Morning I came in office, feeling a bit uncomfortable, largely because I thought I had overworked by a lot over the past few days. But that's still not too bad. Began to drink lots of water to revert back to normal self.
Evening went down to Kim Dae Mun to have dinner with PG and Nicholas. Last minute then knew Kim Dae Mun had shifted upstairs to Concorde Hotel to make way for the existing food court to be renovated. But to get to the restaurant (yes, it has upgraded from a food court stall to a restaurant, of course not those atas kind), have to walk past those sleazy shops. Who knows what is inside those 100% covered up shops?
I was quite late so Nicholas and PG had their food on table liao - got to retrieve the food from the stall. Had their Spicy Shredded Pork Set ($8). Wah, after relocation increase price liao! PG and Nicholas had their Spicy Shredded Chicken Set and Kimchi Stew. Shared a plate of hot Tteokbokki! All got their prices increased :( And also could see it's much more 冷清 now.

Nicholas was laughing loudly away after I told him how bx both HH niece and nephew are now. Must be trained by HH not to resist any food temptation. But to be truthful, it's not very good for the child lo.
Then Nicholas said HH chest pain and he can't go to work, so he got to take MC. Mum brought him to both 中醫 and 西醫. But really ah, the best and free medicine is to start working on the diet. 一旦瘦下來，整個人都會感覺好許多喔……
Then we moved to The Assembly Ground (FB link) @ The Cathay. PG wanted to redeem the Green Tea Latte for only $1. Actually it's free from the Sugar app! Xyy, without feeling any guilty of having 3 persons just to share a free cup of green tea latte, we went to try out their Cookie Dough cake ($8.90). The green tea latte left a good impression on me. Cookie dough was very value for money - it's so big ds!

Lastly, we walked to Funan IT Mall to search for Flor Patisserie. PG bought $10 voucher to use ds. A bit lost because we couldn't locate the outlet, but the store directory indicated the shop is still there. After much walking around the mall, we realised it's so small that it doesn't have a place to sit down.
Bought Matchago (抹茶ご), Maple-, Earl grey- and Strawberry-flavoured Ice Cheese Tarts. 然後我們閃去 Spinelli because PG also wanted to use the Spinelli card to redeem free drink. Didn't like the Matchgo becuase of the black sesame in, I'm ok with black sesame as it is, but if it's processed and went into other food as flavours I cannot accept ds. Don't know why. The last time I ate King's black sesame ice cream tube, I almost puked. The cheese tarts were ok, in fact IMO, a bit too much le. 我們一直吃一直吃，到最後這三個冷凍芝士蛋撻只有我一個在撐著吃完它而已。他們兩個就掃完Matchago。

Then the condition didn't get better but it got worse instead. Omo, then the Malay AJM suggested me to buy Strepsils to at least alleviate the dry throat condition. I wanted to buy but in the end forgot to buy. Baituo. On the other hand, I still believe drink lots of plain water did actually help the situation.
2014-07-05 Saturday
Today, it was the worst. Woke up in the morning with runny nose, body feeling a bit giddy but throat was better, whole person didn't get enough rest. It was quite jialat leh. But nonetheless, still went out with PG to cafe hop around Dhoby Ghaut area because it was planned beforehand that PG wanted to cafe hop while I wanted to claim those Sweet deals lol.
Arrived at Little India MRT later than PG by a bit. LOL~ Pardon me for responding a bit slow due the sickness today.
Stop 1: Noir Art Specialty Coffee 黑色藝術精品咖啡 (FB link)
This is a newly opened cafe just behind Dhoby Ghaut, but before Little India - along Mackenzie Road. Usually youngsters won't even hang out and walk until this area, so it's relatively quiet - perfect setting for cafe!
Ordered Chocolate drink ($4.50) for myself and shared a Cinnamon Roll ($3.50). PG had the Dark Chocolate drink ($5.50). They were nice!!

Stop 2: Cups 'N' Canvas (FB link)
Wanted to claim this Sweet Potato Latte ($0.60) via Sugar app. PG and WX had it before and the verdict was quite good! Truth was this is quite unique and it's good!
PG sat there doing nothing lol!

Stop 3: Mean Bean & Wicked Grind
We walked to this outlet. While I was getting ready to cross the road, at the junciton of North Bridge Road and Rochor Road (in front of BHG), I bumped into SG and JW! But was on my way to cross the road, so didn't exchange much conversation.
Tried to use the sugar app to buy but the person said only left one cake available for redemption was Red Velvet Cake and it was redeemed by PG liao! Baituo, to avoid sharing the same cake with him, I topped up $1 to get the milo malt cake.

Stop 4: Japanese Curry Express
Told JX and Nicholas to meet at Fortune Centre ds. But as we reached earlier, we went up to recce. Level 1 was OK, but as we went up higher floors, the place got more sleazier and sleazier ds. The restaurant was located at level 3 aigoo. Then we came down to meet Nicholas and brought him up. JX was late so I couldn't be waiting for him downstairs - asked him oneself come up lol.
