trip inside casino. Meanwhile bought the vanilla cone for $1.20. *Didn't know it's this expensive liao omo! O.o* Cousin spotted a McD coupon which allows him to redeem a free vanilla cone. Initially he wanted me to HELP him to get the vanilla, but I persuaded him to try to communicate with the service crew. Volia! He came back happily with hand holding onto the ice cream! Omo...
After that took the free shuttle bus to Luge ride attraction. 3 rides for $20, not very cheap ds. Kinda agree that one ride is enough le, because 3 rides can be quite time consuming, somemore can save money too. Nonetheless, it's very fun and really enjoyed myself during the ride. Took the longer 688 m route then the 628 m before going back to the 688 m route. Reason being, want the most bang out of the buck lol...
Not only the downhill ride is super fun, the uphill cable car ride was breathtaking. The scenery behind the gondola at the sunset was FANTASTIC, SPECTACULAR and very BEAUTIFUL!
Damage: $59.20 (all expenses at Sentosa)
Left the place at 7.35 pm after about 1 hour 30 mins of fun and finally left Sentosa around 8 pm. Very curious about the actual parking fee at RWS and it turned out to be $28! Came back to have tze char dinner at Blk 442 downstairs *didn't see JX there*. Uncle also came over to have dinner together.
Damage: $0 (total $131)
Tired yet need to wake up at 6 am next day to go work. Definitely Monday blues...
3 March 2014 (Monday)
After work went to Central @ Clarke Quay for Korean dinner feast at 6 pm. Morning the rest of them went to JE for shopping, then afternoon, sis and the cousins went to Bugis to shop for youngster stuffs. They arrived around 6.30 pm.
The twins bought a pair of shoes and a shirt - it's 'weird' looking one lol. Then 表妹 bought herself a phone cover I think.
At Tae Woo, all of us wanted to try out the 짜장면 ($12) except for the cousins who don't seem interested in Korean food, so after our persuation, they shared an upsized bowl (top up $2). The response I received from them was that both sis and 表妹 gave their thumbs up after trying the noodles while the 孖仔 don't think it's nice. Aigoo...
Oops, no photo of the noodles, can always refer back to old post. They are all the same.
Damage: $20.50 (total $58.50)
Anyway, the twins wanted to try out fast food here. In the end went to Burger King downstairs while the girls continued shopping. The twins came back with a burger set and a few grilled chicken wings ($4.50). They thought the grilled chicken wings 騙他們的錢 because it's so expensive (it's over RM 10 for just 4-5 pieces of small drumsticks baituo)! LOL~ I already warned them that the chicken wings @ BK are quite expensive and only buy if really wanted to try out. If not just order the burger is enough. Now they complained 吃不飽…… *I don't know what to say good~*
Then whole lot of us went around Clarke Quay and Boat Quay to snap photos. Let them see another side of SG and not just Gardens by the Bay and MBS and Sentosa... They're quite beautiful at these places at night and definitely photo-worthy ones.
After which, we continued our way into Fullerton Hotel (yep the 6-star hotel). They were fasicnated by the toilet! It's super clean and very nicely decorated - it looks quite atas ds. Finally we ended up at One Fullerton where they could oversee MBS, Singapore Flyer, Esplanade and also get closer to the famous Merlion. Of course all these were recorded by photos taken with our phones! Hehe...
So without further ado, I shall let the photos do the talking (tired from typing so much out):
Actually we were stuck here for quite sometime. We wanted to take a group photo of the hotel and therefore need to find a passer-by to help us accomplish this task. But those passer-bys can't take good photos ds, they were either blurred, can't see the hotel name, slanted, not centralised etc. In the end, tried a few passer-bys including both Chinese and ang mohs before we had some decent looking ones.
On our way back from Raffles Place by MRT and then by bus 334, they talked about the way local and Malaysian dress up themselves. While it's nothing wrong to have a few buttons unbuttoned on the shirt, it would definitely look nicer and smarter rather than sloppy if all except the top one are buttoned up. Keke... 表妹 commented locals here dress up quite well ds. *We have lots to catch up with HK, TW, KR and JP! They dress up even better ds. Can't blame ourselves, but the unforgiving hot and humid weather doesn't help.*
Sent 孖仔 back when sis and 表妹 went home to bathe first so that I didn't have to wait for my turn. It was already way past 10.30 pm when I reached home ds. 累到鬼 and there was safety course next day which is today!
That's all for the weekend.
