Short JB trip: Bak Kut Teh + Desaru

Woke up early at 6 am (難得看我這麼早起身) on National Day to go JB to try to avoid the traffic jam on the causeway. Went to pick up 大姨 before we set off to the Bak Kut Teh eating place at Kota Tinggi.

A bit information about this Bak Kut Teh and why this particular stall:

This stall serves the Malaysian version (SG version is white and clear and got add pepper one) of Bak Kut Teh from morning till 11am. Closed on Monday. The location isn't very convenient and it's quite ulu IMO. Surrounding the stall are the oil palm trees! No other things liao. Can imagine how ulu can it be?

Heard the stall owner also staying at the stall, as the stall and the houses are adjacent to each other.

Business was very very very very good! Could see a lot of SG cars around. Parking is an issue, so people anyhow park lo. 馬路對面停的車子的車主全都是來光顧其店的。The place is not very big and the crowd was too big, so need to wait for seats. Need to queue to order food, even go toilet also need to queue! Spent about 40 mins before food was served.

By 9 am, 什麼都沒有了。豬肚賣完了、豬腳賣完了，後面還有那麼多人排隊，生意好到這樣的程度。

店名就是「強記肉骨茶」

食客絡繹不絕，店面門庭若市，點餐要排隊，找位也很靠耐心的

熱騰騰的肉骨茶當早餐簡直是一件很開心的事！

They have this XO Bak Kut Teh, not too bad. I mainly ate the normal version one. Oh ya, 油條浸在肉骨茶後很好吃下的！Had their 自製烏達, 賣相不是很紅，吃起來還蠻辣的。

After breakfast, went to Desaru Fruit Farm, not far from Kota Tinggi. Savoured the 貓山王 durian there, the one I had cost RM 74! But nonetheless, it was really really good!

Fruit Farm nothing to see one, so we went to Desaru beach, it's even nearer to fruit farm than fruit farm from Bak Kut Teh place. The beach wasn't big and lots of people from the resort having fun there. Compared to East Coast Park, the waves there were bigger coz bigger sea now. But it's not wide enough, 走幾步就進水去了。

Came back to SG at 6pm after some grocery shopping. Got time to catch the NDP show - it was really boring. I only looked forward to the fireworks. But still, other than the interestingly looking love-shaped fireworks, the rest seemed really normal. The songs were total flop, they even try to remix the National Anthem? 還蠻難聽說真的……
