30 July Starbucks complimentary birthday cake
Went to Starbucks @ Rochester Park to redeem my complimentary birthday cake before heading down to HH's chalet.Surprised to see this - it was almost full house - thought not much people will patron there. Ordered a hojicha with earl grey jelly drink (need to pay though :( ) and chocolate peanut butter stack ($6.80 but F.O.C.).

The drink was still nice as ever but I can't say the same for the cake. It tasted rather nice initially, but the caramel on top began to made me sick of the taste very easily. But nonetheless was a nice try lor.
30 July - 1 August Chalet
Was watching Olympics somehow and reluctant to move out of house. LOL... Don't want to go down to chalet so fast. PG also moved out late.After the chilling at Starbucks alone, I continued to move off to wait for Nicholas at Aljunied MRT. Gave him some time allowance to bathe, pack and travel to and fro home.
Upon reaching Costa Sands Resort, saw HH, PG, ZX, Sebastian and HL playing sgs. Ok, me and Nicholas took dinner first. Then the whole lot watched channel 8's 花樣人間. Lol, watching TV at a chalet. =.=
Then continued some games, diamond dash before sleeping. Oh ya, we also watched Olympics events. HH was totally 不行去 - kept playing sgs on iPad till just before sleep and immediately after waking up... OMG, 完全不行去.
HL didn't stay so she left home.
Woke up shivering because no blanket and air con was blasting at 18 deg C. Really beh tahan, so woke up rather not too late. Breakfast with Egg McMuffin at nearby McD before I go home then go ice skating.
Then I headed down to Tanjong Katong to meet up the gang for dinner. They wanted to have 주신정 for dinner @ Katong. So ok lor, we went there lol. HH didn't go because he will not fall for Korean food, 不行的說.

第二道菜上桌是김치전(kimchi pancake)，$20，很好吃，但美中不足的是不熱的！
熱的話就很好吃的說
돌솥 비빔밥(石鍋拌飯)，$14，普通而已
계란탕(boiled eggs)，$10，這個我家也會做，不算什麼特點了
닭갈비 철반두루치기 (Korean spicy chicken big hot plate)，$40，這個不錯喔！
很得意的西瓜！
Took bus 12 back to chalet from Katong - a long trip. HH was already in the chalet waiting for us. My goodness, he's sick yet eating KFC =.=
Continued watching Olympics, this time round HL commented 'black forest' on the Australian weightlifter Seen Lee. What a comment! And what a scene! Tsk tsk... On the other hand, gymastics and diving were nice to watch also.
This time round, Nicholas didn't stay overnight, 取而代之的是HL.
*Somehow I really wanted to kick Sebastian off the bed, because 4 men on 2 single-sized bed was... squeezy with HH around.
The 2nd night was so much better than the 1st one. HH has been grumpy since he woke up, wth... As if whole world owes him like that, keep on nagging and nagging out of nothing. =.= But I shoot him back at the foodcourt eating 齋米粉 breakfast. Asked about the 齋米粉 thingy, HL replied but he cut back saying 'not asking you'.
Then at the breakfast, he changed face, asking HL why don't eat. I immediately retaliated by saying '明明是你自己剛才問誰要去吃齋米粉，然後說問題不是在問她的。現在又問做莫人家不吃=.= 對不對先？ 很奇怪咧你……' My point is 既然對人家要不要吃齋米粉沒興趣，幹嘛還問長問短，講那麼多做莫？Pek cek...
After the breakfast, me and PG took MRT time - a long journey from Pasir Ris to Lakeside. And so sway, it rained just as I reached Lakeside.
我覺得既然大家都各得其所，舉辦三天兩夜度假屋固然沒錯。但要大家在這三天都在度假屋是有點難度，而且你也不弄節目來 =.= 來客都覺得沒事做 + 顯56789下。
31 Ice skating

Managed to sneak out of the chalet on Day 2. Rushed home with dirty clothing and bathed before I headed out again.
Was rather late, but I had a bit of lunch so I'm not that hungry, i.e. the rest can continue their lunch at Old Town White Coffee Café and I can join in at slightly later date.
Had iced white coffee ($2.50). Sweet, but not overpowering. I would say passable. Can't comment on the meal sets though.
After the lunch and we've got some time, went to a nearby watch shop as YB wanted to browse at some watches. After some comments giving and consideration, she decided to buy one of them as own birthday present ($260++). Not cheap, but it's nice.
But the watch was damaged when handling by the shop attendant, so was told to collect at a later time while she went to other branches to get replacement.
On the other hand, we went to the ice skating rink. Bought tickets with rentals for gloves and shoes ($19.50 for 2 hours, I would say more expensive liao). We wanted to find back the lost memories created 9 years ago when we skated at the same location. We were only sec 3 then.
Remembered during that time, the group was bigger, with Huai'an, Yuan Sheng, Yee Loong, etc, but the rink was smaller. And cheaper too! Vaguely remembered the package was 4 hours one. This time round, the ice skating rink was Olympics-standard sized, i.e. bigger than old one lo.
At the start, I wasn't very comfortable with skating as I haven't really skated for super long time. Kept on holding the parapet at the edge while I slowly inching forward. But somehow, I managed to skate myself towards the end of session. LOL... 無師自通！
Sharon was rather comfortable from the start. Poor me and Jesslyn helping each other to balance and kick start the skating. On the other hand, YB experienced pain on their legs, think the shoes were not suitable for her ba.

2 Aug last IPT training
No more NSMen PTI, decided to makan here and there. The chin up

3 Aug Went out alone
Wanted to redeem the Starbucks new flavour offer. At the same time got myself and relative each a new microSD card.
Took 198 to Starbucks @ Rochester Park. Was horrified and shocked to find the sample drink was so small compared to PG's one redeemed at Orchard! A bit pathetic lol...
After the drink, dinner was turned down by Shi Hao, Bay and Chee Chuan, so decided to go home for dinner lo.

Continued my trip down to Bugis Sim Lim Square where the memory cards were bought. Initally wanted to get extra RAM for own desktop, but after some thoughts, let off the thoughts - next time upgrading of computer would be major overhaul, by then the technology, standard, specification and layout would be different from now. No point.
*有一陣子也蠻想買大一點的顯示屏的，最好是23-24吋。
After which, basically toured around Bugis/Dhoby Ghaut/City Hall, went inside Shine Korea @ Bencoolen, but did not buy anything. After which, also patronised Shine Korea @ Marina Square, realised the same things there were more expensive, guessed due to the higher rental cost. As usual, Marina Square does changed quite a bit. Think Topman moved out of MS and Marks and Spencer is getting ready for opening in Sept though.
*週日出來逛街就是這麼美好的一件事情，不用去跟人家推擠地鐵，逛街也有些呼吸的空間。
