Review: 3rd ICT

Day 1 (10 June 2014 - Tuesday):
Book in not very early. TC block is now painted a new colour. Personally I still prefer the former milk + green colour. Still kena caught to go haircut, sian. $2 for some little bit of trims leh. =.= Saw Angus and Kenneth downstairs but never see the rest. Then saw Keith, he said some of them went up bunk. *Very funny that he is ok not to stay with us, but well I'm ok also* So without any further thoughts, I went up to put my stuff and then went down to cookhouse canteen with Henry, Kenneth and Guan Yu. Happy to see them around. As usual, the medics went to Nee Soon Camp for their own training. Henry is still working at NUH now. Kenneth Ow and Guan Yu have graduated and former is looking for a job and the latter is helping father to work as part time. Both are looking for full time job now. Kenneth Ow is looking at some compliance position in healthcare industry... Hmm, seems not bad ds.

Then went emart to buy stuff because didn't have some of the items required. The place was super crowded, I actually wanted to buy them at emart outside de. But the sudden Spain trip got all my schedule messed up! After a long wait at the queue, came back and straight away went auditorium for some welcoming speech by CO.

Then went lunch at cookhouse and in the afternoon had refresher course for a short while before went up rest. Next it was the parade liao. Omg, I didn't have such experience during last time in K9. Ended rather late at about 7 pm liao lor. Kenneth Ow, Guan Yu and Henry jin good life, didn't have to go. 很恶心。Then dinner was catered from outside, it's quite nice leh, not bad. Saw Kenneth Ng, LT and Spencer eating with the rest. Then me and Paul ate on our own before we joined them later at bunk.

Day 2 (11 June 2014 - Wednesday):
Morning 5 am woke up for IPPT. Told bunkmates about my experince and encounter in Spain - I jin xyy when I am the one sharing my experience ds, regardless of the what is it. I mentioned that got pimp(?) or social escort(?) approached me while I was walking along the pedestrian street at Grand Via in Madrid. Of course I just ignored them. Now they used this to keep teasing me. Ssf... Kenneth Ow said it's normal for guys to talk such topics, and those who keep quiet are the ones very pervertic. Then I pointed at guan yu. LOL~ Aigoo this part they laughed le. I'm ok la... rather open to discussion in this area. Then paul said something like soldiers bla bla bla. But i think otherwise, maybe they want last moment of songness? Because the original argument didn't sound logical to me leh.

Aigoo. My shoe laces kept falling out during the 2.4 km run - all those nostalgic memories! Came back with a 12:26 timing aigoo bx. At the last lap caught up to the walking party. Kenneth saw me running he also started to run and paced with me, saying 'walking party' to me but I ignored and continued running - ssf I wanted to finish the run ASAP leh. Regardless sweat or no sweat still also need to bathe one what. Then he also started running so fast that I couldn't catch up with him as I have been maintaining the same pace throughout the run. Eventually I overtook him near to the starting/finishing line lmao. After the IPPT, no time to go back k9 ds and I also don't know if Rex is around that day. Last time only a handful of people taking IPPT, which the whole process was pretty fast. Other than that, it's pretty similar to 6 years ago when I was there. A lot of memories ds.

Then went auditorium for some lessons. Before going into it to find seats to sit down, we went to lion mess and bought 100 plus drink. I saw the uncle very familiar but I couldn't confirm if its the uncle I used to chat to whenever I order food at the mess. Can't keep myself awake and falling asleep. Bx... Same for the rest also. Haha. Then after that went straight outfield to training area. My section was chosen to do the demo which I think overall quite good la, at least a lot of the real stuff later on we no need to do le. But I had no more energy liao - battery flat le lo. And WTF Kenneth went tell the training encik the Madrid joke when encik only asked why my face red. It's because I went through a strenuous exercise please. Ssf. WTF need to put on some camo colours. QS~ Also noticed some 'reserve' or PLT 6 came over to PLT 4. But don't know them ds but got saw them before, one of them is called 'CJ'.

On the way back, was chatting with Ow. This guy kept saying I buy car for him. Qs... me jin poor leh. Haha of course all are joking to make the day pass faster. He said he drives quite recklessly and always got summon. Got once fined for 250 bucks IIRC. But no demerit points la. Aigoo, that's not very tactical leh. Fine is fine but tio demerit points is something need to be more careful. Then he kept curse and swear with the F word on his IA, then he dulan and broke the rear view mirror of the vehicle omo ssf. I can understand the frustration la. But then... This is life, life is fair, some are fairer to the others.

Anyway the day ended rather late. Very tired liao. Dinner was out ration and jiak in coy line. Then Keith quite blur. It was announced 5 mins ago the timing to prepare and he asked almost everything again. Went mess but very crowded then whole lot went lion mess. Closed. And we sagged.


Day 3 (12 June 2014 - Thursday):
Morning woke up slightly later than yesterday. Came back immediately after breakfast to pang sai. LOL!

Then went to a new live range training area. First time there everything is rather advanced to be honest. Facilities are very good TBH. Went canteen to see see look look. Looks very much the ninja van would sell. So while sitting and waiting, began to chat with Paul, Henry and Kenneth Ow. Early in morning talk about some aigoo stuff. Qs. But it's good for general knowledge somehow though. Don't be like some frog in a well like that.

Then talk about religion, housing & starting family (aka future). Kenneth Ow is looking at BTO tampines. Ok now I see both Henry and Paul are Christians, Ow is Buddhist and Angus is roman Catholic. Pretty diverse here.

Then went for the pre-trial before we break for lunch. Went back again to start the training proper. Hurt myself during the process, but just very small external cuts on hand. Pretty satisfied with my score of 14/20 same score with Angus and highest in section! I think the rest also a bit shocked by my accuracy, in fact even I'm surprised by my score, because I kept telling them I wearing the old specs and everything was a bit blur to me that I can't aim properly.

After that, was talk cock session. Can talk almost everything with Henry especially very talkative non stop on anime/manga and his job experience. Very new knowledge to me haha.

Then on the way back (already the last group to leave), this store man from coy A came and sat beside me and we began to talk. Chatted about my ex unit and his ex unit. Pretty interesting that people I meet can have something which I do expect to be in common with me.

Went mess to jiak chicken burger at night.

Day 4 (13 June 2014 - Friday):
Woke up even later today. Because slept late ytd by watching running man.

Went for training. Super tired. Lunch time talked about working with Kenneth Ng and Guan Yu and Angus. Ng working inside MINDEF and Guan Yu didn't receive any reply after sending numerous applications for job vacancies. Then Angus was asking Ng how's his work. Everything ended rather late. Bx.

Then came back after 7 pm le ba, the sun was almost set down completely le. I was last to finish everything. But the comfort thing was that everybody waited for me and Ow, Paul and Henry helped me in speeding up everything. And I also need to pack up to outpro le. In a way was super tired and not so tired. But fell asleep after 1 am without waiting for C and D. Aigoo.


Day 5 (14 June 2014 - Saturday):
Morning woke up started to pack up everything, including removing the bedsheets and pillow case and revert back everything to the initial state when I got the bunk. For the whole week I didn't use the blanket - it's so hot even under the fan blasting at full speed! Then everything in smart 4. After breakfast, hanging out at the cookhouse before going to auditorium for the closing talk.

Kenneth Ng bought the new MacBook Air! When asked the reason for getting the laptop, he said that it's a good chance to try out the Mac and also the laptop is to increase his 'productivity' because he can't really do something useful at home coz of the computer games. Good buy ah!!! Then he is planning to go Japan and Korea later this year with his friends, one country per week. Envy leh! I also want go these 2 countries too!

Ok chatted a bit about past NSF days with Kenneth Ow. So he's the IC of a section - I don't know how things work over his side. But still, I think my days were rather not bad liao. His one still need to stand under sun omo. At least I don't need to and I get to gain at least half day off. So I have no complains. And working with dogs in NS is something unique because not many people could do it, unlike vocations such as medics or infantry. Most of the time, people are surprised when I told them what I did during NSF time and they are eager and curious to know more. This is probably why I feel rather proud of it. Hehehe...

Suddenly gotten the news that it rained and our barang-barang were shifted around! WTH?! So many things left outdoor, it must be messy liao lor since they anyhow shifted. Luckily I spotted my stuff the moment I was opposite to the coy line, where it was not far to the original location. The rest of section their things also shifted to somewhere else. Thanks Alpha for helping to shift also. Anyway, the bag was wet liao. So I can't be bothered.

Then the survey... While everybody was waiting their inputs to be processed before doing the next question (i.e. doing it slow), I was the first in section to finish everything and hand it in. LOL~ So it doesn't mean you got the form and clicker fast means you can finish fast. After that went back to coy line to wait to out pro. Chit-chatted a bit with LT, Kenneth Ow and Paul. Keith was one of the topics, as usual, I think everybody has given up hope to make friends and socialise with him. It's not we don't want to give chance, but it's he doesn't want to give a chance to himself.

Tried to poke fun at Kenneth by sneakily take his stuff again (last time failed, tsk...). He tried to revenge me back, but I did my precautions liao, too bad! Then he said CB after he realised he like a fool, trying to take something that's already hidden by me. Later when I mentioned 'stunt' again, he said he confirm will stunt me back, without a doubt. Omo, don't so serious leh, joking only la.

But I was very puzzled by his actions. Everybody's bag was wet. But why you want to put your bag on top of mine one - just because you said later your car would kena if bag is wet? Then my bag leh? I also put my bag in car, the car not wet meh? This one I can't understand. It doesn't sound logical to me.

The out-pro was surprisingly smooth and very much smoother than the last 2. So I had no complains. After bidding goodbye to Angus and Kenneth, I faster zao from the place to exit the camp. 10 mins later, was at home already. 就這樣，一切已結束，大家也回到正常日子了。
