Ytd, borrowed the SATA to USB convertor, luckily still can manage to copy out the personal files (supposed to be my backup for Windows 7 upgrade works) onto external HDD.
This morning, did some tests to see is it HDD problem. Found out from CrystalDiskInfo that I need to be cautious about the HDD. The WD DLG DIAG program found some bad sectors, but couldn't rectify.
The above results made me felt compelled to abandon this HDD and change to a new combination = SSD (for OS) + conventional HDD (for storage)
Any comment on this combination? What brand of SSD should I go for?
Now, have to try startup the computer again see can login to Windows.
Haiz...
