2015 Week 2 review

2015-01-12 Monday
Morning I was pretty sure that I would be on time. 但是人算還不如天算, that damn NSF was so fast and took the previous train lor. So I got to wait for the next train, but I knew I wouldn’t be late liao.

Went to the meeting place to collect logs since Barry won’t take a long time there. Then came back. Lunch with JM, Joa, GD and Barry at Aperia. Coz I was uploading stuff for colleagues in Spain to collect, left a bit more so I told them that give me a while more and then I would go down a bit later. Actually don’t go with them I’m also okay one. Why? Read on…The stall didn't make the exact dry ban mian I wanted. Very soupy and they add 醬青 instead of 醬油. It’s destroying that food leh!

Then went Old Town to get coffee. All bough their after-lunch, only me and GD didn't get, with GD said want follow me wor. Aigoo, I asked (in a jokingly manner) why follow me I want to be unique leh. Then kena scolded bastard by him. T.T

Then almost reaching office, at around those condos there near office, suddenly he said 'will rain today, according to the forecast'. Then I said he's trying to entertain us. I don’t think that’s offensive or what, it’s really my opinion and reasonable to say that because the car was so quiet so he took the effort to talk. Out of nowhere, he said ‘Fuck you Benjamin!' as if he don't give a damn like that. Then JM still say ‘good one GD’... Did I say anything wrong? It's so boring inside the car that I also trying to entertain myself mah. Next time I just anti-social avoid all lunch out together la, stay in office do my work then go home earlier also good for me when I had enough laughter today! Keke, read on...

Whole afternoon I just entertained Barry and Joa 就夠我忙了. Ya I was ignoring GD ds… Aigoo, who asked him so hostile towards me batiuo. I was eating the 香餅 mah then it created a lot of mess that’s why I put a piece of paper below to hold all the crumbs. Then I told Barry that state of Perak is famous for these 香餅. So Darryll said his hometown is Taiping, so Barry said 他太平你和平 and my nickname now becomes 和平富特大代 or in short form called peace boss… Zzz… 弄到我哭笑不得。

That Reena don’t know today is eat wrong medicine or what, said the moment she sees me she wanted to laugh. Am I so laughter-inducing, funny or easy to bully? 為什麼每個人看到我都要笑或者欺負我的？ Told her my new elongated nickname she also laughing away…

Left office at 6.40 pm. Saggy should have stayed at the bus stop in front to wait for 154. It just whizzed in front of me as I tried to cross the arguably the most complicated traffic junction in Singapore. Luckily 151 came and I took the MRT from Botanic Garden home. Jin fast ds!!!

Had some interesting chat with Bay over Skype and hearty chats over WhatsApp. Ok I shall first talk about the Skype with Bay one. He came over and mentioned 五月天 乾杯. Told him that I picked and sang this song before in KTV, not an easy song. Precisely this was what Bay trying to say - don't see it’s such a catchy yet meaningful song - but when you want to sing it out in KTV. The numerous and sudden changeover from 高音 to 低音 and vice versa makes it perhaps even more difficult than say their DNA or 夜訪吸血鬼 wor!

And then those KTV goers are complaining about this song:

一开始“如果说要我选出代表青春那个画面”这一段不要放太多气，含住。后面以此类推，高潮部分要大吸气不然真会憋死！有时候气不足了可以配合肢体动作来续气。

Yes, TOTALLY AGREE! At the very start, cannot let go almost all of your breath otherwise will be very difficult or almost dying towards the end. The difficulty is also contributed by the rap parts.

I bet 阿信 also knows that he can’t do a absolute increase of the pitch throughout the rap part. So after the first verse of the rap, he actually lower his key and start all over again at the second verse and this rises towards the chorus.

Then towards the end of the chorus, 阿信 suddenly drops his pitch to low tone and finished off the last 2 lines. 哇佬，這邊真的會要我命咧！And then coming to the end of the song also can see some sudden surge or drop in the pitch and this is what makes the song a challenging one to tackle during karaoke sessions with friends lor. Even Bay whom I think has a better range than me and has tackled 五月天 夜訪吸血鬼 numerous times liao also find it difficult.

Told Bay that next time go karaoke can pick this song. Improve the reading speed and also train to widen our vocal range. Generally, a person has 2 ranges - high and low tones. I think a good singer is able to have these 2 ranges overlap each other so that it’s effortless when switching the vocal mode to sing, not only mention that his 氣 must be very sufficient if not can die halfway through the song.

The next point is the hearty chats over at WhatsApp. explodingbelly very bx and bitchy and chatty over WhatsApp lor. Then PG saw zippyzipeng and stormscape uploaded photos at AEIOU cafe at almost the same time, possible instameet?!! Omo!!!! Then he went to tell explodingbelly about this, explodingbelly went ‘jelly’ over it aigoo...

Nicholas, PG and I had some of the most hearty laughers to date lo, all thanks to explodingbelly. WQBX ds...

Bay posted a HWZ link where the TS posted a picture of those internet banking dongles and asked if there are batteries operated or uses solar power. Then got one forumers his reply quite cute:
it draws its power from your body...everytime after u use it..u don't feel weak meh?

Saw someone a bit familiar face from NTU last time. Mech Eng one?
We can use the electric car?!

Morning as usual left house to walk to Lakeside MRT. When I almost reaching the traffic junction - suddenly stomach pain. The thought of able to drive to work prompted me to go back home to settle it. Luckily 98 came just in time so I took bus home lo. Bo bian.

Had breakfast instead while waiting for sis to get ready. Aiyo, the rate she preparing for the day - 不遲到才怪…… Said she would be ready by 7.30 am but almost 7.45 am liao still not ready. Zzz... Dropped her at the bus stop near to MRT, but it was farther than I thought... And then I took Dunearn Road-Lornie Road-Upp Aljunied Road to work. Horrible jam. I just told myself I'm not going to get a car just to go work. It's just too time consuming le. Imagine the time I could save and do other things, e.g. play with phone or sleep. Joa was right about taking public transport, no wonder her car has been sold.

What a close shave at the meeting! Phew~ Then went to the hawker centre behind office to have Pad Thai. 我都覺得不好意思的說。Might as well ask them to go on their own. Joa was emailing the Taiwan hotel people. Aiyo, 幾個中文字都不會打的說……還要WK教。我熱心要助人，結果被GD講坐下來快快吃完它 =.= 為什麼他要在那邊？！Then he still dare to say 'Good' when I knocked my head on WK's car while getting in it. Zzz...

Nothing much happened. At 4.15 pm, the Taobao stuff arrived at my house! Yay! Sis also quite excited. Then suddenly JY appeared at the office when I was about to go home! Passed her the two postcards, one for her one for SG ds. Keke... Then went home le, traffic still not too bad, at least it's moving all the way.

Quite satisfied with the purchase except for the electrical storage box - too small for my extension cord. 而且不便宜咧！ Maybe I'll be better off if I get those boxes from Daiso and modify them lo. In the end only used one of them, the other got to give to mum and see what she is going to do with it.

因為家裡沒有一個 extension plug socket 裝得下！

Xiaomi LED light was so much brighter than I expected! The yellowish light is good on the ambience! Overall, xiaomi's products are high in quality. I very like it!

Was super surprised to see the brand of the iPhone 4 glass protector. Lol... It's the same as the one I bought for Redmi Note baituo.

早上搭地鐵時，聽到 933 DJ 在說日本民眾什麼事情，就算是一些瑣碎的，都打電話給警察。這包括手機打不開，自動販賣機找錯零錢，甚至公廁沒衛生紙！他們也太誇張了吧？！

Today traffic was rather smooth. Rather take public transport to work lo. The only gripe I have is when going home, driving is really much faster!

Reached office as usual. Joa said got train fault at Chinese Garden and the crowds overwhelming the platform. Asked me to go buy sandwich for her lol. So me and Barry went to the cafeteria downstairs to buy lo. Sis also complaining that the crowd at JE was horrible - I don't really what happened.

Raymond was in office, GD came back for a short while. Went out with Barry and Joa to Toa Payoh for lunch. The 'Taiwanese' small eatery shop serves food at some decent price I think not bad ds. But I can't finish the fish fillet rice set ($6). 多到鬼醬！

Went back office, sent some emails before I went out to client office for meeting.

*This week a lot of meetings leh quite sudden and unexpectedly ds*

The meeting was damn long. Went home after that as it was 7 pm liao. Don't even want to go back office le. Joa and her ahlao 也太可愛了吧？I'm only messenger hor, so don't bully me leh!

Saw the news on the train fault happened this morning liao.

SINGAPORE - A Wednesday morning slowdown on MRT train service on the East-West line was caused by a door fault, said SMRT.

In response to queries, SMRT said technicians retrieved an earring and two beads that caused the door to jam at 8am on an east-bound train travelling from Joo Koon to Dover.

It added that trains travelled at slower speeds, and that passengers at Chinese Garden MRT station were asked to alight and told to board two additionally deployed trains instead.

Earlier, commuters had vented their frustration on social media, with a photo making the rounds purportedly showing a screen announcing an additional 10 minutes of travelling time between Joo Koon and Clementi stations on the East-West Line towards Pasir Ris. Others tweeted pictures of long queues at MRT stations. SMRT did not issue any reaction on its Facebook or Twitter pages.

Unbox the Xiaomi box. Everything looks good - I like how portable devices can transmit whatever on the display onto the TV and also navigation is so much easier than before. But can't access to China TV shows, which means I had to look into how to enable that to take advantage of the Xiaomi box to the fullest!

Left house at 6.55 am, reached office at 7.30 am. Heng ERP not opened yet.

First to reach office, even the lights are off. Swtiched on them. Malay AJM reached 10-15 mins later. GD reached about 8 am. Joa and Barry cursing at me because I drove today and the traffic was super bad.

YS said Mrs Siow talked to him saying she misses us! Wow what a great news for today. She's now an adjunct maths teacher at Hua Yi. 十年了真的超感嘆的。

Lunch at some kopitiam beside Toa Payoh Courts. Ban Mian $3.50 very worth! Joa said should have gone to McDonald's to get Sally. Planned tomorrow to get it. I ALSO WANT!

On our way back, Barry kept saying things which actually pointing towards he's leaving soon. E.g. he say still got 2 days then 2 days is very precious 要好好用, split into 4 times with 0.5 day each. I highly suspect it is used for going interviews. The whole morning I think he also not in the mood of working. Don't know what was he doing. A few days ago, when I asked him question, he was scrolling up and down repeatedly, as if not listening to me like that. Even Joa also got notice ds.

The thing is that I agreed to what Joa said. At one point I was irritated by her that I said I'm a cat and is called copycat. This is called the copy cat incident.

Then came back office, Joa and Barry purposely said I changed name called copycat. Zzz... Then Raymond kaypoh also joined in. Don't know what he said la, he sat so far away also can hear. Aigoo... Lastly when JM was leaving the office to site, Joa told her to say goodbye Mr. Copycat which she did! Ssf all the colleagues. This week the colleagues are very weird and I can't explain their behaviour ds.

Then at the teabreak, I was so dumb to ask that question, then big boss said I replace the outgoing coordinator baituo. Then Joa had another round of laughs. Geez...

Left office at 6.50 pm, actually is 7 pm. Traffic super smooth today, much smoother than the one on Tuesday. Reached home 7.30 pm.

PG afternoon WhatsApped over and asked to call to bitch over explodingbelly. So at 9 pm, I called PG and some super hearty laughters over explodingbelly.

Basically, this was what he mentioned over the phone, in summary form:

PG OT, just reached home at 9.20 pm. The first thing he said was explodingbelly very bx. There was a food tasting which had ended a few days ago, explodingbelly asked PG why he have invitation and why she don’t have. Then she said 跟 zippyzipeng 很不爽 wor… Zippy got giveaway, within 1 min PG saw it and then tell explodingbelly. But explodingbelly said no need to compete with the rest because zippyzipeng will treat her.

Moving on, yesterday PG was WhatsApping explodingbelly when the topic was on riding bicycle. explodingbelly wants to ride couple bike with zippyzipeng, then zippyzipeng sits in front, explodingbelly sits behind. A super hilarious conversation followed:

PG: Do I see you at ECP now?!

explodingbelly: Ya, I am! One of the tyres punctured. Now pushing the bike with zippyzipeng sitting on the bike.

PG: Are you kidding me? (referring to punctured tyre)

explodingbelly: Ya, I’m sitting on his lap now.

Omo! That’s quite scandalous leh! Tsk tsk tsk… PG totally went meltdown ds!

The topic is now on Chabuton food tasting event. When asked why not there, explodingbelly asked back why PG didn’t go. But PG replied that because he was not invited and explodingbelly should go because zippyzipeng got go.

Since explodingbelly said she didn’t get invited to food tasting events, PG told storm to come up with an idea where both of them would lure explodingbelly to a restaurant called ‘拉鍊’ selling 拉麵 and located at Northpoint because that’s where zippyzipeng lives. LMAO! This idea very bx.

2015-01-16 Friday
Today is the last day I'm able to drive to work. Traffic was a bit worse than yesterday but still I was able to siam the ERP! Xyy!!!

Again, I was the first to reach office, the tranquility of it really makes it conductive to work.

Went McDonald's at Toa Payoh Safra to have lunch and get Sally! Had the prosperity chicken burger ($8.90). Still prefer McChicken or McSpicy. Then Joa claimed she swapped my burger and hers (beef) and asked if the one I ate is beef or not. 哇佬，我吃雞肉那麼多年了還吃不出是肌雞肉嗎？And she said she opened up the box and swapped the burger, it's so obvious that I can't possibly didn't see it what.

Then I said they all very disturbing over at Communicator. So Barry came back with the replies:

1. Off PC.
2. Jump on PC for 15 mins (optional).
3. Brew TWG tea.
4. Enjoy communicator free days.
5. May be this is the last time we talk through Communicator.

Joa still said in caps: NICE ONE!

Zzz... 完全給他們炸掉去。

Left office at 6.30 pm after some small chats with Alb. Sent Joa home. I was a bit nervous that I steered the car out of the parking lot a tad early and it went mount kerb. Just a very slight mount kerb la.

Reached home only 7.30 am only ds! Yang! Watched a full episode of Hello Counselor while enjoying my fried noodles dinner.

2015 Week 1 weekend (Part II)

Slept at almost 3 am yesterday. Morning mum came in and asked me if I will eat lunch and dinner at home. I thought it was 11 am liao, so after some tossing around on the bed, I woke up and checked the phone - only 9.19 am! Phew!

I now very scared sleep until too late on weekends. I prefer to wake up anytime before 9 am de.

Brother went to work today. Omo, he has worked 7 days for this week liao leh. Non-stop ds. Come to think of it, my job isn’t that bad at all. Just that the very irritating calls can make me moody most of the time.

YZ said he went to sleep early after helping armstoke do work, so that's why he didn't rely to both Bay and my request to come out la kopi. He's in HK ICT now! Then he said tomorrow last day wor. That means Edwin also in ICT now le. Very weird leh, this is the first time I heard can out pro on a Monday one. Then he explained that they are trying to make it into a 8-day HK ICT. Sounds not bad also. But then looking at my situation, I don't mind if it's really 2 weeks. 不用動腦的日子是無憂無慮的哈哈！

PG said Nicholas wanted to go cafe hopping at Commonwealth at 10.30-11 am like that. MCS? Then he and PG go meet those Instagram people after that and I go home? I prefer to stay at home lo.

Then asked WX if he wanted a short chill in the afternoon. He said he go JP to have lunch with a friend, so it’s likely that he can meet me.

Cooked the new Penang curry noodles since mum didn't dabao lunch for me. Not bad but I added a bit too much water so the taste got a bit diluted liao.

Afternoon was busying doing the syncing work. I thought there are some syncing softwares out there to simplify my work. Downloaded the FreeFileSync program on the desktop and it works very well! ^^ In fact, I also extend to sync files with Cowon J3!

In the past, each time when I want to do sync between ext HDD and desktop contents, I have to remember the files target location and also make a backup of such files at a specific location. This is rather time-consuming, space-consuming and also mind juice-consuming! Not good!

Now a significant part of my work on the computer revolves around synchronisation - something which I don’t understand and got irritated easily in the past due to how iTunes works. But not now anymore, in fact I benefit a lot from synchronisation of my work. The notes synchronisation by Evernote and now file synchronisation by FreeFileSync have greatly streamlined how I manage my personal stuff on the computer. More improvements to come - what else can I synchronise?

Was quite engrossed in my work and sky was a bit dark. Told WX that I not meeting him liao. He also ok with it. Aigoo baituo...

Sis saw the following video, very magnificent and beautiful. She asked why Japanese fireworks don't produce a lot of smoke. Of course la, they go for quality ones - more ex lo.

Had homecooked fried rice for dinner - only me, mum eating dinner at home. Initially sis also eating dinner at home one, but last minute she said she meeting cousin to have prata at Enaq @ JE instead. Baituo, 她的份就給姑婆吃咯.

Looking through the bank accounts, CPF outstanding study loan amount, I don’t think I would spend big money this year. At the most is an overseas trip and a new phone. Now I can slowly think should I continue with Android or go back to iOS. Both are good systems but with pros and cons. Can I have all the pros from each of the system and not wanting the cons?

PG came back from the instameet, saying makanarts and eileenongxt quite chatty. the_xw was absent - opposite from what I thought. LOL~ Then PG said zippyzipeng quite aggressive - morning said bojio to Nicholas and PG and then later in the day he went there with a zhabor. 拜託……

2015 Week 1 weekend (part I)

Yesterday was supposed to go down to City Hall to help brother collect 楊丞琳<雙丞戲>預購專輯. Morning woke up rather late @ 11 am. A bit last minute la, but still ask Bay if he wanted to go out with me or not as I have nothing on for today liao. He asked why need to go down City Hall to collect and not just collect (in other words: order from nearby CD shops). I also don’t know.

Had homecooked yong tau foo with 伊麵 for lunch. After that dilly dally for a while, at about 2.45 pm then I went out to collect the album. Just learned today that some cosmetic manufacturers, out of goodwill, will put a logo (a number overlaps of the cosmetic case) to indicate the 'period after opening' (PAO). Those had this icon had a '12' printed, means must utilise within 12 months after opening. So what the skin79 salesgirl said was correct - the sunblock can be kept for 5 years but once opened must finish using in 1 year. OMG! My cleanser also got that logo. So it doesn't mean that such information only females need to know. Males also good to know ok?!

Citylink 好多店都相繼倒閉換上新店。以前的 Man U 店現在變成女性服裝店！還有就是 Cold Stone Creamery 也倒閉了，取而代之的是 Starbucks……即將在 3 月開張的說。要不是還有一些熟悉’老店’如麥當勞，要不然 Marina Square 也變得我幾乎認不出來了！

然後在 Suntec City 走一圈後回家了——因為不是不想逛街，而是那個超大型相框還有海報很zor deng.

Alighted at JE. Wanted to go Big Box but I waited for the crowd to disperse from the escalator first. Saw HL already went Big Box to get her brownies liao. Fortunately I saw that message, so I went straight home instead. No need to lug those bulky items around.

Came back, went run, first time running almost 5 km after a long long time - can’t remember when was my last time running such long distance liao. 我要瘦下來！

Seow Choon shop at Blk 456 closed down liao?!

Evening la kopi with Bay. He thought the la kopi session was called off because I didn’t reply in the WhatsApp. Oops I was on the line, chatting with PG about those people on Instagram. Grabbed weeatfish phone number and started chatting on WhatsApp. 這個人 hor 真的太可愛太搞笑了，恐怕他只在 channel 5 搞笑而已。

Bay asked why the car got D-3-2-L indication on the gear selector, the car he drives only got D and L. I told him that’s gear 4-3-2-1 lor, 因車而異。Then he replied 因道而已, sounds like '陰道而異’ - 我直接對他無言瞪眼。He just laughed away. MCS?!

He said the pay at the Big 4 increases by $500 which my first instinct tells me is that it's not true. But I literally took his meaning which somehow is my occupational habit, I had to make myself clear during the meeting, because they will also take my meaning literally lor. We two had 2 cheese, 1 kosong and 2 iced milo. $8.50 好貴！而且食物也還好而已，其他的比如服務也是還好而已——有時候還要看他們臉色的。Bay said to research on places to eat. Crazy ah, I already driving to his place to pick him up and then drive to the supper place. He just free ride here and there leh. He SHOULD go research on the places to go! 我還覺得去 McD 都還好過的說。

Toured one round around EMR area to get some nostalgic memories. The place didn’t change much, except that the tent at the entrance is now gone. But the same can’t be said to its surrounding - they have changed quite substantially. Example, now there is a big carpark for heavy vehicles just opposite EMR. And at the junction between Jalan Buroh and Tanjong Kling Road stood a high building - I have no idea what’s that. It wasn’t there last time de. Not to mention a new street called Buroh Street was added. Benoi Road was enlarged, now looks quite big and wide. Keppel office still there lol! 真的變化太大了，比 Marina Square 變化還要大！很可惜現在 reservist 不能回到這些地方做回以前做過的事情。那些可以這麼做的，對我而言算是幸運吧？因為我覺得如果可以的話，應該是很酷的事情喔！但最後的 3 個 high key 可以做這些嗎？好像聽說可以耶。

2015 Week 1 review

2015-01-05 Monday
Woke up at 9 am. Last day of my ‘long’ holiday. Well, it’s more like a privilege than an entitlement lo. Tomorrow have to go back office to work. Sian ahhhh!

Almost forgot the berms I wanted will be on sale at 10 am. Quickly camp in front of the computer ds and bought my first clothing from Taobao at the start of the year! What a great start of the day and also of the year! Also noticed that the weather becomes quite nice after 1 Jan too! Previously in Dec it was raining every afternoon. Another good news!

But this great start was dampened by that call. Zzz… Didn’t I tell you that I’ll be on leave till today meh? Still call for what I also won’t be able to answer you much. I must make it clear that please send email to me so that I will have time to read. 真的是煩死了！越來越不想接他的電話，什麼人的電話都可以接，覺得很煩咧！If this continues, I can’t guarantee that no coarse language or vulgarities used.

Mum asked if pyjamas are also available on Taobao. Of course there are, but maybe limited choices. Is S$8 expensive? I don't know wor.

Cooked the last 2 packets of the Thai Mama green curry instant mee coz mum didn’t go market to dabao or cook anything from the fridge. XYY! Next to try is the Penang curry mee!

While I was cleaning the house, I realised the box fan was missing. Mum said it went sot sot and spoilt - suddenly got a ‘boom’ sound and whole house went out of electricity. Batiuo… 那台風扇也夠久了吧，最少十年以上了。

PG WhatsApped saying Sebastian started following zippyzipeng?! OMO!!! News of the day leh!

Went for some runs and then sit-ups and crunches. I should do more crunches because I now then know crunches are harder to do than sit ups!

By evening, all Taobao stuff have been shipped. Mum quite yang with her purchase on Taobao. :) Again, I really enjoyed myself today although I didn't go anywhere else. 自己在家放空或者做自己喜歡做的事情，應該是很多人嚮往的日子吧。包括我自己在內。那幾乎半年在家放空還真的不錯喔，算彌補以前部門修煉少在家的時間吧。

Restless.

Dreamt of driving, I'm the driver, with YS, James, Sharon inside... then somehow got the wrong direction, then u-turn saw Pei Woon driving the car.

LOL... 什麼夢來的？

Almost late. But saw that NSF so I know definitely won't be late. And ta-da! I was on time by the time I exited Dhoby Ghaut. Luckily still able to hop onto the NEL train and bus 65.

Reached office. Surprised to see another medium packet of chocolate rice-cracker! 想想下好像是 Barry 買的……

Don't want to talk about work. It's making me very demoralised. Skipped lunch too. Well, I'm going to slim down so why not. But it's not my initial plan. My plan is to reduce the calories intake, but not completely skipping lunch. A bun or bread for lunch would be suffice but fruits and water would be much better!

The only consolation prize is that I organise an instameet now liao. A first for me. I think I'm addicted to instameet jek. HAHA!!

Bad day at work. I don't understand why 6 plus liao still want to call me. I'm not your call centre or what. Can leave WhatsApp or basic SMS what. Getting more and more annoyed. People just came back from leave, clearing emails and backlogs... Can call or what tomorrow or not?

The weather and the bad jam weren't helping at all. Took me close to 2 hours to reach home. Zzz... Next time must alight at Botanic Gardens MRT liao or check Google Maps before deciding to continue with the journey on Bukit Timah Road. Totally unexpected at all lor. Then the 154 was soooo slow. Don't understand why the bus driver wanted to stay in the inner turning lane. Bus should go at the outer turning lane mah. The single decker 154 just took that lane and finished the turn within that period. I still need to wait for 2 rounds before turning. Zzz... Wanted to go Big Box but cancelled the idea due to all these things. Saw JJC Hsien Wei on MRT - rare.

Reached home 8.40 pm liao. Zzz...

2015-01-07 Wednesday

好聽！

Morning got so many already charged-up gadgets need to be put back to place. Again also left house a bit late. But fortunately that NSF appeared again so once again I knew I'm not going to be late to exit at Dhoby Ghaut to enjoy the free ride. I know this sounds a bit silly and retarded but that's how I keep track of my daily commute. If the NSF isn't spotted, then I have to take out phone to see the time.

Nothing much in office except that they upgraded my nickname from 富大代 to 富超大代. That's the nickname for 2015. 一年比一年慘啊！！哈哈！

Jiemin suggested to go Mcdonald's for lunch coz she wanted to collect the Line character plush toys. I was also tempted to buy lo, initially I was considering to buy or not but after that I just decided to collect everything haha. This McSpicy meal cost me $11.70!

Felt Joa, Barry and Eric a bit strange - 一直在那邊竊竊私語，好像有什麼不可告人的秘密。Then they asked JM what's her relationship with SG. Apparently they saw one photo with JM and SG only (with other people whom we don't know). Looked like JM also got something on - she took a while to answer why the photo. Common friend? Lol...

Then Barry said later evening go ask SG 整個來龍去脈... JM just gave the '無奈 and 我投降你們不要再問我了' expression and answered 你自己去問他咯. The feeling I got is the more people ask the more she looks like she got something to hide lo. Then Joa created a WhatsApp group convo - I'm not inside - and they started chatting. 我很想八卦可是還是安分守己就好。

Afternoon went Kranji site to do some work. Luckily ended rather early left at 6 pm. But my phone dropped while going down the stairs!!! ^#*($%&^@ The only consolation is other than some minor scratches, the phone is working fine. Phew but saggy... :(

End of this year can change phone liao! Hurray!



2015-01-08 Thursday
Morning accompanied Joa to go down buy breakfast and she revealed the true relationship between SG and JM! 果然不出我所料！Barry on MC and didn't come to work.

Meeting was super smooth. Much smoother than Tuesday lo so it's still not so bad lo. Went back office to find Joa for lunch. Told her will reach in 5 mins but I was 1 min earlier! She was so stunned that I reached office so fast LOL. The fact was that someone alighted just outside the gate so I just hopped in and there was no red light. Yang!

Went out to PS with Joa for lunch. She said all of them quite stunned by SG and JM incident lor and it was Jiayi who spotted the unusual. Lol... I said actually the response and behaviour of JM at lunch yesterday is already giveaway liao.

She felt that Barry seems no mood to work liao. Aigoo how about me? 也都要硬撐下去咯，熬多一個一年醬再打算。

Had 板麵 for lunch. The taste was a bit different than the last time I had lo. Joa had Indonesian grilled chicken. Joa wanted to buy some art & craft stuff. Paper Market was closed for annual stock-taking exercise. She left while I went Daiso and Cold Storage for short while before going meeting.

Meeting lasted freaking long 6 hours mcs?!

I badly need a Friday rejuvenating dinner or outing to distress!

Went back office at 8.30 pm to finish off some work. I'm so tired and saggy...

Finally left office at 9.40 pm. So tired le...



2015-01-09 Friday
Today was a bit late ds. Exited Dhoby Ghaut at 7.47 am - almost cannot get the free ride. But yeah, managed to get it. What a relief!

Went down to client office. 另外一件我不是很喜歡做的事情是索取簽名，難過拿偶像簽名好不好？Wasted half of my morning lo.

Rushed back to office to have lunch with Barry. Had 板麵乾. Yaaa... again haha! Love the dry version but I prefer the normal noodles rather than the thin thin ones.

Went home at 6 pm. I also no mood to work till so late. TGIF!!! Again, I can't help myself but rant again - don't understand if you know it's Friday somemore 7 pm liao then why call? It's likely that I won't pick up coz I already left office liao mah. Zzz... Don't let such things affect my weekend mood. Then Uncle came with a surprise - brought 3 papayas. 10 cents each only!!! 虧本生意了吧？！ 堂弟堂妹很會去觸摸我的東西！

Then PG called and leaked some very bitchy secrets among the people on Instagram, especially that ****y! Omo omo omo!

Instameet with explodingbelly (and PG, Nicholas and HL)

Woke up at 9 am. Mum came in and asked Taobao got sell those 蓋菜罩, while I was still lying on bed watching Hello Counselor.

Then I also looked at some other stuff so I can buy all at one go. But saggy the misc stuff holder can't be bought when I checked out to finish everything before I went out for Instameet. Have to spend more time just to settle the payment issue. Zzz...

Was very late for the gathering liao. Only left house at 1.45 pm, just 15 mins before the time stated. They all already reached the place liao, except for HL who only can go there after family lunch at estimated time of 2.15 pm.

PG WhatsApped over to me and said he saw zippyzipeng, the_xw they all at the cafe! Omo~~!!! But then again, I’m going to be late so let fate decides if I can meet them or not.

I only reached the place at around 2.40 pm. Already saw explodingbelly, her ahlao, PG and HL. Surprisingly, Nicholas haven’t reach leh! I looked left and right but didn’t see them. PG said they already left the place liao. HL was a bit disappointed because she missed out on the Taobao offer after I explained to them I was late because of Taobao issues.

At this point of time, everybody would focus their eyes on her taking the photo. 不是更加不行？

She commented that PG was very tall and his hands are long - good for taking top view shots without having to stand up! Haha! Yang lor he...

Didn’t eat the beef, but did try all the other dishes. I would rank the broccoli as first, and the beef as last because I don’t take beef. The broccoli was really really good as recommended by the explodingbelly. The way she told us this is good was so kz and bx that I felt a bit overwhelmed hoho. The ‘goreng pisang’ wasn’t up to my expectation as it was too normal to me hence unjustifiable for the price. HL, Nicholas and I thought a bit too salty. The rest were in the middle of the ranking.

Some of the questions me and Nicholas asked were already asked by PG and HL before we came, bxbxbxbx!! But anyway I don’t know why explodingbelly likes to think that I have been guessing she’s a law student. It was Nicholas who asked her if she’s a law student due to outspoken character hbh...

explodingbelly replied that she is studying psychology in NUS now and is now in her final year. After that, she would continue her masters in the same line. Wow! Bachelors not enough wor? Then she very du - say I look like 30 years old. 我有那麼老嗎？！

She kept using the word ‘gang’ instead of ‘group’ or ‘clique’ when referring to the group of NSFs that zippyzipeng and the_xw are in. LOL! She used the word and then looked left and right and made sure they weren’t around. 這一幕很好笑的說。

After the late ‘lunch’, we agreed to move to some other places as it was still rather early - about 4 pm. We four people walked over to Tiong Bahru Market area while explodingbelly and her ahlao took their own transport - which was unknown as bike or car(?). HL and PG said I 冷落 explodingbelly's ahlao. He’s also called Benjamin. BWalao, it’s not only me, but they all also need to interact with him can or not?! And then hor, he also need to talk more mah, if not also very difficult to engage everybody.

Upon reaching Fassler, we went in to take a look. A first for me, I thought it’s a super minimart selling frozen fish products. I don’t understand what’s so trendy about it and people buying salmon or sashimi and eat on the spot? But anyway, we left the place without getting anything. Then at this point of time, we still didn’t see explodingbelly and her ahlao. Weird… If they take their own transport, doesn’t matter car or bike, should reach faster than our legs ba? I mean it’s walking distance but if go by car or bike definitely would be much faster leh. But we didn’t see them, so Nicholas called explodingbelly to change location to Outram Park.


Stop 2: Roosevelt
Again, we walked from Tiong Bahru Market area to Outram Park, passing by SGH. 100% walking. Both me and HL were shrieking how good the Taiwanese breads are. Mainly because Taiwanese brands are very influenced by Japanese counterparts 所以比較講究烘培過程。The moment we reached the place, we still didn't see explodingbelly and her ahlao. Where have they gone to?! Then they appeared with explodingbelly holding a paperbag from Tiong Bahru Bakery. Omo~! 趁機買東西吃？真的實至名歸的說……

The service also not bad, the waiter didn't chase us out despite we sat there talking and laughing, making noise. Instead, they refilled our drinks. Thumbs up!

It’s a bit interesting that explodingbelly took Bio-Chem-Maths-Economics but majoring in psychology now. She wanted to do medicine but screwed up the interview. Baituo and she didn’t want to take up dentistry. Until now, I’m totally alien to their lingo when it comes to subject combination. What PCME, BCME etc… I only know how to say triple sciences or double maths, or simply ‘Physics, Chem, Maths’.

Suddenly Nicholas dragged me into the scene baituo! He asked explodingbelly who’s not the local here. Walao, I have to explain this again and again and again...

Talked about the overseas trip during schooling times. explodingbelly was so wowed by Nicholas’s course - it’s so unique that I can’t find another person with the same degree on the streets liao. This course also allows Nicholas to go China for a 2-year practical course.

Then specifically on this, explodingbelly said she hasn’t visit China yet but would like to try once. She said she went India 4 times. Nicolas questioned go there for competition is it. HL actually believed that lor. Aigoo, all bursted out into laughter. For explodingbelly, she doesn't want to study TCM. Nicholas was talking about how bad the air quality is in Beijing. Because of this Beijing trip, the conversation digressed into bi sai wqbx. Eww...

For volunteer work. Nicholas said she looked like a local there due to her very tan skin. HAHAHA! Her Chinese a bit bx despite she kept defending herself saying she got A1 last time. WQBX!

We were talking about being known each other in real life then explodingbelly had a super big reaction. Then I asked her what’s so big reaction about it. Then she just bombed me by saying ‘I look dirty’… Baituo… 無端端被炸掉去。

Instagram but I'm not doing Instagram post. It’s like taking the stone and drop it on my legs. I already mentioned that I used to ‘Instagram’ my photos last time. But now is really difficult to do that liao. So many backlogs hbh

She said she still got basketball training at 9 pm. MCS?! Who in a right mind to train basketball on a Sunday night?!

Her ahlao is from SIM and they got to know each other through basketball(?). Really meh? But her ahlao doesn’t seem to be that sporty leh, not at least as sporty as explodingbelly.

I asked explodingbelly who is the next on the list for instameet. The mention of zippyzipeng just put her off. She explained that she doesn’t really know this guy but apparently he invited her to another instameet lor. Aigoo… Actually Nicholas and PG also not very very enthu about him lol… PG said before he wanted to meet weeatfish and zanthera. 應該會蠻三八的爆笑哈哈！

She kept saying she shy shy shy. But after that she just said ‘aiyah, you know’ those kind of self-commentary replies. The pattern very similar to HH. HH always say XX and then ‘no la…’ and smiling away. MCS?!

We parted our ways from here onwards. PG described the scene before I came. He and explodingbelly and her ahlao already reached Sin Lee and shuaneeie discovered explodingbelly if she’s the one wearing floral dress. He was together with zippyzipeng, the_xw that clique at the cafe beside Sin Lee.

Then he came out and saw both she and PG, had some chats before he joined the clique back and they moved to somewhere else. Then zippyzipeng knew about the explodingbelly and PG and came over to see the 廬山真面目. Then he went back to join their clique and realised they were nowhere to be seen. LOL! Then he yelled out loud ‘walao 為什麼沒有等我的？！’ 畫面有一點不行……This scene is just too funny ds. Throughout the incident, the_xw didn't come and was described as shy by PG. Looks like he was really shy lo unlike explodingbelly lol.

We were really grateful that explodingbelly turned up for the instameet because it had been dragging for quite a while le. And today she got her (or her ahlao’s) primary school gathering. Instead of going there to meet those primary school old friends, she chose to meet us instead. 自戀一下，可能我們真的比較可愛、好笑、好玩吧？哈哈哈哈！萬分感激不盡！！！

4 of us decided to go back Tiong Bahru Fassler but it was already closed for the day. Got chance to take a glimpse of PG’s office block. Wah, I think it’s not THAT near to MRT station as I’ve expected. Looks and smells very like NUS S17 lor. Nostalgic!!! As it was not that late, I had some Korean cravings suddenly and suggested to go KDM. HL thought it was rather late as she needs to wake up at 6 am on Monday so she dropped off at Orchard to change to 64/65 then 23 home.

Over at KDM, we had Kimchi stew ($7), Shredded Chicken Set ($7.50) and Fried Dumplings ($4) which I got some cravings for it and treated the duo.

HAHAHAHA you know my heart skipped a beat when I saw that I was being tagged?!! Then I realized that you’re not Benjamin! Haha! Had so much food and fun today!! :):):)

So meaning her heart will really skip a beat if I was the one to tag her in my photo instead?! MCS??!!~~~ The comments all very bx one leh.

After dinner, we went Green Rabbits Crepe & Salad Gastrobar. Ordered the most expensive Strawberry Shortcake Crepe ($6.50).

The lady saw Nicholas using DSLR and I used my LX7 to take the crepe pictures and came over to ask if we are professional photographers. Obviously I’m not but Nicholas - yes! Actually we were scratching our heads on how to get the best angle to take photos because the crepe was really making things difficult for us lo.

She asked how to improve on the visual aspect so to let the food be more attractive to the public. Not an easy task lo. Nicholas went in to the kitchen, gave some suggestions and then borrowed a knife to cut open the crepe. And when we were enjoying the crepe, she came offering Chocolate Banana flavoured crepe to us and said it’s on the house! Yang! 真的托 Nicholas 的福！I like the shortcake ds.

反而我覺得這個比較便宜又好吃！

Cincai took a photo of the chocolate banana crepe with special focus on the banana and sent to explodingbelly. She said she lazy to train. I think she only train for a short while before call it a day. Seriously, why train on a Sunday? Sunday is a day to relax one.

explodingbelly sent a picture of two guys playing basketball at night. I joked by asking if she was one of the guys inside lol.

The boss came over to talk to us. Friendly lo. But I didn’t know they are 'husband-wife’ relationship lo. He said he’s rather grateful for us to give suggestion - like a first since the shop opened. Then talked about how harsh the F&B industry can be, he asked if we don’t mind if he use coarse language - something along line of giving the best out of it and not 'fuck it up'. Then he toned it down by saying 'screw it up'. BX~~ PG totally went high the moment he used that magical word lol.

Then he was surprised by Nicholas’s answer when he asked what are we working as now. It seems that they have done quite a bit of homework before starting up this business. He’s previously worked as event organiser and his ‘wife’ is part of the cabin crew. Actually I can see despite the boss looked as channel 5 as he is, but I feel his Chinese is not bad one as I could see he’s trying to convey certain sentences to us in mandarin. Also, I reckon he’s quite rich.

Didn’t know that small cafe cost so much rent in Orchard Central!!! The day ended around 10 pm. Reached home at 11 pm just nice.

Omo, though zippyzipeng deleted his comment, but I really saw he commented on my photo asking why no jio him when I trying to meet up with weeatfish and zanthera under PG’s influence. MCS?! Why is he so aggressive in meeting us har?

A brand new year - 2015!

Came back home at 4.35 am. 5N was very fast, practically didn't stop at all until Clementi lor. Yang! $4.40 fare is OK la, I feel is reasonable than taking a taxi which I witnessed a lot of vacant taxis did not want to pick up passengers at Dhoby Ghaut.

PG WhatsApped over saying HH only reached home at 5.30 am. That's when I was too tired to continue playing my phone. Lol... Credits have to give it to 5N bus. Nicholas waited and waited and no bus came. He walked home in the end!!! *哇，很誇張咧！不會等到首趟列車才回？* When JX boarded the bus, Nicholas and HH were still waiting for bus leh.

Woke up at 1.30 pm. I thought it would be only around 11 to 12 pm lor. Got a shock when sis came in and told me to wake up because it's that 'late' liao. Mcs...

Nothing much on New Year Day. HL WhatsApped to inform us that there's no more brownies at Big Box liao. She shall wait for new stocks to come in. Dang, should have bought it last Saturday when I visited Big Box for the first time, with relatives. Went down for some jogging exercise. 16 mins 10 secs for a 2.65 km distance run. Not good at all. It should be under 14 mins. 太久沒運動，大吃大喝，真的跑不動了。

Out of curiosity, I went to nearby Sheng Siong to see see look look. Didn't see the M&G pen but the super spicy Korean noodles caught my eyes. 就想到燈等下叔叔嬸嬸一家人會過來吃火鍋，順便進錢，所以就回家拿錢後倒回去買下它。這樣一來不用跑到大型NTUC買啦！順便買個除臭劑。

Just after I settled everything and walking back, saw uncle's car parked downstairs. 原來他們來了。Then saw uncle walking towards the car, he needed to go back to take the tom yum paste. The steamboat session started shortly after. Didn't really quite like tom yum soup. Got the basic taste but not quite spicy. Instead the soup leaned towards the sweet side! Bx... Loved the ingredients added to the soup! 餃子好好吃喔！

新的一年，新的開始。

回顧過去的 2014 年，算是過去幾年來起伏比較大的一年。之前的4年都在讀書，只有一個畢業旅行而已。再更早前，就是當兵。當兵跟工作比較起來，當兵的日子還真無憂無慮的說，所以算起來也比較沒有那麼此起彼伏啦。

2014 年，是我踏入社會工作的一年。全新的環境、挑戰、人物等著我去面對。我不敢說自己在這些方面處理得多好多妙，只能說我懷著‘把自己份內工作做好，人家才不 會被礙到’的觀念去工作的。畢竟自己算是菜鳥，所以很多東西是不能嫌的，就算是逆來的，也要嘗試去接受。我相信幸苦的日子不是長久的，期盼 2015 年，一 切情況會有好轉的一些，然後給自己一個機會好好探索、評估、考慮要不要在 2016 年換工作了。有人說一份工作到底好不好，除了工作性質很重要之外，老闆同 事也是關鍵。慶幸的是，他們都真的是一批好好人啊！

2014 年，是第一次拿到花紅的一年。去年不是第一次賺錢的年份，卻是我生平第一次領到花紅的一年。有一點點喜出望外啦，因為我自己本身沒抱太大的期望，自己自行規劃理財的時候，也沒有把花紅考慮在內。所以真的是 bonus 喔！

2014 年，是旅遊的一年。年中去了西班牙三個星期，而接近年尾去了台灣跟泰國，拓展自己的視野去體驗異國風土民情。第一次跟家人全員出國去台灣，我覺得媽媽好像 喜歡上乘搭飛機出國遊玩了。雖然說這次台灣之旅對我而言沒有那麼好玩，但陪陪家人順便看看台灣還不錯。就當作去那裡做考察要怎麼計劃才變得更好玩吧！也就 因為這樣，原本之前的山窮水盡的情況有所好轉之後，又回來了，我真的窮到不行。

2014 年，是購物的一年。買了一台紅米Note手機取代 Xperia Neo，很好用！然後在淘寶開設賬號，自行網購了！不瞞說，我有少許地上癮呵呵！

2014 年，是周圍朋友紛紛求婚、訂婚跟結婚的一年。James 求婚、Edwin 求婚、HF 結婚、ZJ 結婚、甚至 YS 都有女友了……最讓我意想不到的 Angie 都結婚去歐洲度蜜月，還有就是 You Hwa 好像有孩子了(?)！這證明彷彿時間在我這裡停了下來，再多幾年就會看到誰誰誰懷孕了，FB 的牆壁內容會變得不同。

2014 年，是還債的一年。拖了大學 4 年的學費，終於開始還清它，但一年是還不完的。都怪自己求職運氣衰，如果在7-8月找到工作的話，去年就能把學費還清了，接 下來要儲蓄、談戀愛、旅遊什麼都行。也就因為這樣，我把提升 iPad 的計劃擱置最少一年，自己也變得比較節儉一點。

再看看自己周圍的事物……
2014 年，是一個好多空災的一年。去年 3 月發生 MH370 失踪事件，至今仍下落不明，到底去了哪裡？然後就是 7 月的 MH17 遭擊落而墜毀的時間。到了年尾，大家 都期盼新的一年到來，又發生空難—— QZ8501 在印尼海域墜毀事件。這些事件想必震驚全世界！而自己呢覺得這些事件都發生在周圍不遠處（相比整個世界 啦～），霎那間覺得世界的另一端都風平浪靜的說。

La kopi with Choo + short meet-up with PG

Finally my deserved break is here. Whole day stayed at home with a nap in the afternoon - too tired liao.

Went out la kopi with Choo at 9.30 pm. What a surprise invitation from him as I think we haven't meet each other for very long liao. He has just finished his last exam yesterday so it's a good time to catch up with his friends ba - afterall now is December, holiday mood leh. Also asked PG if he will be staying up or not, to pass him the taobao stuff - they have been idling around my house for almost 1 month liao. But as it was close to 9 pm liao so I postponed PG one to after the la kopi session to avoid being late for Choo's one.

Saw the red light camera flashed when I was at Woodlands Avenue 12 - looked like the car did dash across the road after the red light. But the red light was lit for quite sometime liao leh, the driver should have sensed it and stopped the car. Sway lor... 誰管……

He asked me for the salary I'm getting now. I only told him it's above 3k - that's what almost all of NTU EEE graduates are getting now what. No 3k for an university engineering graduate a bit saggy leh.

Went to Casuarina Curry. Choo said recently got a lot of speed cameras installed. We saw one at Upp Thomson Road, speed limit only 70 km/h. He also mentioned there was another one at SLE.

Then when he changed topic to Casuarina Curry restaurant, I raised my eyebrows when he said he came here 'sometimes' - so meaning he la kopi quite often la? He then clarified that this sometimes refers to the occasions he brought his parents there to jiak prata lor.

Luckily the carpark was not full - managed to park into the lot in just one try with the car aligned more to the kerb. 對於自己的停車技術感到欣慰，呵呵！Ordered a kosong and an iced milo. Though I didn't frequent the outlet a lot but I noticed that the restaurant seems to raise price now. Choo just said confirm got raise one.

The kosong prata came shortly after. 好小喔！又貴又小的說！要不是跟朋友聚一聚，我才不要光顧了。其實跟朋友會面聊天，最重要是聯絡感情，其餘的都不是那麼重要，不是嗎？

Choo thought Bay still work in a bank... Hello~~ That one is during Bay's attachment in 2011 leh. So long ago liao leh. 我們都一致同意他真的好有錢啊！

He was so amused by my colleagues. Ya I told him about Barry 'threatened' me to drink the beverage he bought despite me replied him I don't want any drink after he asked me want drink or not. Then also mentioned about Joa's Fear mongering tactic on me. He totally spewed some vulgarities coz too amused by it liao. Oh well, I rather have people like that than those who play offlice politics one lo. Hehe!

Then when talking about my job again, I thought he didn't know in depth of my job scope. But when he was able to mention that I went to Spain for work training, I was confused already. Did we meet up after I started working and prior to this meet up? I can't remember liao. But anyway he got a good memory wor, still able to remember that I went to Spain before.

He saggy when he said he hasn't cleared any of the reservist. On the other hand, he clocked 2.4 km with an unknown timing so he got 51 points, just nice to pass the IPPT without incentive. I don't know how well I will do in IPPT. Wait for April next year ba.

Talking about the job that he's applying for, it's some event coordinator, so it implies that Choo will not have many free weekends and it makes meeting friends more difficult liao. T.T But in a way, it's similar to K9 days lor.

Damage: $9.10 (total $9.10)
Quite expensive leh! My kosong prata costs $1.20 and that iced milo costs $1.60. Total $2.80 only. Even if factor in the service charge and GST, still also quite expensive for Choo leh. What he ordered har? Also a piece of prata (I think is egg and cheese ba)  and a kopi mah... 能貴到哪裡去.

I think he's using Samsung Galaxy S5 now. I thought he went back to iPhone kakaka.

Somehow we mentioned his dog bite incident while on our way back ds. He got 1 month ATT C, then 2 weeks of  ATT B so that he could go on leave after ATT B period. Jin du lor...

He still got painting works tomorrow to do. Wakakaka...

Then went to find PG to pass him those Taobao stuff.

He went Sync Korean to meet his sec sch friends. Ordered kid's meal mcs?! But he said the jam quite nice which I don't agree. I think it looks and tastes like our economical fried mee lor.

He said a few things very bx.

• 與 explodingbelly 的 instameet 告吹了。原因是明天 explodingbell有訓練，是補回今天取消的訓練檔的。
• HL knows that we have been interacting with explodingbelly she also wants to meet her. 很毒！
• HH spent $400-500 on winter wear. 不講我都沒有想到都要買冬裝，還沒飛去就花大錢了。PG 的看法是其實冬裝可以不要那麼貴的，就是 Uniqlo, H&M 這一類的服裝店賣的冬裝頂多去到 36 號尺碼。至於 HH，他需要 39-40 號的大尺碼，最終不得不從 Pull & Bear 這種比較高級的服裝店買 ang moh size 的說。都說了注意飲食減肥減重，很多問題就一起解決了呀！加上這次一家人去（除了哥哥一家人之外），又不能跟家人還是親友什麼的，借幾套冬裝去韓國。回來又無用武之地的說。只能說他太有錢了。
• 由於人數太多，HH 的住宿分為兩間房。其中一間還是我們在 Hongdae 住過的！拜託！
• 最近 HH 有幾張照片特別有水準，PG 看了就留言咯。豈料引起他的注意，就 WhatsApp PG 澄清都是 Nicholas 幫他打點滴的——從擺好食物、飲料及擺設品之後一路到照相儲存下來為止。然後 HH 看到 PG 只對於 Nicholas 用 HH 的手機拍出來的照片有留言後，整個人變 saggy 去，問道為什麼沒有在他自己親身拍的照片而留言。哎喲喲，當然啦！你拍的照片那麼醜，有些還失焦去，怎麼跟 Nicholas 的高潮水準攝影技術比啊？
• meansegg 也是很不行。據 PG 的描述，當日只有 PG、HL 跟 Nicholas 出席 8 Days Eats 的試吃活動，而就跟 meansegg 一起聊天。這時 meansegg 就問他們是不是還有多一位朋友，被反問回是誰後，meansegg 就提起我。眾人都咋舌去，她怎麼那麼清楚我們的關係啊？Stalk instagram stalk 到很緊咧！
• Nicholas 約人出來陪他‘做工’約到很兇，都是那種撒大網，不管大魚小魚有捕獲魚就 ok 的心態。也是聽 PG 說有時候光顧的咖啡館不值得寫稿出版，所以開銷只能吃自己咯。就算是稿子得以出版，也是很難賺到錢，因為稿費全都拿去貼點餐費用了。說不定可能連車馬費都補補回來。
• Zanthera 跟 weeatfish 近日在 PG 的圖片有很激烈的互動，這一切都被 PG 關注到的說！

2014 Week 48 half-week review

2014-11-24 Monday
What a saggy start to the week!

I wouldn't say I arrive at Lakeside MRT as early as usual, just a little bit late. But my heart went saggy when I see the next train coming in 5 mins! Peak hour and train arriving in 5 mins is not acceptable ds!

PG also took the same saggy train Lok. He totally saggy because he tapped in after 7.15 am so those trips weren't counted as decongesting trips lololol. Now then you know?! Keke..

Luckily still got free ride when coming out of Clarke Quay MRT ds! Phew~! Took 174 to Dhoby and then changed to 64.

Luckily morning nothing big happened. Meeting also went rather smoothly. Sadly can't join Angie for lunch.

Went lunch with Joa, JM and GD at the kopitiam behind for lunch. Ordered bar chor mee ($4), then Joa said she cancelled order for GD. But who so stupid to believe her when there were chopsticks and soup already served. JM found her duck rice with chilli too oily, so she took out the oil. Then GD looked at it and seemed like don't know what was that. I said 'minyak~ minyak~ you don't know what is minyak?' Then GD went exploded saying don't talk to me as if I don't know English like that. So fierce 看了都怕怕……

GD asked why Joa treat me so bad. Ya lor, she keeps 'bullying' me de. Now finally got someone who can understand my concern liao. GD jin du: say Joa not a female. Shrieking out loud. He said he knows how to cook, but JM said he bluff one. I asked what he knows - all kinds of egg and noodles. =.= This one I also know leh.

After the lunch, Joa wanted to go Wang's to buy tissue paper. But it started to drizzle.

Joa kept disturbing me, cannot let me have a quiet environment to work meh? And hor 車壞 yes it's repair. But Barry's car is not 壞, I would say is due to wear and tear and some parts needed to be replaced. Imagine really spoil, the car can't move anymore! Aia, I don't want argue so much with her...

Then came out again around 3 pm, this time round GD didn't come out, so only 3 of us went out to get some drinks. Joa bought lots of snacks, on top of her tissue packets ds. To me the tissue papers are the same, whether they are pocket-, packet- or box-sized. Unless talking about toilet paper.

Alberto used candy box to throw at me coz he tried to call me and I couldn't respond as I was listening to MP3. Aigoo...

Quickly zao from office after 7.15 pm. But let both 151 and 154 off le shuo. Then GD came and the bus didn't see him and zao off also. He scolded 'WTF' and then so fierce say bye to us and zao took MRT.

On board bus, Joa said GD very lazy one. He just want to live near to the workplace lol. We changed topic after this, she totally bx when I tried to rank those people according to their wealth. At first I said 1. Joa, 2. Barry, 3. GD. Then slowly it evolves into 1. Joa father, 2. Joa mother, 3. Joa ahlao. LOL~ She totally burst out LOL ds. Then talked about work stuff before I continued my journey home lakeside. Actually it took me slightly more than 1 hour. It's not that slow la. Just a little bit more expensive than the cheapest way back home and I could save some time lo.

HL sent in the itinerary for BKK trip. 全都是吃的！

PG went into total bx after what Nicholas sent him the whatsapp ss. I didn't know AH is actually G. G still nvm and he talks so openly that if I were Nicholas I probably would ignore him coz too scary le. MCS, just on first talk and they talked for almost 2 hours! He went into talking about age-restricted topics ds. 挑戰又或者說完全不顧尺度，大談限制級話題的說。最近Nicholas很多這種艷遇，真的很不行。



2014-11-25 Tuesday
Morning almost late that I almost couldn't get free ride ds. BX! PG 爆料 say andripedia asked Nic not lonely meh? Omo! Shrieking out!!!

Gon came into office in the morning. What a surprise because I expect him to be at site.

Meeting wasn't as smooth as yesterday one but at least not draggy so it's OK lo. Joa, Barry, JM, GD and Eric went near to meeting place for 板麵. I couldn't wait for a taxi, so walked there lor. What's so surprising, most importantly is reach the place fast. They already finished their food liao. Had their 招牌板麵 ($5) for lunch.

After which went to this gelato cafe nearby. Apparently it's touted as one of the best gelatos in SG. JM and Barry bought the cup one and GD bought the cone. Heard it was Raymond who brought them there the first time.

At first I thought there would be only one car carrying 5 pax. But luckily got 2, no need so squeezy. Phew~

Something not very pleasant happened to Joa and Barry. Ago can't use the 313 vouchers liao. who can I ask to go out with?! Should I go ask Angie next week, must be on Tuesday or Wednesday liao. Most probably Wednesday le shuo. Sag!

HL was at Arcade changing money. From $375 to $370 to $400 mcs, the exorbitant lifestyle the couple planned I beh tahan leh. Massage for 4 hours?! 完全沒有出過的興奮心情的說，被工作弄到很累了……



2014-11-26 Wednesday
Today office no air-con. A bit stuffy lo. Then suddenly got task from big boss. Have to do the summary report for him lo. Joa can't wait for Barry so we both first went opposite kopitiam. After that Joa said maybe should buy back to pantry. By then Barry would be back le and we can have lunch together. Dabao 豬肉粥 ($3.70) as lunch back. Joa had 皮蛋雞絲粥 and she bought some 五香 to share. Thanks Joa. Also helped Barry to 打包鴨飯. Barry told me the stuff I accidentally left at meeting venue cannot be found. How can?

After that continued to do my stuff. Towards the evening, it emerged into just one issue where we three sat down and discuss together. Aigoo, at last Barry threw me some homework to do. aigoo...

Left office about 7.30 pm. Went to Chinatown with Joa, Barry and WK. Me and Barry took CTE down while WK and Joa took the Boon Keng way. Xyy the moment we reached the elevated car park, already can spot a car exiting. No need to wait for so long! They reached much later than us lol.

Didn't know there are more than one stall selling claypot chicken rice. But me and Barry don't know which was the one and we roamed around the hawker centre looking for the most possible candidate. Then I spotted Joa and WK at blue area and asked Barry to tell Joa over the phoen to walk slower because we spotted them and wanted to catch up with them.

So dinner at 聯合本記堡飯 (#02-199). Joa ordered two $15 瓦煲雞飯 and she said she paid for this dinner. In the other hand, Barry paid for the drinks - I had sugarcane drink. 4 for $4.80 ds. So thanks Joa and Barry!!

We 4 ate one and left the other for JY and SG. Lol... Heard from Joa that they 非常能吃 baituo. It wasn't until we finished our big claypot rice then JY and SG reached. Aigoo, 看來他們還真的蠻會吃的！

Talked about work and also for JY and SG to update mainly about what's happening to MM bxds...

Can't leave too late as I need to pack and prepare for flight the next day! 超級興奮的！Wq xyy ds!

Evernote review

ecently downloaded Evernote app on all my portable devices so that I can jot down the notes for my blog as Evernote supports sync across different platforms. I can even edit the notes on my desktop too! That's the main platform to publish any blog posts.

Actually, I already knew and downloaded the Mac version on my MacBook Pro. But back then I didn't see a need for it so didn't use at all. As I have a job now, the need to simplify the way I do things becomes more apparent. Being rather tech savvy, I need to make use the convenience brought by technology to improve them. So far things are doing okay. Slowly and steady, more improvements are on the way.

Evernote is pretty neat and easy to understand. At first I saw the data quota allocated per month of 60 MB, wondered would I use more than the quota. Let's wait and see...

Another lazy Sunday

Woke up and helped father to sell away the two old fans for just $1.70 only. Then took out the glass screen protector of my Redmi Note and repaste by realign the protector so that it's not senget to the device. 看了也心情好一點。我這個人在這一方面就是有一點 OCD 的說。At least I no need to buy a new one.

Saw HH posted the following pic on Instagram. He brought niece to Kallang Sports Hub and Leisure Mall. Aiyoyo, outsiders see liao thought the little girl is his daughter and not his niece hbh...

不說人家就以為她就是他女兒了

Reinstalled firmware version 37.0 on Redmi Note, see the sudden crash of web browser issue still happen or not. Aigoo.

Brother installed Need For Speed Underground 2 on his new computer. Of course smooth la, playing a 10-year old game on a current new machine with a reasonably good graphics card, mcs?! But the game hanged after about 3 mins, don't know why. Maybe the game isn't 100% compatible with Windows 7 ba.

It's only after lunch time then I knew that I have to settle dinner myself. 早知道就安排節目出門了啊，用掉 313 禮券也是可以的說。the_xw went instameet with zippyzipeng, 難道他們認識的？！

Lately YB also aggressive in going out with bf and posting pictures on FB and Instagram wor. At least for the past 2 days she has been like that.

After lunch, it's blogging time! PG also blog, but about food review over at the new blog set up by Nicholas a few days ago. I continued to blog at this one, keke.

PG reported that Nicholas went Artistry today (Heng never go out today ah! Rained so heavily ds) and then shrieked out when 17x_eh and holidaywoohoo were at the same cafe with Nicholas at Rabbit Owl Depot cafe.

17x_eh even mentioned that they came and looked over to Nicholas snapping pictures and went speechless coz of the DSLR! Omo, PG cannot accept and was shrieking out at his house qs mcs. 不行程度分分鐘都在破表的說！

It started to rain at 2 pm and lasted till about 6 pm. There goes PG's running plan. He wanted to run and come over to my house to collect the 淘寶 stuff ds. 順便 meet to go for dinner. But because of the rain, the plan was ruined.

As for today's dinner, had the basic tze char fried rice ($4) instead. Brother couldn't wait for me to go up and get the change so he came down to get the money for dinner with his friend ds. 在一個下雨過後的傍晚，打包炒飯坐在電腦前一邊看綜藝節目一邊吃晚餐——簡直一級棒！

HH suddenly WhatsApped over on 毒舌婦 saying he wanted to watch  Mockingjay and Interstellar but nobody accompany him go watch. The irony is that he needs to mug for Maths and doing Chemistry assignment. Can understand the 'doing Chemistry assignment' part, but 'mugging for Maths'? What's there to mug for Maths? He's training to become a qualified teacher, not as a primary/secondary/JC/university student studying for Maths exam leh. Aiyo, 為什麼不行到這樣？

the_xw posted more photos on Instagram. It's because they got this Instameet with other Instagrammers and they went cafehopping in the east. So they didn't see each other face-to-face before de. Aigoo, when I would have one for myself?

Ultimate Hawker Fest 2014 + Geek Cafe + Sandbank (Bistro) + Pick Me Up Cafe

Woke up quite early (8.40 am) despite I slept late last night, but I finalised woke up at 9 am.

Applied the glass protector for my Redmi Note and sis's iPhone 5S. Perfect for the iPhone - Sis immediately exclaimed that the screen now looks so much clearer and commented that the film is a bit thick. That's the nature of glass protector!

But it's a bit saggy for the Redmi Note. At least I don't see any 'dirt' on the display part of the screen anymore and now some tiny bubbles or patches that outside of the display. Well being a 'perfectionist', I don't want any imperfection when comes to the display part. And since this is a spare phone, should I buy another screen protector?

About Ultimate Hawker Fest 2014. It's an event where public could savour lots of delicious local food under one roof in a comfortable air-con setting and yet is also for a charitable cause.

Saw PG message on the hawker fest thingy, say 12.30 pm meet at Suntec City. Late by almost 1 hour as I was called up last minute to remove the strong adhesive remains on the wall. Brought the new bag out and overall verdict was good! Doesn't look like it will go spoilt soon lo. The moment I sat down with PG and Nicholas, this person called Matthias (very difficult to recall his name, have to dig it out from the Instagram posts of the 8 DAYS Eat event) came and sat beside Nicholas. Aigoo... 他是不是故意的？整個場地座位還蠻多的，偏要選擇坐我們旁邊，想認識我們？The whole period, he only talked to PG and he suspected that our main job is to blog about food! Crazy! We have a proper full time job leh! From the way he talked and asked questions, I really think he wanted to know about 3 of us. I'm guessing that he saw me before. Oh well... 不熟就靜靜就好啊～～

Anyway back to the main topic of food, before I found them, they already bought and finished Prata with Poached Egg and Indian Hollandaise Sauce – by The Prata Place ($10). Subsequently we had Madam Tan Nasi Lemak with Pork Chop – by Hiok Kitchen ($15), Elongated Glutinous Rice with Abalone – by Geng Shu Mei Shi Shi Jia (根叔美食世家) ($15) and Power Chendol - by Jin Jin Dessert ($10).

It was past 3 pm when we decided to go Marine Parade for free stuff :) Chased after bus 36 made me looked so unglam aigoo! PG commented the LG USB cable super 給力, he was just convinced by its stellar performance despite it just cost $2. Even better than what Daiso sells lor! Keke, then Nicholas also shocked to find that cable jin power, not only it can charge devices faster but also looks and feels much more durable than other original or 3rd party cables. They both wanted to buy more to keep or give to friends/colleagues. Keke, I very yang coz I recommended them this one ds.

The cafe we decided to visit (re-visit for Nicholas) was Geek Cafe, a very very small cafe located at Marine Parade Central without any table and chair, only bar top and bar-type chairs available. It was launched yesterday and they gave out free cakes and coffee to those who liked their FB page. While Nicholas was trying to get as much information from the friendly male staff via chatting, PG already started his action of getting free cake and iced mocha ds. Aigoo, fast hand fast leg hor?

After which, at some point, where what the guy said and what we had observed when we were in other cafes, Adeline, the assistant general manager, was called in to help clarified. From there onwards, it was her who entertained us lol. Quite nice lady who also explained that the assortment cake slices would be up for sale online every Wednesday with a limit of 50 orders. I jokingly told PG that only NTU peeps would win coz last time we always got to fastest fingers to get the tutorial class vacancies. Keke~

In a way, we took 4 cakes out of the 3 as I think Adeline was quite heartwarming and welcoming to ask us to try out their new cakes!

As PG wanted to leave to meet the JC mates at JP, I tried to ask Jordan if he wanted to come down to East Coast Park. Oh ya, also joked on that very bx person of the year - explodingbelly, to come out instameet us as I believe she lives nearby ds. But saggy that Jordan just got home from a buffet lunch and explodingbelly was at Pasir Ris. Aigoo... Nvm lor, we continued our cafehopping adventure at East Coast without anybody. PG went total bx and meltdown by this explodingbelly ds.

I was quite puzzled to see new buildings appeared at East Coast Park - for sure I don't see them the last time I was here. I remembered the famous yellow lighthouse but I didn't see these buildings leh...

So we walked further in and discovered that even Starbucks opened an outlet at ECP! Aigoo, things have changed so much that it's not really that East Coast Park I used to remember liao. Other than Starbucks, we also find 1-2 small eatery places and some bistro-themed restaurants that take on the outdoor nature of ECP - they have no air-con and use the natural sea breeze to cool down the environment.

Nicholas was drawn by 3 places, namely Pick Me Up cafe, Atmosphere Bistro and Sandbank. In fact, I was more interested in taking scenery pictures than food (I have enough on my phone liao).

所以這次下來讓我感覺到世界一直在改變

Everytime I go ECP, photo taking is a must. Enjoying the sea view makes one mood lighter, more relaxing and in turn, happier leh. Not far from the yellow lighthouse, there lies a small pier which I wanted to go and snap the sunset. But I was being cut by Nicholas who called and asked where was I. Aigoo, he said he wanted to try Sandbank (FB link) instead of Atmosphere Bistro because elainegirlgirl and siewnah03 had visited before liao, 所以沒有新鮮感了。拜託！這樣都可以給他想到，真的心機好重啊！

According to the server (yah, according to the restaurant, what an Inception-kind of description haha!), the restaurant just opened some 5 days ago and they're having a 10% off promotion. On top of that, there is no service charge and GST. It kind of attracting people to dine at the restaurant but upon presented the menu by the server, I was appalled to find the food is so expensive! A simple pizza or a plate of pasta cost more than $20 - $30-40 are very common prices on the menu. The only pasta and pizzas that cost < $20 are those fully vegetables one. Sag! 又要花大錢了～

We had

• Charcoal Grilled Cola-marinated Chicken Wings ($14)
• Fried Oyster Sandwich ($22)

On first thought of the food. I didn't feel very cola upon eating the chicken. Yes, it's very easy to separate the meat from the bone, but it felt more of the homecooked 醬油鹵雞 to me lor. The saving grace was that it was charcoal grilled, so it was a little bit too fragrant. However, I think it could be better than if the wings are grilled to perfect they take the way to grill, the heat and the time into account. A bit overrated and overpriced for me though.

The oyster sandwich was somewhat fresh to me. Though I don't really eat oysters but I must say the oysters were pretty good! The bread looks 'hard' but was soft when use a knife to cut through. Well, nothing more I could comment on the sandwich, it's just a basic sandwich which has oysters instead of egg and meat patty. Fries were normal, not cheesy fries nor truffle fries. No surprise here. But the surprise of the price tag - $22 was way overpriced IMO. Not to mention that there was no air-con but I didn't feel hot and stuffy. Lots of angmohs here. Rhyme leh~~

Nicholas 糊塗了。At first he took out his powerbank and put at one corner of the table. Then after that, he said his powerbank not around and asked me if I got extra. Luckily I brought two lor. But saggy, the Yoobao one was out of juice liao. After that he wanted me to send him the Taobao link on the iPad case and the LG USB cable. Aigoo, tio poisoned gao gao.

While we were almost finishing our dinner, the boss (as least I think he is) came over and inquired us how's the food. Well didn't give a super direct feedback, they weren't bad until inedible just that a more afforable price tag definitely would attract more patrons.

Damage: $16.20 (total $32.40)

Just now in the afternoon, Barry sent a WhatsApp message, asking 'What time ur going later?'. Was very puzzled why he sent that message coz we didn't say to go out what. After a long time, then I came to realise got Albert birthday celebration. Coz remembered they saying something like $20 pass to SG. After that, Joa said it would be better if not present at the scene coz the food not really suitable ds. Aigoo, what a relieve. Then Barry mentioned that Pra was there and asked why I wasn't around?! Seriously, he really got invited to go there ah. Seems like my exit of the chat group a mistake ds - I mean don't know what impression I gave to others ds. I just wanted to 'say' that I'm not interested in football game and then less disturbances to the phone mah. 應該沒有錯吧？

After the dinner, we walked to the last stop of the day: Pick Me Up cafe. I don't mind the outdoor seatings as the lighting was really good but Nicholas preferred indoor seating with air-con! Ordered The Manuka waffle with Greek yogurt scoop and fresh banana & strawberry slices as topping ($15.90+). Not cheap ds.

The ice-cream had a pleasant taste which I also don't know how to describe. It's not the typical yogurt-based ice-cream but somehow the cafe had added something to it. Is it honey?

冰淇淋絕對讓食客大開眼界
味道好特別又好吃喔！
如果水果方面可以再多元化
必定吸引到更多食客的！

Nicholas brought out the DSLR and stood up to snap the waffles was too attention grabbing. I felt so paiseh lor. 拿起單眼相機然後站起來拍也太誇張了吧？！

Nicholas narrated what happening on Friday. JX and Jordan were late for the cafehopping which started at Depot Road. So only Nicholas got the free drink on the house while JX and Jordan got to pay for it. Then they talked about my blog. JX seemed very concerned whether I got put his real name and say bad things about him. Aigoo, if you have nothing for me to comment, I wouldn't even want to comment lor. What for leh? But it's true that I will put his real name, but as initials so that those people who knows him and when they read my blog, will know. Keke.

Nicholas said he set up a blog just for him, PG and me, to write and publish food reviews. Honestly, I don't think I can accomplish the task because my workload is just too heavy and I don't have much time for myself, let alone this food-oriented blog. Then Jordan said if got invited for media food tasting event and if I can't go, he can replace me to go. 拜託，真夠毒好不好？！ 這就是 Jordan 的風範。

Left the place for home at 9.30 pm. Took 966 then 151 and lastly 157 home. Journey time: 1.5 hours. I think I need 2 hours if I had taken 197 and 198 instead. Saggy when Edwin last minute told me that the dinner on Monday was called off as he now recalled he got something on that day. Aigoo, 約一個人吃個飯有那麼難嗎？
